With the advent of deep learning,self-driving schemes based on deep learning are becoming more and more popular.Robust perception-action models should learn from data with different scenarios and real behaviors,while current end-to-end model learning is generally limited to training of massive data,innovation of deep network architecture,and learning in-situ model in a simulation environment.Therefore,we introduce a new image style transfer method into data augmentation,and improve the diversity of limited data by changing the texture,contrast ratio and color of the image,and then it is extended to the scenarios that the model has been unobserved before.Inspired by rapid style transfer and artistic style neural algorithms,we propose an arbitrary style generation network architecture,including style transfer network,style learning network,style loss network and multivariate Gaussian distribution function.The style embedding vector is randomly sampled from the multivariate Gaussian distribution and linearly interpolated with the embedded vector predicted by the input image on the style learning network,which provides a set of normalization constants for the style transfer network,and finally realizes the diversity of the image style.In order to verify the effectiveness of the method,image classification and simulation experiments were performed separately.Finally,we built a small-sized smart car experiment platform,and apply the data augmentation technology based on image style transfer drive to the experiment of automatic driving for the first time.The experimental results show that:(1)The proposed scheme can improve the prediction accuracy of the end-to-end model and reduce the model’s error accumulation;(2)the method based on image style transfer provides a new scheme for data augmentation technology,and also provides a solution for the high cost that many deep models rely heavily on a large number of label data. 展开更多

BACKGROUND The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic disrupted education systems by forcing systems to shift to emergency online leaning.Online learning satisfaction affects academic achievement.Many factors affect online learning satisfaction.However there is little study focused on personal characteristics,mental status,and coping style when college students participated in emergency online courses.regression analyses were performed to identify factors that affected online learning satisfaction.RESULTS Descriptive findings indicated that 62.9%(994/1580)of students were satisfied with online learning.Factors that had significant positive effects on online learning satisfaction were online learning at scheduled times,strong exercise intensity,good health,regular schedule,focusing on the epidemic less than one hour a day,and maintaining emotional stability.Positive coping styles were protective factors of online learning satisfaction.Risk factors for poor satisfaction were depression,neurasthenia,and negative coping style.CONCLUSION College students with different personal characteristics,mental status,and coping style exhibited different degrees of online learning satisfaction.Our findings provide reference for educators,psychologists,and school adminis-trators to conduct health education intervention of college students during emergency online learning. 展开更多

Aiming at the current process of artistic creation and animation creation, there are a lot of repeated manual operations in the process of conversion from sketch to the stylized image. This paper presented a solution based on a deep learning framework to realize image generation and style transfer. The method first used the conditional generation to resist the network, optimizes the loss function of the training mapping relationship, and generated the actual image from the input sketch. Then, by defining and optimizing the perceptual loss function of the style transfer model, the style features are extracted from the image, thereby forming the actual The conversion between images and stylized art images. Experiments show that this method can greatly reduce the work of coloring and converting with different artistic effects, and achieve the purpose of transforming simple stick figures into actual object images. 展开更多

Kolb’s Learning Styles Inventory Tool questionnaire identity styles Bennion-Adams used the results showed that successful identity styles between style concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization and active experimentation students have a significant relationship. Among the components of a successful style only concrete experience, reflective observation and active experimentation to predict and successful identity and disoriented style of abstract conceptualization learning style to predict. Clothing plays an important role in humans’social life as it can enhance people’s personal quality,and it is a practical problem by answering the question“which item should be chosen to match current fashion items in a set to form collocational and compatible outfits”.Motivated by this target an end-to-end clothing collocation learning framework is developed for handling the above task.In detail,the proposed framework firstly conducts feature extraction by fusing the features of deep layer from Inception-V3 and classification branch of mask regional convolutional neural network(Mask-RCNN),respectively,so that the low-level texture information and high-level semantic information can be both preserved.Then,the proposed framework treats the collocation outfits as a set of sequences and adopts bidirectional long short-term memory(Bi-LSTM)for the prediction.Extensive simulations are conducted based on DeepFashion2 datasets.Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method compared with other state-of-the-art clothing collocation methods. 展开更多

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused higher educational institutions around the world to close campus-based activities and move to online delivery.The aim of this paper is to present the case of Global College of Engineering and Technology(GCET)and how its practices including teaching,students/staff support,assessments,and exam policies were affected.The paper investigates the mediating role of no detriment policy impact on students’result along with the challenges faced by the higher educational institution,recommendations and suggestions.The investigation concludes that the strategies adopted for online delivery,student support,assessments and exam policies have helped students to effectively cope with the teaching and learning challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic without affecting their academic results.The study shows that 99%of students were able to maintain the same or better level of performance during the 1st COVID-19 semester.One percent of students had shown a slight decrease in their performance(about 1%–2%)with respect to their overall marks pre-COVID-19.The no detriment policy has succoured those 1%of the students to maintain their overall performance to what it used to be pre-COVID-19 pandemic.Finally,the paper provides the list of challenges and suggestions for smooth conduction of online education. 展开更多

In recent years, research emphasis in the field of SLA (second language acquisition) has shifted to the study of the learning process and behaviors of learners than that of teachers. Researches concerning the learners' language learning strategies and learning styles have been conducted in different cultural backgrounds. However, comparatively speaking, there are few studies focusing on the relationship between language learning strategies and learning style preferences in English learning among Chinese students. This paper elaborates on the research questions and hypotheses according to the English Learning Questionnaire, which consists primarily of SILL (Strategy Inventory for Language Learning) (Oxford, 1990) and PLSP (Perceptual Learning Style Preference) Survey (Reid, 1987) to identify their English learning strategy uses and learning style preferences. Then, with statistical analysis (by SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions)) of the results of the questionnaire, discussions are made on the correlation between learning strategies, learning style preferences, and their gender differences, followed by pedagogical implications for English teaching and learning in the university settings in China. 展开更多

To this end 146 Iranian EFL learners studying English at different levels of language proficiency, participated in this study. O'Brien's (1990) learning channel preference checklist was given to students to determine their sensory preferences In addition, a Speaking Strategy questionnaire (an adaptation of strategy inventory for language learning (SILL), focusing on strategies used at the time of Speaking) was also given to the students in another session. The data were analyzed using multivariate ANOVA (MANOVA) in order to probe the relationship between Iranian EFL Learners' Learning Style Sensory Preferences and their speaking strategy use across proficiency. Based on the results, it can be claimed that there was a weak to moderate interaction between the proficiency levels and preference of speaking strategies on the learning styles of the Iranian EFL learners. 展开更多
