According to the coal or rock cutting theory, a mechanical model and computing formula for a pick and the drum load fluctuation model were established in order to obtain relationships between pick arrangements and drum fluctuation loads, drum rotary speeds and haulage speeds. Based on a minimum load fluctuation, an optimal mathematical model was established for drum pick arrangements. The effects of pick arrangements (including punnett square, sequence, aberrance Ⅰ and Ⅱ) on the drum load fluctuation coefficient are discussed. The relationships between the pick arrangements of the drum with different start vanes and the cutting load fluctuation coefficient, the drum rotary speed and haulage speed were also studied. The results indicate that the punnett square arrangement has a smaller cutting load fluctuation coefficient than other forms of arrangement and the drum with the 4-start vanes has the smallest coefficient. The drum rotary speed and haulage speed are affected not only by pick arrangements, but also by the number of vanes. 展开更多

Research on on-line diagnosis method of crack behavior abnormality in concrete dams can provide support for timely grasping abnormality state of the crack itself and achieving real-time monitoring of the dam safety.Considering that samples of crack effects in concrete dams increase actually over monitoring time,a superiority criterion for the on-line diagnosis is determined so as to detect the abnormality moments timely and reliably.By integrating the safety monitoring statistical model of crack effect variable with change point theory,a fluctuation method of regression coefficients is established for the on-line diagnosis.In addition,each abnormality moment is detected by the cumulative sum of regression model residuals.Results indicate that abnormality of crack behavior in concrete dams can be characterized by structural instability of crack monitoring model.And causes of crack behavior abnormality can be analyzed by the established method,which will play an important role in dam safety monitoring.Further,taking the crack in a concrete gravity-arch dam as an example,the scientific rationality and validity of the established on-line diagnosis method are confirmed. 展开更多

Measuring the pre-breakdown current of long sparks in air is important for investigating the discharge mechanism.Since the breakdown of long air gaps is conducted by a series of streamer-leader processes,the corresponding current signals cover a bandwidth of 0 to more than 20 MHz.Measurement accuracy of the current from the high voltage side is affected by the displacement current and impulse electromagnetic interference.In this paper,a coaxial current sensor with a DC bandwidth of 74.45 MHz is developed.A displacement current-restrained electrode structure is proposed to reduce the equivalent capacitance between the current sensor and the ground over 30 times.Combined with the digital optical fiber synchronous acquisition unit,a current measurement system for long air gap discharge is established.For the purpose of the UHV system’s external insulation optimization design,the discharge current waveform of a 6 m rod-plane air gap under positive switching impulse voltage with 250µs and 1000µs time to crest is obtained.Discharge images and stressed voltage are combined to analyze the continuous feature of a current waveform under critical time to crest impulse and discontinuous feature under long front duration impulse.For the purposes of a lightning protection study,the current waveform of a 10 m rod-plane air gap is subjected to negative switching impulse.Finally,the pulse characteristics of the current corresponding to the single channel and branching stepped negative leader are discussed. 展开更多
