As a result, the active disturbance rejectioncontroller (ADRC) has been widely applied in various fields. However, in controlling plant protection unmannedaerial vehicles (UAVs), which are typically large and subject to significant disturbances, load disturbances andthe possibility of multiple actuator faults during pesticide spraying pose significant challenges. To address theseissues, this paper proposes a novel fault-tolerant control method that combines a radial basis function neuralnetwork (RBFNN) with a second-order ADRC and leverages a fractional gradient descent (FGD) algorithm. We integrate the plant protection UAV model’s uncertain parameters, load disturbance parameters, and actuatorfault parameters and utilize the RBFNN for system parameter identification. The norm bounded disturbances which are composed of interactive forces among adjacent carriages and basis running resistances are rearranged by the fuzzy linearity technique. The modeled disturbances described as an exogenous system are compensated for by a disturbance observer. Moreover, a sliding mode surface is constructed, which can transform the stabilization problem of position and velocity into the stabilization problem of position errors and velocity errors, i.e., the tracking problem of position and velocity. Based on the parallel distributed compensation method and the disturbance observer, the fault-tolerant controller is solved. The Lyapunov theory is used to prove the stability of the closed-loop system. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed fault-tolerant control strategy are illustrated by simulation results.展开更多

And rotor position is an essential parameter of PMSM control algorithm, hence it is very dangerous if Hall senor faults occur. But there is scarcely any research focusing on fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control of Hall sensor used in PMSM. From this standpoint, the Hall sensor faults which may occur during the PMSM operating are theoretically analyzed. According to the analysis results, the fault diagnosis algorithm of Hall sensor, which is based on three rules, is proposed to classify the fault phenomena accurately. The rotor phase estimation algorithms, based on one or two Hall sensor(s), are initialized to engender the fault-tolerant control algorithm. The fault diagnosis algorithm can detect 60 Hall fault phenomena in total as well as all detections can be fulfilled in 1/138 rotor rotation period. The fault-tolerant control algorithm can achieve a smooth torque production which means the same control effect as normal control mode (with three Hall sensors). Finally, the PMSM bench test verifies the accuracy and rapidity of fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control strategies. The fault diagnosis algorithm can detect all Hall sensor faults promptly and fault-tolerant control algorithm allows the PMSM to face failure conditions of one or two Hall sensor(s). In addition, the transitions between health-control and fault-tolerant control conditions are smooth without any additional noise and harshness. Proposed algorithms can deal with the Hall sensor faults of PMSM in real applications, and can be provided to realize the fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control of PMSM.展开更多

The fault-tolerance study in this paper presents the cascading of two independent workcells where each controller must be able to handle the load of both cells in case of failure of the other one. The intercommunication is completely wireless between the cells and this feature is investigated. The model incorporates unmodified 802.11b and 802.11g for communication. Sensors send sampled data to both controllers and the controllers to exchange a watchdog. The fault-free and faulty models are both simulated using OPNET Network Modeler. External interference on the critical intercommunication link is also investigated. Results of simulations are presented based on a 95% confidence analysis, guaranteeing correct system performance.展开更多

文摘With the strong battlefield application environment of the next generation fighter, based on the design of distributed vehicle management system,a fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control(FTC)method for wing surface damage is proposed in this paper.Aiming at three kinds of wing damage modes, this paper proposes a diagnosis method based on the fault decision tree and forms a fault decision tree for wing damage from the aspects of sample database construction, feature parameter extraction, and fault decision tree construction.Based on the fault diagnosis results, the longitudinal control law based on dynamic inverse and the lateral-directional robust control laws based on linear quadratic regulator(LQR)are proposed. From the simulation examples, the fault diagnosis algorithm based on the decision tree can complete the judgment of three wing surface damage modes within 2 ms,and the FTC law can make the fighter quickly return to a stable flight state after a short transient of 1 s,which achieves the fault-tolerant goal.
文摘A Wireless Networked Control System using 802.11b is used to model fault-tolerance at the controller level of an industrial workcell. Results of simulations are presented based on a 95% confidence analysis, guaranteeing correct system performance.

文摘An adaptive robust approach for actuator fault-tolerant control of a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is proposed. The two chief ways in which the system performance can degrade following an actuator-fault are undesirable transients and unacceptably large steady-state tracking errors.Adaptive control based schemes can achieve good final tracking accuracy in spite of change in system parameters following an actuator fault, and robust control based designs can achieve guaranteed transient response. However, neither adaptive control nor robust control based fault-tolerant designs can address both the issues associated with actuator faults. In the present work,an adaptive robust fault-tolerant control scheme is claimed to solve both the problems,as it seamlessly integrates adaptive and robust control design techniques.Comparative simulation studies are performed using a nonlinear hypersonic aircraft model to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme over a robust adaptive control based faulttolerant scheme.

文摘In this paper, indirect adaptive state feedback control schemes are developed to solve the robust fault-tolerant control (FTC) design problem of actuator fault and perturbation compensations for linear time-invariant systems.A more general and practical model of actuator faults is presented. While both eventual faults on actuators and perturbations are unknown, the adaptive schemes are addressed to estimate the lower and upper bounds of actuator-stuck faults and perturbations online,as well as to estimate control effectiveness on actuators. Thus,on the basis of the information from adaptive schemes,an adaptive robust state feed-back controller is designed to compensate the effects of faults and perturbations automatically.According to Lyapunov stability theory,it is shown that the robust adaptive closed-loop systems can be ensured to be asymptotically stable under the influence of actuator faults and bounded perturbations. An example is provided to further illustrate the fault compensation effectiveness.

文摘The problem of guaranteed cost active fault-tolerant controller (AFTC) design for networked control systems (NCSs) with both packet dropout and transmission delay is studied in this paper.Considering the packet dropout and transmission delay,a piecewise constant controller is adopted. With a guaranteed cost function, optimal controllers whose number is equal to the number of actuators are designed, and the design process is formulated as a convex optimal problem that can be solved by existing software. The control strategy is proposed as follows:when actuator failures appear, the fault detection and isolation unit sends out the information to the controller choosing strategy, and then the optimal stabilizing controller with the smallest guaranteed cost value is chosen. Two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.By comparing with the existing methods,it can be seen that our method has a better performance.
