采用密度泛函理论研究了As_(2)O_(3)(g)在Fe、La掺杂CeO_(2)(110)表面及氧缺陷LaCeO(110)表面的吸附行为,探索了LaCeO表面砷吸附能力显著高于FeCeO表面的主要原因。结果表明,As_(2)O_(3)(g)的吸附效果与吸附位点数量、吸附能、键长和电... 采用密度泛函理论研究了As_(2)O_(3)(g)在Fe、La掺杂CeO_(2)(110)表面及氧缺陷LaCeO(110)表面的吸附行为,探索了LaCeO表面砷吸附能力显著高于FeCeO表面的主要原因。结果表明,As_(2)O_(3)(g)的吸附效果与吸附位点数量、吸附能、键长和电荷转移密切相关。纯CeO_(2)表面的吸附主要为化学吸附,吸附能绝对值大于−4.22 eV,电荷转移量为(−0.19)−(−0.31)e,As_(2)O_(3)得到电荷带负电,起表面受主作用,因此吸附量较小。FeCeO(110)表面新增Fe顶位和Bridge-2桥位两个吸附位,其中,Fe顶位为化学吸附,Fe掺杂改变了FeCeO表面电子分布和晶格结构,但并未改变As_(2)O_(3)与FeCeO之间的电荷转移方向,因此,As_(2)O_(3)仍呈负离子形式吸附。LaCeO(110)表面新增了三个吸附位:La顶位、Bridge-3桥位和Hollow-2空位,La掺杂改变了As_(2)O_(3)与LaCeO之间的电荷转移方向,使得As_(2)O_(3)失电子呈正离子吸附,起表面施主作用,因此,吸附能力增强。无O_(2)环境下,单一O缺陷LaCeO(110)表面吸附能力低于完整LaCeO表面;有O_(2)环境下,O缺陷有利于As_(2)O_(3)的吸附。 展开更多

Fe^(2+)与Fe^(3+)对anammox体系中N_(2)O排放的影响

有研究表明,适量Fe^(2+)与Fe^(3+)能够促进anammox菌体代谢,但对于菌体N_(2)O产量的影响仍未可知。该文以批次实验的形式探究anammox在不同浓度Fe^(2+)与Fe^(3+)浓度下的N_(2)O产量,并分析其微生物组学和功能基因变化。结果表明,加入Fe^... 有研究表明,适量Fe^(2+)与Fe^(3+)能够促进anammox菌体代谢,但对于菌体N_(2)O产量的影响仍未可知。该文以批次实验的形式探究anammox在不同浓度Fe^(2+)与Fe^(3+)浓度下的N_(2)O产量,并分析其微生物组学和功能基因变化。结果表明,加入Fe^(2+)的组别中N_(2)O排放量在20 mg/L Fe^(2+)时最高(0.29 mg/L),30 mg/L Fe^(2+)时下降47.01%;加入Fe^(3+)的组别中N_(2)O排放量随Fe^(3+)浓度递增,30 mg/L Fe^(3+)时N_(2)O最高排放量为0.17 mg/L。微生物群落多样性分析表明,5 mg/L Fe^(2+)和Fe^(3+)能刺激Candidatus Kuenenia的生长,然而反硝化菌Denitratisoma和Limnobacter随Fe^(2+)和Fe^(3+)浓度的提高而增加。功能基因分析表明,N_(2)O的释放与硝化途径、DNRA途径、反硝化途径以及anammox途径中的功能基因有关,并与基因norB、nirD、hcp呈显著正相关(P<0.05)。该文阐述了Fe^(2+)与Fe^(3+)对anammox体系N_(2)O排放的影响,可为anammox工艺中的N_(2)O控制提供参考。 展开更多

Nano TiO2/Fe3O4 composite particles with different molar ratios of TiO2 to Fe3O4 were prepared via sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and vibration sample magnetometry were used to characterize the TiO2/Fe3O4 particles. The photocatalytic activity of the particles was tested by degrading methyl blue solution under UV illumination (254 nm). The results indicate that with the content of TiO2 increasing, the photocatalytic activity of the composite particles enhances, while the magnetism of the particles decreases. When the molar ratio of TiO2 to Fe3O4 is about 8, both the photocatalytic activity and magnetism of the TiO2/Fe3O4 particles are relatively high, and their photocatalytic activity remains well after repeated use. 展开更多

Facile preparation of cost-effective and durable porous carbon-supported non-precious-metal/nitrogen electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is extremely important for promoting the commercialized applications of such catalysts.In this work,the FeCl3-containing porphyrinato iron-based covalent porous polymer(FeCl3·FeP or-CPP)was fabricated in-situ onto porous corncob biomass supports via a simple one-pot method.Subsequent thermal-reduction pyrolysis at 700℃-900℃with CO2 gas as an activating agent resulted in Fe2O3-decorated and N-doped graphitic carbon composite Fe2O3@NC&bio-C with a high degree of graphitization of Fe-involved promotion during pyrolysis(Fe2O3=FeCl3·FePor-CPP derived Fe2O3;NC=N-doped graphene analog;bio-C=the corncob-derived hierarchically porous graphitic biomass carbon framework).The derivedα-Fe2O3 andγ-Fe2O3 nanocrystals(5-10 nm particle diameter)were all immobilized on the N-doped bio-C micro/nanofibers.Notably,the Fe2O3@NC&bio-C obtained at the pyrolysis temperature of 800℃(Fe2O3@NC&bio-C-800),exhibited unusual ORR catalytic efficiency via a 4-electron pathway with the onset and half-wave potentials of 0.96 V and 0.85 V vs.RHE,respectively.In addition,Fe2O3@NC&bio-C-800 also exhibited a high and stable limiting current density of-6.0 mA cm-2,remarkably stability(larger than 91%retention after 10000 s),and good methanol tolerance.The present work represents one of the best results for iron-based biomass material ORR catalysts reported to date.The high ORR activity is attributed to the uniformly distributedα-Fe2O3 andγ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles on the N-enriched carbon matrix with a large specific surface area of 772.6 m^2 g^-1.This facilitates favor faster electron movement and better adsorption of oxygen molecules on the surface of the catalyst.Nevertheless,comparative studies on the structure and ORR catalytic activity of Fe2O3@NC&bioC-800 with Fe2O3@bio-C-800 and NC&bio-C-800 clearly highlight the synergistic effect of the coexisting Fe2O3 nanocrystals,NC,and bio-C on the ORR performance. 展开更多

The effects of MgO/Al2 O3 ratio on the viscous behaviors of MgO-Al2 O3-TiO2-CaO-SiO2 systems were investigated by the rotating cylinder method.Raman spectroscopy was used to analyze the structural characteristics of slag and Factsage 7.0 was adopted to demonstrate the liquidus temperature of slag.The results show that the viscosity and activation energy for viscous flow decrease when the MgO/Al2O3 ratio increases from 0.82 to 1.36.The break point temperature and liquidus temperature of slag initially decrease and subsequently increase.The complex viscous structures are gradually depolymerized to simple structural units.In conclusion,with the increase of MgO/Al2O3 ratio,the degree of polymerization of slag decreases,which improves the fluidity of slag.The variations of liquidus temperature of slag lead to the same changes of break point temperature. 展开更多

A 60%Fe/Al_2O_3 catalyst was prepared by the co-precipitation method.It was reduced by H_2 to produce metallic Fe,which was then sulfided by CS_2 to Fe_(0.96) S and Fe_3S_4 or phosphided by triphenylphosphine(PPh3) in liquid phases to Fe2 P and Fe P.It was found that the iron sulfides(Fe0.96 S and Fe_3S_4) exhibited the low activity for the hydrodesulfurization(HDS) reactions.The HDS activity was also low on the Fe(metal)/Al_2O_3 and Fe_2 P/Al_2O_3 catalysts since they were converted into Fe0.96 S and Fe_3S_4 during the HDS reactions.In contrast,the FeP/Al_2O_3 was found to be stable and active for the HDS reactions.In particular,Fe P/Al_2O_3 possessed significantly smaller Fe P particles than Fe P/C,leading to the significant higher HDS activity of FeP/Al_2O_3 than Fe P/C. 展开更多

In order to develop a catalyst with high activity for catalytic wet oxidation (CWO) process at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, Fe2O3-CeO2-TiO2/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was prepared by consecutive impregnation method and the prepared parameters were optimized. The structure of the catalyst was characterized by BET, XRF, SEM and XPS technologies, and the actual wastewater was used to investigate the catalytic activity of Fe2O3-CeO2-TiO2/γ-Al2O3 in CWO process. The experimental results showed that the prepared catalyst exhibited good catalytic activity when the doping amount of Ti was 1.0 wt% (the weight ratio of Ti to carriers), and the middle product, Fe2O3-CeO2-TiO2/γ-Al2O3, was calcined in 450℃ for 2 h. The CWO experiment for treating actual dye wastewater indicated that the COD, color and TOC of actual wastewater were decreased by 62.23%, 50.12% and 41.26% in 3 h, respectively, and the ratio of BOD5/COD was increased from 0.19 to 0.30. 展开更多

A magnetic metal organic framework(MMOF) was synthesized and used to separate Sr^2+ in aqueous solution. The shape and structure of prepared Fe3O4@UiO-66-NH2 were characterized, and the absorbed concentration of strontium was determined through inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The results indicated that Fe3O4 and UiO-66-NH2 combined through chemical bonding. The experimental adsorption results for separation of Sr^2+ in aqueous solution indicated that the adsorption of Sr^2+ to Fe3O4@UiO-66-NH2 increased drastically from pH 11 to pH 13. The adsorption isotherm model indicated that the adsorption of Sr^2+ conformed to the Freundlich isotherm model(R2 = 0.9919). The MMOF thus inherited the superior qualities of magnetic composites and metal organic frameworks, and can easily be separated under an external magnetic field. The preparation of nanometer γ-Fe2O3 through an electrochemical process was studied at room temperature, using a metal iron plate as sacrificing anode and a sheet of stainless steel as cathode, in non-aqueous mediate containing (Bu)4 NBr as support electrolyre and 2% (vol%) water. The powdery particles obtained were then calcined at 300 ℃. The products were characterized by IR, XRD, SEM, TEM and laser particle size analyser, indicating the fine particle is a pure nanometer γ-Fe2O3. The morphology is like coneshaped and their average size is 22.0 nm. Furthermore the VSM spectrum shows that the particle's coercivity (3.9 × 10^3 A/m) is rather small, presenting the excellent super-paramagnetism. 展开更多

The ferrites of Cuo-ZnO-Fe2o3 solid solution series near the molar ratio of ZnxCu1-x were prepared by direct heating of their coprecipitated hydroxides using NH4OH as precipitating agent where x=0.0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8 and 1.0. Additional amounts of Cu and Zn sulphates were added to compensate the loss during the coprecipitation of the hydroxides. The ferritized samples were characterized by chemical analysis, XRD. DTA, TGA and SEM. XRD of both Zn0.2Cu0.8Fe2O4 and Zn0.5Cu0.5 Fe2O4 that indicates the formation of a heterogeneous ferrite material of ZnFe2O4 and CuFe2O4 mixed with variable amounts of α-Fe2O3. Zn and Cu ferrites were observed only in Zn0.8Cu0.2Fe2O4.From TGA-time relation, the activation energy of the different transformation phases were calculated. It is found that, the activation energy of ZnFe2O4 is slightly equal to 3/2 of that for CuFe2O4. Dielectric measurements show that the electrical behaviour depends on the ordering and disordering of the phases. 展开更多

Nanostructured γ-Fe2O3/SiO2 complex oxide was prepared by sol-gel method with tetraethoxysilane and iron nitrate as precursors. The particle size distribution, thermal and phase stabilities and gas sensing properties were systematically characterized by TEM, granularity distribution, TG-DTA, XRD and gas sensitivity measurements. The particle size is about 10 nm and size distribution is very narrow. The sensitivity of the sensing element to CO, H2, C2H4, C6H6 and the effects of calcination temperature on the sensitivity and conductance of gases were examined. The combination of excellent thermal stability and tunable gas sensing properties through careful control of the preparation and judicious selection of material compositions gives rise to novel nanocomposites, which is attractive for the sensitive and selective detection of reducing gases and some hydrocarbon gases. 展开更多

The effects of the initial framework SiO2/Al2O3 ratio and temperature on the structural changes of NaY zeolites during hydrothermal treatments are studied. Two samples with different framework SiO2/Al2O3 ratios are subjected to hydrothermal treatment at four different temperatures. For zeolite with a lower initial SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 4.2, mesopores are easily formed because more framework aluminum is detached. Moreover, two kinds of mesopores are produced at a higher temperature due to the interconnection of vacancies and smaller mesopores. For zeolite with a higher initial SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 6.0, there are less mesopores formed as compared with the lower initial SiO2/Al2O3 ratio sample, but there are some macropores formed. This may be attributed to the isolation of vacancies and the different distributions of aluminum in the crystal lattice of the zeolite. The experiment data show that NaY with the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 6.0 retains a high relative crystallinity during the hydrothermal treatment. This proves that a high framework SiO2/Al2O3 ratio benefits the stability of zeolite. 展开更多

Fe2O3/active carbon(Fe2O3/AC) nanocomposites were readily fabricated by pyrolyzing Fe3+ impregnated active carbon in a nitrogen atmosphere. The as-prepared composites were studied by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The capacitive property of the composites was investigated by cyclic voltammetry(CV) and galvanostatic charge-discharge test. Physical characterizations show that the γ-Fe2O3 fine grains dispersed in the AC well, with a mean size of 21.24 nm. Electrochemical tests in 6 mol/L KOH solutions indicate that the as-prepared nanocomposites exhibited improved capacitive properties. The specific capacitance(SC) of Fe2O3/AC nanocomposites was up to 188.4 F/g that was derived from both electrochemical double-layer capacitance and pseudo-capacitance, which was 78% larger than that of pristine AC. A symmetric capacitor with Fe2O3/AC nanocomposites as electrode showed an excellent cycling stability. The SC was only reduced by a factor of 9.2% after 2000 cycles at a current density of 1 A/g. 展开更多

Electro-catalysts Fe203-ZnO loading on the bamboo charcoal was titled as Fe203-ZnO/C. The catalytic materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The obtained catalysts were assembled to three-dimensional electrodes to degradation of chlorinated organic in paper wastewater. And the performance tests show that three-dimensional electrodes have high activities for degradation of chlorinated organic in paper wastewater. There are many factors affecting the electro-catalytic performances of the three-dimensional electrodes. And the orthogonal experiment results show that the optimum operating condition is as follows: the calcination time of the catalysts 2 h, the mass ratio of Fe to Zn 4:1, the voltage 12 V, the mass of the catalytic materials 6 g, the value of pH 9, and the treating time 2.5 h. Under these conditions, the optimum removal efficiency of chlorinated organics in paper wastewater is 47.58%. 展开更多
