Itis found thation damage is a key factor affecting the quality of Ga NAs and Ga In NAs QWs. Obvious appearance of pendello¨ sung fringes in X- ray diffraction pattern and remarkable im provement in the optical properties of the samples grown with ion removal magnets are observed.By removing nitrogen ions,the PL intensity of the Ga In NAs QW is improved so as to be comparable with that of Ga In As QW. Low cycle fatigue (LCF)tests under different total strain amplitudes have been conducted in order to ascertain the effect of precipitate sizes on LCF behavior of 8090 Al-Li alloy. A constant strain rate of 3×10-3s-1 and symmetrical triangular waveform were employed for all tests. It is found that the cyclic stress response of the alloy varied with the precipitate sizes and strain amplitudes. The materials in all conditions cyclically handen at first and the higher the strain amplitude, the greater the amount of hardening. The low cyclic flow stress is the highest in the peakaged condition. TEM and SEM observations demonstrated that cyclic stress-strain behavior and fracture mode of Al-Li alloy are closely related to an increase in the dislocation density and interaction between the precipitates and dislocations, sizes of δ particles and pricipitate free zone (PFZ) at grain boundaries. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Subchondral fatigue fracture of the femoral head(SFFFH)mainly occurs in young military recruits and might be confused with osteonecrosis of the femoral head.However,less research focuses on the risk factor for SFFFH.AIM To evaluate the intrinsic risk factors for SFFFH in young military recruits.METHODS X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging data were used for analysis.Acetabular anteversion of the superior acetabulum,acetabular anteversion of the center of the acetabulum(AVcen),anterior acetabular sector angle(AASA),posterior acetabular sector angle,superior acetabular sector angle,neck-shaft angle(NSA),inferior iliac angle(IIA),and ischiopubic angle were calculated.Then,logistic regression,receiver operating characteristic curve analysis,and independent samples t-test were performed to identify the risk factors for SFFFH.RESULTS Based on the results of logistic regression,age[odds ratio(OR):1.33;95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.12-1.65;P=0.0031]and treatment timing(OR:0.86;95%CI:0.75-0.96;P=0.015)could be considered as the indicators for SFFFH.AVcen(P=0.0334),AASA(P=0.0002),NSA(P=0.0007),and IIA(P=0.0316)were considered to have statistical significance.Further,AVcen(OR:1.41;95%CI:1.04-1.95)and AASA(OR:1.44;95%CI:1.21-1.77),especially AASA(area under curve:66.6%),should be paid much more attention due to the higher OR than other indicators.CONCLUSION We have for the first time unveiled that AASA and age could be key risk factors for SFFFH,which further verifies that deficient anterior coverage of the acetabulum might be the main cause of SFFFH. 展开更多

Apatites are selected from fracture clay and fracture\|cliff rock in the fracture belts and examined with the fission track dating method. Our study shows that the Xiannushan and Jiuwanxi fracture belts were tectonically active at 0.60±0.04Ma and 0.29±0.04Ma ago, respectively. In the creep fatigue crack growth of GH4169 alloy,oxidation is a prominent damage source,which is mainly manifested as the oxidation damage zone in front of crack tip.In order to investigate the property of the oxidation damage zone formed in the creep fatigue crack growth,crack growth tests of directly aged GH4169 alloy were conducted at 650℃ in air under various load conditions.Interrupted tests were performed to observe the damage characteristics at crack tip.Block tests were systematically executed to quantify the dependency of oxidation damage zone size on load and holding time.The crack propagation of the GH4169 alloy has a close relationship with grain boundary oxidation at 650℃.An oxidation damage zone in front of crack tip includes intergranular microcracks and oxidised but uncracked grain boundaries.Its size has been calculated from transient crack growth rate and described as a function of maximum stress intensity factor and holding time.Based on oxidation damage zone size,a novel model has been developed to predict the creep fatigue crack growth rate of the GH4169 alloy at 650℃. 展开更多

为了研究脉动参量对脉动水力压裂致裂效果的影响,制作了力学特征接近真实煤体的型煤试样,利用脉动水力压裂实验系统分别从不同压裂方式、不同脉动频率和不同参量组合3个方面进行了实验,实验结果表明:对于相似型煤试样,脉动压裂在较小压... 为了研究脉动参量对脉动水力压裂致裂效果的影响,制作了力学特征接近真实煤体的型煤试样,利用脉动水力压裂实验系统分别从不同压裂方式、不同脉动频率和不同参量组合3个方面进行了实验,实验结果表明:对于相似型煤试样,脉动压裂在较小压力下使试样破坏,其原因在于使试样产生疲劳破坏;脉动压裂时试样内部变化可分成脉动水充满原始裂隙、裂隙发育和扩展、裂隙贯通3个时期;相同压力下,脉动频率越低裂隙发育越充分,脉动频率选择24 Hz时煤层增透效果和脉动压裂效率均能得到保证;实施脉动水力压裂时应适当控制脉动压力,为脉动水在煤体内部的反复作用提供时间保证。结合脉动参量组合特点,提出了"双频-双压"压裂工艺。 展开更多

随机风速会使风电齿轮箱传动系统出现频繁的载荷波动,造成复杂的结构变形,容易产生齿轮偏载,加剧其接触疲劳失效风险。提出了一种考虑环境参数随机不确定性的风电齿轮箱传动系统疲劳性能优化方法,在建立计入全局载荷的风电齿轮箱传动系... 随机风速会使风电齿轮箱传动系统出现频繁的载荷波动,造成复杂的结构变形,容易产生齿轮偏载,加剧其接触疲劳失效风险。提出了一种考虑环境参数随机不确定性的风电齿轮箱传动系统疲劳性能优化方法,在建立计入全局载荷的风电齿轮箱传动系统动力学模型基础上,利用代理模型方法重构“平均风速、湍流强度-齿轮修形参数-齿轮长期接触疲劳损伤”映射关系,建立考虑风速概率分布的多级齿轮修形参数优化函数,对比了风电齿轮箱传动系统疲劳性能优化效果。结果表明,低速级太阳轮长期接触疲劳损伤值大于0.7,是风电齿轮箱传动系统高可靠设计的薄弱环节之一;优化后的风电齿轮箱齿轮长期接触疲劳损伤值明显降低,其中低速级太阳轮长期接触疲劳损伤值降低了11.37%,疲劳性能提升效果显著。 展开更多

Quality of life of elderly nursing home residents and its correlates in Kayseri. A descriptive-analytical design: A cross-sectional study

Purpose: To define the level of quality of life in an elderly population and to investigate the effects of selected variables, such as anemia, fatigue, depression and sleep disorders, on the quality of life. Design and Methods: The study was conducted in Gazio?lu Nursing Home, located in the city center of Kayseri, on 136 subjects ≥65 in the year 2008-2009. Data were collected using the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS), Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-OLD (WHOQOL- OLD) Module. In the statistical analysis mean ± standard deviation, student’s t-test, ANOVA and Spearman correlation analysis were used. Re- sults: The mean total score of quality of life was 43.45 ± 10.30. Of the residents 47.0% had a poor quality of life. Autonomy had the lowest (35.70 ± 19.96) and intimacy had the highest (48.75 ± 17.96) subdomain scores. Fatigue significantly decreased the total and autonomy, social par- ticipation and death and dying subdomain scores. Anemia had a significant adverse effect on intimacy, depression on autonomy and intimacy and sleep disorder on death and dying. There were negative correlations between fatigue with past-present-future activities and social participation, depression with social participation, intimacy, death and dying and glucose levels with social participation and intimacy. Implications: About half of the subjects had a poor quality of life. Fatigue was the sole factor to negatively affect the total score in WHOQOL-OLD. Depression, anemia and sleep disorder adversely affected the autonomy, social participation, intimacy, death and dying subdomain scores but not in all. 展开更多
