Elastic analyses for 18 RC structure models with and without staircases are conducted and compared ...Many staircases in reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures suffered severe damage during the Wenchuan earthquake. Elastic analyses for 18 RC structure models with and without staircases are conducted and compared to study the influence of the staircase on the stiffness, displacements and internal forces of the structures. To capture the yielding development and damage mechanism of frame structures, elasto-plastic analysis is carried out for one of the 18 models. Based on the features observed in the analyses, a new type of staircase design i.e., isolating them from the master structure to eliminate the effect of K-type struts, is proposed and discussed. It is concluded that the proposed method of staircase isolation is effective and feasible for engineering design, and does not significantly increase the construction cost.展开更多

Finally, based on the vegetable planting features and advantages in Shandong Province, some suggestions were proposed for references, such as, to enhance the monitoring of pesticide residue, to improve the educational level of farmers and to scentifically use the pesticide.展开更多

A predominant approach to CF is rating prediction recommender algorithm, aiming to predict a user's rating for those items which were not rated yet by the user. However, with the increasing number of items and users, thedata is sparse.It is difficult to detectlatent closely relation among the items or users for predicting the user behaviors. In this paper,we enhance the rating prediction approach leading to substantial improvement of prediction accuracy by categorizing according to the genres of movies. Then the probabilities that users are interested in the genres are computed to integrate the prediction of each genre cluster. A novel probabilistic approach based on the sentiment analysis of the user reviews is also proposed to give intuitional explanations of why an item is recommended.To test the novel recommendation approach, a new corpus of user reviews on movies obtained from the Internet Movies Database(IMDB) has been generated. Experimental results show that the proposed framework is effective and achieves a better prediction performance.展开更多

In the long-term landscaping practices, plant furnishing arts characterized by diversifi ed layer division, elegant styles, delicate and vivid images have been formed, but are still limited in combination of plant species and selection of varieties. In this paper,starting from two angles of EU agricultural development scale and target,development stage of its agricultural production is explored,and development and evolution causes of EU agriculture are analyzed: efficiency and benefit targets cause change of EU agricultural management model; change of agricultural product supply-demand pattern leads the evolution of EU agricultural development idea; the reflection of agricultural development target impels the transformation of EU agricultural development. On this basis,the below conclusions are obtained: agricultural development could evolve according to the changes of economic and social conditions; it is a necessary requirement of promoting internal market stability and international market harmony to actively use agricultural support policies adapting to agricultural development at each stage; it is an important measurement of impelling agricultural modernization process to promote innovation of agricultural management model and development of market integration; it is an inevitable road of realizing sustainable development of agriculture to develop ecological agriculture and emphasize equal development of agriculture and countryside. Agricultural green development is an essential direction for global sustainable agriculture.The academic literature,however,needs to place greater emphasis on studying the factors influencing agricultural green develo...Agricultural green development is an essential direction for global sustainable agriculture.The academic literature,however,needs to place greater emphasis on studying the factors influencing agricultural green development performance and how such performance can be improved.A theoretical framework for agricultural green development performance was constructed in this paper using the Super-SBM model,which considers undesirable outputs,to measure the agricultural green development performance of 330 cities at or above the prefecture level in China(excluding Tibet Autonomous Region,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan of China)from 2007 to2018.Furthermore,the influencing mechanism of agricultural green development performance was then analyzed using a spatial econometric model.The results show that:1)from 2007 to 2018,China’s agricultural green development performance experienced three stages of evolution:‘rise,decline and rise’.2)The regions with high performance agricultural green development are mainly distributed in eastern China,northeastern China,and southern Qinghai Province.3)The agricultural economic level,industrialization process,and labor quality play significant roles in promoting local agricultural green development performance,while such performance is obviously inhibited by the openness level and the government’s environmental regulations.Local agricultural green development performance is significant inhibited by the agricultural economic level and accelerated industrialization process in neighboring cities,while significantly promoted by the agricultural industrial structure in neighboring cities.Some suggestions for improving agricultural green development performance are proposed based on these research results,which can provide scientific references for promoting sustainable agriculture.展开更多

This paper reviews the history and progress of research on active tectonics in China and overseas.By giving a brief introduction on the history of active tectonic research in China and other countries,the paper sums u...This paper reviews the history and progress of research on active tectonics in China and overseas.By giving a brief introduction on the history of active tectonic research in China and other countries,the paper sums up the process and development of quantitative investigation of active tectonics since the 1980s.The focus is on the main efforts and progress made in China on certain aspects of research,such as basic surveys and applied investigation of active tectonics,the study of theories related to regional active tectonics and their kinematics and geodynamics,surveys on coupling relations between deep and shallow structures,active fault surveys and prospecting and seismic hazard assessment in urban areas,as well as the efforts made using Quaternary geochronology.Furthermore,the paper looks back on Chinese quantitative investigation of active tectonics in China and sums up cognitions derived from studies on the determination of several basic and measurable parameters of active tectonics.These parameters include the length of fault and fault segmentation,coseismic slip and cumulative slip,fault slip rate,the sequence of paleoearthquake events and the time elapsed since the most recent event.At the same time,efforts and progress made in China on assessing the long-term seismic potential for active faults and evaluating the risk from potential active fault movement have been reviewed by summarizing research on developing theories,models,methods and the application of time-dependent seismic potential to probabilistic assessment,magnitude estimation for potential earthquakes on active faults,and the forecast of potential risk caused by active fault movement.Finally,in consideration of the realities and problems in the research of active tectonics in China,the authors put forward several suggestions for issues worthy of more attention for further investigation in the future.展开更多

In order to resolve current problems of Chinese rapeseed industry, suggestions were put forward by combing present situation, prediction and practicable strategies of rapeseed industry. Challenges in Chinese rapeseed industry were analyzed, which included competition from international company; separation between breeding, popularization, and market demand; backward breeding model and R&D(research and development) in enterprise; lack of effective market regulation. Suggestions were made to improve rapeseed industry. First, comprehensive and rational modern rapeseed industry scientific development view should be applied in regional distribution of rapeseed production. Second, rapeseed breeding of China should coordinated and a platform should be formed for breeding innovation. Third, rapeseed multifunctional development and utilization need to be improved to meet the new consumption demand. At last, market supervision must be strengthened to ensure the sustainability and healthy development of seed industry. This paper provided theoretical references for rapeseed breeding and production applications, and established a solid foundation for rapeseed production and popularization in China.展开更多

Henderson Island is located at the east/west midpoint of this wide warm current (130 W). 文摘This paper reviews the history and progress of research on active tectonics in China and overseas.By giving a brief introduction on the history of active tectonic research in China and other countries,the paper sums up the process and development of quantitative investigation of active tectonics since the 1980s.The focus is on the main efforts and progress made in China on certain aspects of research,such as basic surveys and applied investigation of active tectonics,the study of theories related to regional active tectonics and their kinematics and geodynamics,surveys on coupling relations between deep and shallow structures,active fault surveys and prospecting and seismic hazard assessment in urban areas,as well as the efforts made using Quaternary geochronology.Furthermore,the paper looks back on Chinese quantitative investigation of active tectonics in China and sums up cognitions derived from studies on the determination of several basic and measurable parameters of active tectonics.These parameters include the length of fault and fault segmentation,coseismic slip and cumulative slip,fault slip rate,the sequence of paleoearthquake events and the time elapsed since the most recent event.At the same time,efforts and progress made in China on assessing the long-term seismic potential for active faults and evaluating the risk from potential active fault movement have been reviewed by summarizing research on developing theories,models,methods and the application of time-dependent seismic potential to probabilistic assessment,magnitude estimation for potential earthquakes on active faults,and the forecast of potential risk caused by active fault movement.Finally,in consideration of the realities and problems in the research of active tectonics in China,the authors put forward several suggestions for issues worthy of more attention for further investigation in the future.
文摘This paper is about a survey and suggestion on students’vocabulary learning strategies in senior high school.Vocabulary is one of the three elements of a language and the basic material of a language.So the vocabulary learning in English is especially important.In order to help the students to have a better understanding of the significance of language and lay a solid foundation for deep vocabulary acquisition,it is necessary for teachers to find effective ways to learn English vocabulary.So in this paper the author hopes to find what the vocabulary learning strategies the students have used through the survey and give more effective learning strategies according to the available English vocabulary learning strategies.
文摘Rapeseed industry is a central link in edible oil production, and plays a key role in edible oil safety. In order to resolve current problems of Chinese rapeseed industry, suggestions were put forward by combing present situation, prediction and practicable strategies of rapeseed industry. Challenges in Chinese rapeseed industry were analyzed, which included competition from international company; separation between breeding, popularization, and market demand; backward breeding model and R&D(research and development) in enterprise; lack of effective market regulation. Suggestions were made to improve rapeseed industry. First, comprehensive and rational modern rapeseed industry scientific development view should be applied in regional distribution of rapeseed production. Second, rapeseed breeding of China should coordinated and a platform should be formed for breeding innovation. Third, rapeseed multifunctional development and utilization need to be improved to meet the new consumption demand. At last, market supervision must be strengthened to ensure the sustainability and healthy development of seed industry. This paper provided theoretical references for rapeseed breeding and production applications, and established a solid foundation for rapeseed production and popularization in China.

This paper will analyze the nature of court interpreting and draw lessons from successful foreign practices. Moreover,some thoughts and suggestions will be presented for the establishment of national court interpreting standards in China.

文摘History of aquaculture in Zhanjiang City was reviewed by reviewing literatures, human resources, cultured species and culture modes, and distribution of aquaculture system were investigated and summarized. Output and export of processed aquatic products of Zhanjiang in the past years were analyzed, and the role of export aquaculture in economic development and social construction of Zhanjiang City was explored, and suggestions were given for enhancing the development of local export aquaculture.
文摘Plastic has been accumulating on the beaches of Henderson Island in vast quantities according to recent news reports. It is proposed that the plastic is brought to the island by a very broad permanent surface current flowing southeastward past the island. Other characteristics of the flow are that its temperature is relatively high, its depth is shallow (about 100 m), its speed is sluggish (10 - 20 cm/sec), and by broad is meant more than 5000 km along 28 S. Henderson Island is located at the east/west midpoint of this wide warm current (130 W). By knowing more definitely where the plastic is coming from, than the vague suggestions provided by the news sources, it may be possible in the future to slow down or stop the piling up of trash on what were pristine beaches of this World Heritage Site.
