The NAC transcription factor LuNAC61 negatively regulates fiber development in flax (Linum usitatissimum L.)

Flax is a crucial fiber crop that exhibits excellent textile properties and serves as a model plant for investigating phloem fiber development. The regulation of multiple genes significantly influences fiber development, notably involving NAC(NAM, ATAF1/2, CUC2) transcription factors in forming the fiber secondary cell wall(SCW).Overexpression of LuNAC61 in flax resulted in sparse top meristematic zone leaves and significantly reduced stem cellulose content. Scanning electron microscopy and staining observations revealed a significant reduction in fiber bundles. β-Glucuronidase(GUS) staining analysis demonstrated high activity of the LuNAC61 promoter in the bast fibers of the flax stem. Additionally, several members of the LuPLATZ and LuCesA families exhibited significant coexpression with LuNAC61. Subcellular localization indicated the presence of LuPLATZ24 protein in the nucleus and cytoplasm, LuNAC61 protein exclusively in the nucleus, and LuCesA10 in the nucleus and endoplasmic reticulum. LuPLATZ24 positively regulates LuNAC61, whereas LuNAC61 negatively affects LuCesA10, suggesting the involvement of a metabolic network in regulating flax fiber development. In conclusion, this study provides a critical opportunity for a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the mechanisms governing flax fiber development and the potential use of biotechnology to enhance flax fiber yield. 展开更多

Flax is considered to be one of the most significant dual-purpose crops for oil and fiber production in Egypt and worldwide.Biofertilizers have a substantial impact on various metabolic processes,including increased photo-synthesis,endogenous hormone levels,ion absorption,nucleic acid synthesis,and protein synthesis.These factors collectively contribute to the growth and development of plants.Therefore,this study aims to investigate how three biofertilizers(Algae extract,CMS as a by-product of yeast,and Metalosate multi minerals as amino acids)can enhance both the quantity and quality of flax seed yield under sandy soil conditions.Two field experiments were conducted at the Experimental Station of National Research Centre in Nubaria District,Behira Governorate,Egypt during two seasons(2021/2022)using a randomized complete block design(RCBD).The results revealed significant differences among all tested biofertilizers in terms of various characteristics studied in flax.Foliar application of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 mL/L resulted in an increase in seed yield(ton/ha)by 26.69%&19.89%,straw yield(ton/ha)by 8.08%&17.12%,and oil yield(kg/ha)by 47.72%&33.69%compared to the control group during both seasons respectively.Foliar applications of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 mL/L along with CMS at a rate of 5 m L/L and amino acids at a rate of 1.50 mL/L demonstrated significantly higher macronutrient contents(N,P,K),micronutrient contents(Fe,Zn,Mn),seed oil content,and protein content in flax seeds during both seasons.The highest values for seed oil content and protein content%were obtained through foliar application of amino acids at a rate of 1.50 mL/L.It can be concluded that foliar sprays with these bio-fertilizers effectively improved flax performance by increasing seed straw and oil yields,nutrients oil,protein and fatty acids seeds contents. 展开更多

Water stress is a critical environmental adversity that significantly impacts the growth,development,and yield of flax plants.In this study,flax seeds were cultivated under different water irrigation requirements(WIR)(100%,75%,and 50%)to investigate the effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide(NO)donor sodium nitroprusside(SNP)as foliar treatments at concentrations of 0.0 mmol/L,0.5 mmol/L,1.0 mmol/L,and 2.0 mmol/L.Drought stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth,photosynthetic pigments,yield components such as oil and total carbohydrate percentage.It also resulted in an increase in leaf H2O2 production,lipid peroxidation levels and activities of enzymatic antioxidants including polyphenol oxidase,superoxide dismutase,and nitrate reductase enzymes.However,foliar application of SNP improved photosynthetic pigments and antioxidant defense system which mitigated the negative impact of water stress on growth and yield productivity by reducing oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species accumulation.The use of SNP also decreased H_(2)O_(2) accumulation levels,lipid peroxidation levels,and improved membrane stability.SNP treatment at concentration of 2 mmol/L showed superior results compared to other concentrations with extremely significant increases observed in yield characteristics such as oil content,total carbohydrate percentages,and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio. 展开更多

Anthocyanin is an important pigment that affects plant color and nutritional quality.MYBs play an important role in plant anthocyanin synthesis and accumulation.However,the regulatory function of MYB transcription factors in anthocyanin synthesis in flax flowers is still unclear.In this study,402 MYB transcription factors were identified in the flax genome.These MYB members are unevenly distributed on 15 chromosomes.The R2R3-LuMYB members were divided into 32phylogenetic subfamilies.qRT-PCR analysis showed that seven R2R3-LuMYB genes in the adjacent subfamily of the evolutionary tree had similar expression patterns,among which Lu MYB216 was highly expressed in the petals of different colors.Moreover,gene editing of LuMYB216 in flax showed that the petal color,anther color and seed coat color of mutant plants were significantly lighter than those of wild-type plants,and the anthocyanin content of lumyb216 mutant plants was significantly reduced.Correlation analysis indicated that LuMYB216 was significantly positively correlated with the upstream regulator bHLH30.This study systematically analyzed the MYB gene family in flax,laying a foundation for studying the regulation of LuMYB216 in flax flower anthocyanin synthesis. 展开更多

The feasibility of a sustainable non-autoclaved cellular concrete,based on flax vegetable co-products,for the production of usable specimen in the lightweight construction field,has been investigated experimentally.The produced specimen,containing various volume ratios of flax particles with respect to preformulatd Tradical PF70 lime binder of 0,1,and 2,were lightened by creating a porous structure in the matrix through the addition of 0.3%wt.Aluminium powder(able to react with calcium hydroxide from the binder and result in microscopic air-bubbles).Fresh and hardened specimen properties,including hydration,fresh density,porosity,hardened density,compressive and flexural strengths,toughness energy,and dry thermal conductivity at different temperatures,were assessed for varying flax-to-binder ratios.Results have shown that the addition of Aluminum powder leads to restrain the setting time delay of binder-based lime.Moreover,the hardened material displays a significant decrease in specimen density,thereby resulting in a compressive strength level compatible with that required in the cellular construction materials sector.Results also highlighted the ability of added flax to induce a change in the specimen from brittle to ductile behavior.Moreover,a high degree of thermal insulation can be achieved,which makes the cellular specimen based on flax particle suitable as insulated-bearing walls material. 展开更多

AP2/ERF转录因子家族参与植物对生物和非生物胁迫响应的调控。前期我们从亚麻中克隆了一个WRINKLED1的同源基因LuWRI1a,蛋白序列分析发现,LuWRI1a包含2个AP2的DNA结合域,属于AP2/ERF转录因子家族。对LuWRI1a的顺式作用元件进行分析发现,pLuWRI1a包含响应光、干旱、低温和激素等多个非生物胁迫应激元件。本研究以亚麻栽培品种陇亚10号和LuWRI1a过表达转基因纯合株系为试验材料,用200 mmol L^(-1)NaCl营养液和25%PEG营养液模拟盐胁迫和干旱胁迫处理。结果表明,在盐胁迫和干旱胁迫处理后,转基因植株的相对株高、主根长度、侧根数目及叶片数均升高;3种抗氧化酶的活性均显著高于对照,而MDA含量低于对照;非生物胁迫响应基因LuAREB、LuDREB、LuLEA和LuNCED的表达水平均上调。通过探究LuWRI1a在逆境胁迫下的生物学功能发现,LuWRI1a通过抵抗盐胁迫和干旱胁迫对亚麻生长的抑制,增强活性氧清除能力、减轻膜脂的氧化损伤,激活逆境胁迫响应基因的表达等途径,增强了亚麻的耐逆性。综上所述,LuWRI1a可能是一个多功能基因,它不仅参与脂肪酸合成代谢途径,还有可能参与植物非生物胁迫信号途径。本研究为亚麻耐逆品种改良提供了新的基因资源。 展开更多

亚麻催化氧化与碱煮一浴脱胶工艺及其性能

使用棉纺系统进行亚麻纺纱前需经过脱胶处理,为解决传统碱脱胶工艺得到的亚麻纤维白度低和氧化脱胶时纤维易氧化受损、木质素残留造成纤维断裂伸长率低的问题,采用N-羟基-3,4,5,6-四苯基邻苯二甲酰亚胺(NHTPPI)催化氧化与碱煮一浴的方... 使用棉纺系统进行亚麻纺纱前需经过脱胶处理,为解决传统碱脱胶工艺得到的亚麻纤维白度低和氧化脱胶时纤维易氧化受损、木质素残留造成纤维断裂伸长率低的问题,采用N-羟基-3,4,5,6-四苯基邻苯二甲酰亚胺(NHTPPI)催化氧化与碱煮一浴的方法对亚麻落麻进行脱胶,研究了pH值,反应温度以及催化剂NHTPPI、助催化剂9,10-蒽醌、双氧水、氢氧化钠质量浓度等因素对脱胶后亚麻纤维断裂强度以及白度的影响,得到了NHTPPI催化氧化与碱煮一浴亚麻脱胶的最佳工艺:pH值为10.5,反应温度为83.6℃,NHTPPI、9,10-蒽醌、双氧水、氢氧化钠质量浓度分别为0.6、0.5、10.35、5.67 g/L,此优化条件下得到的亚麻纤维断裂强度为4.39 cN/dtex,白度为70.53%。将催化氧化与碱煮一浴脱胶、高碘酸钠氧化脱胶以及传统碱脱胶与双氧水漂白3种工艺进行对比,发现3种工艺得到的纤维主体长度在28 mm左右,白度均在70%以上,但催化氧化与碱煮一浴脱胶得到的亚麻纤维断裂强度最高,处理时间最短。 展开更多

为确定胡麻籽粒性状的积累动态和最佳收获期,优化胡麻品质育种和优质栽培技术,以1158-S、BISOW、陇亚10号、CHLH-99、38078为材料,研究胡麻种子发育过程中籽粒重要性状积累动态和变化规律。于开花后5 d开始取样,每隔5 d取1次直至成熟。... 为确定胡麻籽粒性状的积累动态和最佳收获期,优化胡麻品质育种和优质栽培技术,以1158-S、BISOW、陇亚10号、CHLH-99、38078为材料,研究胡麻种子发育过程中籽粒重要性状积累动态和变化规律。于开花后5 d开始取样,每隔5 d取1次直至成熟。取样后立即剥取种子,用于测定籽粒鲜重、千粒重、含油率、5种主要脂肪酸和木酚素含量。结果表明:随着籽粒的逐渐成熟,各种质的含水量、棕榈酸和亚油酸含量逐渐下降,依次于花后40、30和25 d达到稳定;籽粒干重、含油率、α-亚麻酸和木酚素含量不断增加,依次于花后40、35、35和40 d达到稳定。硬脂酸含量呈先下降后上升至稳定趋势,油酸含量呈先上升后下降再迅速上升至稳定趋势,说明胡麻籽粒棕榈酸和亚油酸的积累发生在始粒期,硬脂酸和油酸的积累主要在籽粒发育的中后期,而籽粒干重、含油率、α-亚麻酸和木酚素含量的积累发生在整个籽粒的发育期。各指标积累量正向影响最大的是籽粒干重和油酸含量之间,负向影响最大的是含油率和棕榈酸含量之间。要增大胡麻的含油率、ɑ-亚麻酸和木酚素含量就要尽量延长植物体内油脂、ɑ-亚麻酸和木酚素的合成时间或者增大它们前期的增长速率。花后40 d可作为胡麻重要品质积累最佳的收获时期。 展开更多

Synthetic reinforced composites affect the environment adversely and have become a global concern, causing increased natural composite demand for sustainability and cost effectiveness. Glass is a popular material that is highly consumed in reinforced composites for its superior mechanical strength. As opposed to that, flax obtained from flax stalks can be used as an alternative reinforcing material with synthetic fibers to minimize manmade fiber consumption. Hence, this research work addresses a few flax/glass-reinforced hybrid composites by using a thermoset polyester matrix. Here, six categories of samples are made, like neat flax, neat glass, and flax/glass fabric reinforced hybrid composite, followed by different stacking layer sequences and hand layout techniques during processing. Afterwards, the mechanical behavior, thermal stability, morphological behavior, and water absorption of hybrid samples were investigated. Among the developed samples, neat glass (NG) composite exhibits superior mechanical properties, while neat flax (NF) shows the lowest result. It is apparent that the mechanical properties and thermal stability of hybrid samples are in between NF and NG because, by adding glass with flax fabric, the strength of hybrid samples is increased. Moreover, it is noticeable that, due to multiple stacking layers of flax and glass, hybrid 3 and hybrid 4 show better strength than consecutive single stacking layers in hybrid 1 and hybrid 2. Among all hybrid composites, the H4 shows comparatively better mechanical and thermal properties due to having the glass layers on the outermost surface. In summary, this research work demonstrated the feasibility of flax fabric with glass fabric as a reinforced hybrid composite that can be used in automobile inner bodies, household furnishing, and home interior decoration. 展开更多

为科学准确地对2021年甘肃省胡麻品种区域试验白银试点参试材料进行综合评价,为胡麻新品种的登记和推广提供依据。采用描述性统计、相关性分析、主成分分析等多元分析方法对甘肃省胡麻品种区域试验白银试点的18份胡麻参试材料的千粒重... 为科学准确地对2021年甘肃省胡麻品种区域试验白银试点参试材料进行综合评价,为胡麻新品种的登记和推广提供依据。采用描述性统计、相关性分析、主成分分析等多元分析方法对甘肃省胡麻品种区域试验白银试点的18份胡麻参试材料的千粒重、产量等10个主要性状进行综合评价。结果表明,18份参试胡麻材料的生育期为109~113 d,与对照品种陇亚13号生育期差异不大。不同参试材料的各主要性状变异系数差异较大,介于1.34%~114.37%。对各性状进行相关性分析表明,株高与工艺长度、单株果数与主茎分枝数、单株粒重与单株果数均呈极显著正相关;单株果数与主茎分枝数、单株粒重与有效分茎数及主茎分枝数均呈显著正相关;有效分茎数和产量呈显著负相关。主成分分析表明,单株生产力因子、千粒重因子、株高因子和分茎因子的特征值累计达80.06%,能够全面地代表胡麻的特征特性。对产量进行的单因素方差分析表明,参试胡麻材料1310-6、0724-18、2009-1A-1、GFWK-03、H2011、D439、09-3-11的折合产量均显著高于对照品种陇亚13号(P<0.05),可进入下一步试验环节。 展开更多

为探究亚麻纤维素纤维对水泥砂浆湿度及基本性能的影响,该文采用两种不同长度(0.5 mm、5 mm)和不同掺量(质量分数分别为水泥的0.5%、1%、1.5%、2%)的亚麻纤维素纤维进行水泥砂浆流变性、力学性能、自收缩性能和内部相对湿度发展情况的... 为探究亚麻纤维素纤维对水泥砂浆湿度及基本性能的影响,该文采用两种不同长度(0.5 mm、5 mm)和不同掺量(质量分数分别为水泥的0.5%、1%、1.5%、2%)的亚麻纤维素纤维进行水泥砂浆流变性、力学性能、自收缩性能和内部相对湿度发展情况的试验研究,并通过凝结时间、抗压强度、收缩率和相对湿度来评价纤维素纤维对水泥砂浆的性能改善效果。结果表明:0.5 mm长度单位质量亚麻纤维的吸液倍率为自身重量的3.45倍,而5 mm长度下的吸液倍率为6.03倍。亚麻纤维的内养生作用对水泥基材料湿度补偿、收缩抑制及裂缝阻滞具有显著优势。在各养护龄期下,纤维掺量越大,抗压强度越小,在相同纤维掺量下,短纤维组的抗压强度均高于长纤维组。与基准砂浆组相比,短纤维对自收缩的抑制效果更明显。亚麻纤维掺量越高,内部湿度补偿越显著,且相同纤维掺量下,长纤维比短纤维的湿度补偿效果更优,说明内养生水量是补偿内部湿度的关键。 展开更多

为探索胡麻木质素代谢与抗倒伏性能对钾肥和密度的响应规律,以‘陇亚11号’胡麻为供试材料,设置施钾(K_(2)O)量(0 kg·hm^(-2)、60 kg·hm^(-2)、90 kg·hm^(-2)分别记作K0、K1、K2)和种植密度(6.0×106株·hm^(-2)... 为探索胡麻木质素代谢与抗倒伏性能对钾肥和密度的响应规律,以‘陇亚11号’胡麻为供试材料,设置施钾(K_(2)O)量(0 kg·hm^(-2)、60 kg·hm^(-2)、90 kg·hm^(-2)分别记作K0、K1、K2)和种植密度(6.0×106株·hm^(-2)、7.5×106株·hm^(-2)、9.0×106株·hm^(-2)分别记作D1、D2、D3)二因素随机区组试验,研究施钾和密度对胡麻茎秆抗折力、抗倒伏指数、木质素代谢关键酶活性、木质素含量及分布和产量构成的影响。结果表明,随着胡麻生育时期的推进,PAL、TAL活性迅速增加,在青果期达到最大值;青果期,各钾肥水平PAL、TAL活性较K0水平显著升高2.90%~16.78%、12.39%~33.72%,中密度D2水平下木质素含量较其他密度水平显著增加1.32%~14.01%,茎秆抗折力和抗倒伏指数均达到最大值,与其他密度水平差异显著;密度/钾肥互作条件下,生育后期,D2K1处理显著提高了木质素生物合成酶活性(TAL和PAL)和茎秆横截面积,促进了胡麻茎秆中木质素的合成积累,显著提高了茎秆抗折力和抗倒伏指数,籽粒产量显著增加15.67%~67.48%。相关性分析表明,茎秆抗折力和抗倒伏指数、茎秆抗折力和木质素含量以及抗倒伏指数和木质素含量在青果期均呈显著正相关关系。 展开更多

为进一步提高旱作农业区胡麻(Linum usitatissimum L.)抗倒伏能力和籽粒产量,本研究以胡麻品种定亚26为试验材料,于2021年通过田间裂区试验,研究了宽幅(10 cm)播种技术下增密(750、850和950粒·m^(-2))扩行(15、20和25 cm行距)对胡... 为进一步提高旱作农业区胡麻(Linum usitatissimum L.)抗倒伏能力和籽粒产量,本研究以胡麻品种定亚26为试验材料,于2021年通过田间裂区试验,研究了宽幅(10 cm)播种技术下增密(750、850和950粒·m^(-2))扩行(15、20和25 cm行距)对胡麻抗倒伏性和产量的影响。结果表明,随着胡麻种植密度的增加,植株株高和重心高度均增大,850和950粒·m^(2)分别较常规播种密度(750粒·m^(2))平均增加8.96%和9.13%,茎粗、单株鲜重、茎秆强度、抗折力和抗倒伏指数分别降低9.58%、18.08%、11.11%、34.30%和22.46%,差异达显著水平。在950粒·m^(-2)密度水平下,与常规条播相比,宽幅匀播有利于缓解胡麻株高的快速增长,增大茎粗,增强茎秆抗倒伏能力,其中10 cm幅宽处理下15和20 cm行距青果期茎秆强度、抗折力、抗倒伏指数分别提高1.71%和10.67%、6.58%和19.30%、13.62%和20.71%,且差异达显著水平;籽粒产量显著高出19.85%~30.46%,其中,20 cm行距处理下籽粒产量最高,达1884.44kg·hm^(-2)。综上,10 cm幅宽和20 cm行距配合950粒·m^(-2)种植密度有利于提高陇中旱作农业区胡麻的抗倒伏能力和籽粒产量。本研究结果为旱作农业区胡麻抗逆高产栽培模式提供了技术参考。 展开更多

轮作模式对旱地胡麻光合生理特性及其产量的影响

为探明不同轮作模式及茬口对胡麻光合生理参数和产量的影响,本研究基于2012-2020年的田间长期定位试验,以胡麻为主要研究对象,研究了胡麻→胡麻→胡麻→胡麻(FFFF)、胡麻→小麦→马铃薯→胡麻(FWPF)、胡麻→马铃薯→胡麻→小麦(FPFW)、... 为探明不同轮作模式及茬口对胡麻光合生理参数和产量的影响,本研究基于2012-2020年的田间长期定位试验,以胡麻为主要研究对象,研究了胡麻→胡麻→胡麻→胡麻(FFFF)、胡麻→小麦→马铃薯→胡麻(FWPF)、胡麻→马铃薯→胡麻→小麦(FPFW)、胡麻→胡麻→小麦→马铃薯(FFWP)、胡麻→小麦→胡麻→马铃薯(FWFP)和胡麻→小麦→马铃薯→小麦(FWPW)6种不同轮作模式下作物茬口、胡麻种植频率及连作年限对西北旱作区胡麻叶面积指数、SPAD值、光合势、净同化速率、光合特性及产量的影响,以期为优化旱作农业区胡麻种植制度和明确胡麻高产的光合生理机制提供理论依据和技术指导。结果表明:与连作相比,轮作处理下胡麻叶面积指数、SPAD值和光合势分别显著提高了8.11%~86.49%、3.54%~42.86%和10.38%~76.58%,小麦茬和马铃薯茬较胡麻茬显著提高,25%和50%频率较100%频率显著提高,且随连作年限缩短而增加,而净同化速率上升的趋势在现蕾期后逐渐显现。此外,轮作改善了胡麻光合特性,净光合速率和叶片水分利用效率分别显著提高了8.26%~106.00%和20.77%~51.84%(盛花期(F)WPF处理除外)。成熟期轮作处理下胡麻籽粒产量、非籽粒产量与总生物产量较连作分别显著增加了29.89%~109.59%,44.60%~111.90%和38.98%~111.01%,四年连作分别较两年连作显著降低了23.01%,30.85%和28.05%,且随茬口的更换、胡麻种植频率的降低而增加。相关性分析发现,胡麻地上部生物产量和籽粒产量呈显著正相关关系,二者与现蕾期和盛花期胡麻净光合速率、蒸腾速率均为显著正相关关系,与胞间CO_(2)浓度呈显著负相关关系,且盛花期相关系数大于现蕾期。综上表明,轮作有利于为胡麻创造良好的个体和群体光合作用能力,维持生育中后期较强的光合作用能力,增加光合产物积累,从而提高胡麻籽粒产量和生物产量,其中,胡麻→小麦→马铃薯→小麦为最佳轮作模式。 展开更多
