New synchronization algorithm and analysis of its convergence rate for clock oscillators in dynamical network with time-delays are presented.A network of nodes equipped with hardware clock oscillators with bounded drift is considered.Firstly,a dynamic synchronization algorithm based on consensus control strategy,namely fast averaging synchronization algorithm (FASA),is presented to find the solutions to the synchronization problem.By FASA,each node computes the logical clock value based on its value of hardware clock and message exchange.The goal is to synchronize all the nodes' logical clocks as closely as possible.Secondly,the convergence rate of FASA is analyzed that proves it is related to the bound by a nondecreasing function of the uncertainty in message delay and network parameters.Then,FASA's convergence rate is proven by means of the robust optimal design.Meanwhile,several practical applications for FASA,especially the application to inverse global positioning system (IGPS) base station network are discussed.Finally,numerical simulation results demonstrate the correctness and efficiency of the proposed FASA.Compared FASA with traditional clock synchronization algorithms (CSAs),the convergence rate of the proposed algorithm converges faster than that of the CSAs evidently. 展开更多

However, many bottlenecks exist in the converged system such as high time delay, high energy consumption, and low data rate. Multi-Radio Cooperation (MRC) technology is specially designed to overcome these bottlenecks and to satisfy the requirements of heterogeneous network convergence. MRC can improve network capacity, reduce the energy consumption of radio devices, and decrease handover latency between heterogeneous networks by the cooperation of multiple radios, and by efficient management and feasible allocation of multi-radio resources. This flat access convergence structure with ultra-small hops, which shortens the service transmission path, reduces the complexity of the edge of the network, and achieves IP strong waist model with the integration of computation, storage and transmission. In the Internet of things, it is of critical importance to fully utilize the potential capacity of the network with efficient medium access control (MAC) mechanisms. In this paper, we study the convergence property of the fixed point formulation of distributed coordination function (DCF), which is widely used for medium access control in wireless networks. We first Kind that the fixed point could be repelling, which means that it is impossible for an MAC system to converge at its fixed point. Next, we show the existence of periodic points to prove that the fixed point function will oscillate between two periodic points when the fixed point is repelling. We also find that the average of the two periodic points is a close approximation of the fixed point. Based on the findings, we propose an algorithm to compute the fixed point efficiently. Simulation results verify the accuracy and efficiency of our algorithm compared with the previous fixed point computing method. 展开更多
