Implementing and Popularizing Health Clinics and Educational Programs in NJ School Areas for Supporting NJ Pregnant Teenagers

This proposal focuses on the prevalence of teenage pregnancy issue in NJ and illustrates the benefits of school-based health clinics and educational programs which should be implemented for teenage pregnancy and childbearing.Without the early intervention of educational programs and preventive medical services which should be implemented in school areas,teen pregnancy and childbearing can have physical and emotional health influences on teen mothers,their babies and other family members,and the worst consequence should be abortion.What’s more,teenage pregnancy and childbearing have substantial economic consequence for state.The annual estimated cost associated with teen childbearing (teens 19 and younger) in NJ to taxpayers is at least $167 million in 2004 (24% federal costs and 76% state and local costs).Studies demonstrated that a much larger amount of money is spent on the consequences of teenage pregnancy than on prevention.NJ has an opportunity to invest in prevention and reduce not only the monetary but also the societal costs to our youth burdened by the often overwhelming responsibilities of teenage pregnancy and parenting.According to the 15 years follow-up research and data analyzing,two models of success which specifically implemented in South Carolina high schools and Chicago public schools have been proved to effectively reduce incidence of repeat pregnancy and emergency room visits,reduce incidence of teen mothers smoking during pregnancy,improve emotional outcomes among teen mothers,decrease incidence of teen mothers drug impairment,arrest,conviction,or jail time and reduce use of food stamps and other public assistances,which can consequently increase the state public health costs.In order to support teen mothers’ academic,physical,emotional and social needs in a stable and consistent school environment,the plan which titled "Physical and Mental Health Promotion for NJ Teen Mothers" is effective and practical enough to arouse the attention of some relevant departments.It’s worth patron to fund the plan because supporting teenage pregnancy at early stage can subsequently benefit the national and state economy and teen mothers.

Diabetes mellitus has spread throughout many nations of the world and is now a serious threat.A lack of patient self‑management has been linked to this drain on global health.The consequences of diabetic patients’poor self‑management have increased a variety of complications and lengthened hospital stays.Poor information and skill acquisition have been linked to poor self‑management.Participating in a co‑operative approach known as diabetes self‑management education will help diabetes patients who want to successfully self‑manage their condition and any associated conditions.Information is one of the most important components of a diabetes management strategy.In conclusion,numerous studies have shown that patients with diabetes have poor self‑management skills and knowledge in all areas,making training in diabetes self‑management necessary to minimize the complications that may result from diabetes mellitus among the patients.This review discussed the severity of diabetes mellitus,diabetes self‑management,and the benefits and challenges of diabetes self‑management,which may aid individuals in understanding the significance of diabetes self‑management and how it relates to diabetes self‑care.

This paper discusses the transformation of art education in anticipation of the future school,and emphasizes the key role of art education in cultivating students’creativity,aesthetic ability,thinking ability,and meeting social needs.The shortcomings and delays in the traditional art education mode have become evident,prompting the need to explore innovative educational methods.Digital art education is emerging as a means to offer a more immersive art experience through virtual and augmented reality technologies while broadening students’cultural horizons.Interdisciplinary integration combines art with science,engineering,mathematics,and other disciplines to cultivate students’comprehensive literacy and innovative thinking.The innovative spirit and the application of educational technology help students overcome difficulties and continuously improve their work.The article also emphasizes the alignment between art education and social needs,the importance of social support and resources,and the training and development of teachers.

Importance of Early Intervention and Special Educational Support for High School Students with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Aim: The present study aimed to investigate problems relating to education, past situations and treatments in high school students with attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and to discuss appropriate considerations. Methods: Participants were 6 students who were diagnosed with ADHD according to Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders IV, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR) criteria. Results: In total, 6 cases of high-school students with ADHD showed dominantly inattention features. They had notably not been diagnosed with ADHD or received appropriate special support education until they were of high-school age, although they had clearly shown characteristic features of the disorder from childhood. As a result, they had decreased motivation to study and showed indolence, and suffered from low self-esteem. Conclusion: This case report suggests that early diagnosis of ADHD and early intervention with special support education are of great importance. To support these students, better educational and medical support systems are warranted.

Impact of Labor Mobility and College Volunteers' Fixed-position Teaching Experience on Rural Households——Based on Survey Data about Teaching Sites and Volunteer Teachers

With the continuous deepening of reform and opening up,the gap between urban and rural areas continues to widen,and many farmers in rural areas have chosen to work in cities in order to get out of poverty. At the same time,in the context of the policy of precise poverty alleviation and rural rejuvenation,various helping and supporting measures for rural areas have also emerged. Supporting education in universities is one of the most important ones. With the Graduate Teaching Fellowship of Huazhong Agricultural University and the students and parents in the teaching sites as research objects,the impact of labor mobility and fixed-position supporting education in rural areas on rural families was explored in this paper using economics,sociology and other relevant theories and analytical methods. The results showed that labor mobility can promote the increase of rural household economic income. Outbound industries and regions have a major impact on the entire family development. However,the outflow of labor can also lead to various problems such as staying behind. The fixed-position supporting education in colleges and universities can,on the one hand,promote the improvement of the academic performance of the students in the teaching areas. On the other hand,it can help students develop good habits. Fixed-position supporting education of colleges and universities can be seen as a way to make up for the outflow of labor in rural areas. Combining the flow of labor force with the teaching support of colleges and universities can better promote the development of the entire family of farmers in rural areas.

Improving Language Skills for Learners in Vocational Education and Training from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds:A Lit⁃erature Review

The vocational education and training(VET)system helps people from culturally and linguistically diverse(CALD)back-grounds to integrate and settle into society.However,successful completion of VET is closely related to CALD learners’language skills.This literature review aims at identifying the main methods of language skills improvement for VET learners from CALD backgrounds.Five language support/training methods based on different theoretical models are also introduced in this literature re-view,including the model outlines and target groups.

A Feature Learning-Based Model for Analyzing Students’ Performance in Supportive Learning

Supportive learning plays a substantial role in providing a quality edu-cation system.The evaluation of students’performance impacts their deeper insight into the subject knowledge.Specifically,it is essential to maintain the baseline foundation for building a broader understanding of their careers.This research concentrates on establishing the students’knowledge relationship even in reduced samples.Here,Synthetic Minority Oversampling TEchnique(SMOTE)technique is used for pre-processing the missing value in the provided input dataset to enhance the prediction accuracy.When the initial processing is not done substantially,it leads to misleading prediction accuracy.This research concentrates on modelling an efficient classifier model to predict students’perfor-mance.Generally,the online available student dataset comprises a lesser amount of sample,and k-fold cross-validation is performed to balance the dataset.Then,the relationship among the students’performance(features)is measured using the auto-encoder.The stacked Long Short Term Memory(s-LSTM)is used to learn the previous feedback connection.The stacked model handles the provided data and the data sequence for understanding the long-term dependencies.The simula-tion is done in the MATLAB 2020a environment,and the proposed model shows a better trade-off than the existing approaches.Some evaluation metrics like pre-diction accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,AUROC,F1-score and recall are evalu-ated using the proposed model.The performance of the s?LSTM model is compared with existing approaches.The proposed model gives 89% accuracy,83% precision,86%recall,and 87%F-score.The proposed model outperforms the existing systems in terms of the earlier metrics.

从单一到多元:博士生职业发展多样化的现实需求及教育支持策略研究

博士生职业发展从单一到多元是社会发展的产物。从国内外现状看,博士生职业发展多样化缘于学术劳动力市场中精英学术岗位供需失衡、学术职位稳定性下降的“推力”与非学术劳动力市场中对高层次人才需求日益增长的“拉力”等现实因素的共同作用。然而,由于博士生学术身份固化下的择业取向单一、高校培养观念滞后下的教育支持单一、职业预期定向下的学生智能单一等问题,至今大多数博士毕业生依然囿于学术职位。本研究通过分析美国大学协会的“博士生教育倡议”项目实践,借鉴项目中试点高校通过理念更新、数据透明、机制革新、资源整合为博士生职业发展多样化提供教育支持的成功经验,针对我国博士生教育的实际情况,提出以“新定位”拓宽培养目标、以“数字化”打开求职渠道、以“强机制”助力个性化培养、以“广合作”推动资源整合等教育支持策略。

生育支持政策的权利之维——发达国家的实践及启示

关于发达国家的生育支持政策,从生育权利保障角度进行考察可知,这一政策体系具有“国家—个体”关系维度、以“国家—社会—个体”关系为基础的共同体维度的二维构造。前者以保障国民生存福祉为原则,以生育保障获得权和性别平等权为核心构造;后者以作为生育保障获得权补强机制的多元主体共同负担原则、婴幼儿的保育权为主要内容。生育支持政策鼓励生育的功能性目标,需通过上述权利的保障得以实现。从权利保障视域研究发达国家的生育支持政策,可以在基本理念、体系结构以及保障措施等方面为中国生育支持政策的建构提供借鉴与参考。

国内外智能玩具研究及其在游戏化学习支架中的应用综述

目的对国内外智能玩具研究现状、智能玩具在游戏化学习支架的研究异同进行比较分析。方法梳理总结智能玩具的研究脉络、定义与特点。以2000一2023年,国内外智能玩具文献(中文257篇,英文235篇)为研究对象,采用文献计量法结合CiteSpace软件,对智能玩具研究进行可视化对比分析,明晰国内外智能玩具的研究现状和热点趋势。运用内容分析法分析归类研究案例,探讨国内外在研究智能玩具作为学习支架工具时研究重点、研究方法等方面的异同。结论国外智能玩具研究相比国内更集中,但两者都没有形成核心作者群。国内外关注的研究方向存在相似性但具体的研究侧重点有较大差异,国内研究关注儿童玩具智能化的交互形式和体验,国外则更重视技术创新在有形玩具载体中的多元应用。在智能玩具应用于支架式学习的研究中,国内外的项目研究也呈现出较大差别,国外注重智能玩具与实际教学场景的整合应用,关注技术创新、特殊群体需求,以及对学习成效的定量评估。国内研究则更强调智能玩具在非正式场景下对学龄前儿童的学习促进和发展、智能玩具与儿童交互的方式和策略,以及对本土文化的融入。

乡村振兴背景下农林高职院校大学生志愿服务实践育人的优化路径研究

乡村振兴,人才是关键。农林高职院校肩负着为现代农业发展培养复合型高素质技术技能人才的重要职责。志愿服务作为高校实践育人的重要载体,在培养学生服务三农的责任感和使命感上具有重要的作用。本文以江苏农林职业技术学院“新禾助农服务团”为例,分析高校志愿服务实践育人的现状,探索符合农林高职院校大学生志愿服务的实践育人新模式及相关优化路径。

双向综合心理干预对唇腭裂患儿及其父母的影响

目的探讨双向综合心理干预配合健康教育对唇腭裂患儿的干预效果。方法选取2022年1月—2023年1月医院收治的60例唇腭裂患儿及其父母为研究对象,按照组间基本特征具有可比性的原则分为观察组与对照组,每组30例。对照组行常规护理,观察组在常规护理基础上采用双向综合心理干预配合健康教育的模式。对比两组患儿希望水平及心理状态,评价父母的社会支持状况及其精神症状评分,以及患儿、父母的生活质量。结果干预前,两组患儿希望水平量表评分比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,观察组患儿希望水平量表评分高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预前,两组患儿的汉密尔顿焦虑、抑郁评分及父母精神症状评分对比差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,观察组患儿汉密尔顿焦虑、抑郁量表评分及父母精神症状评分低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预前,两组父母社会支持评分对比差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,观察组患儿父母社会支持评分高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预前,患儿、父母的生活质量评分对比差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,观察组患儿、父母的生活质量评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论双向综合心理护理配合健康教育可改善患儿、父母的生活质量,提升患儿的希望水平,改善心理健康;提升父母的社会支持状况,缓解精神症状,对患儿的持续治疗起到保障作用。

高学历育龄人群三孩生育意愿研究

文章基于2021年中国综合社会调查(CGSS)数据,采用二元Logit回归模型、门槛效应模型和倾向值匹配(PSM)等方法实证分析高学历育龄人群的三孩生育意愿以及生育支持条件对其的影响。研究结果表明:高学历育龄人群的三孩生育意愿相对较低,平均只有14.1%的高学历育龄人群愿意生育三孩,而低学历育龄人群有18.4%愿意生育三孩。高学历育龄人群愿意生育三孩的比例与已育二孩的性别结构有关。已有两个儿子、两个女儿和一儿一女的高学历育龄人群愿意生育三孩的比例分别为12.3%、16.0%和13.9%。家庭收入水平对高学历育龄人群的三孩生育意愿有显著的正向影响,且存在显著的收入门槛效应。随着家庭收入水平的提高,家庭收入对高学历育龄人群三孩生育意愿的边际影响效应呈现出先增大后减小的倒“U”型关系,家庭收入水平对家庭收入为11万元-36万元的高学历育龄人群三孩生育意愿的影响效应最大,对家庭收入为11万元以下和36万元以上高学历育龄人群三孩生育意愿的影响效应较小。相对于没有托育服务的高学历育龄人群而言,政府而非市场提供低价优质的托育服务能够显著增强高学历育龄人群的三孩生育意愿。政策启示在于:一是提高中国育龄人群的三孩生育水平,不能把过高的期望寄托在高学历育龄人群,尤其是已育有两个孩子的高学历育龄人群;二是提高已育两个孩子高学历育龄人群的三孩生育水平,重点关注已育两个女儿且家庭收入为11万元-36万元的高学历育龄人群;三是降低高学历育龄人群三孩生育的直接成本和机会成本,加强生育支持政策评估,进一步完善高学历育龄人群的生育休假政策和生育三孩家庭的收入补贴政策,优化高学历人群的延迟退休政策,消除高学历育龄女性的就业歧视,仍然是激励高学历人群生育三孩的重要举措;四是政府主动承担婴幼儿的托育服务,为育龄人群提供低价优质的托育服务,能够达到事半功倍的三孩生育激励效应。
