Fokas系统是最简单的二维空间非线性演化模型.本文首先研究一种相似变换将该系统转换为长波-短波共振模型形式;然后基于该相似变换和已知的长波-短波共振模型的有理形式解,通过选择空间变量y的待定函数为Hermite函数,得到了Fokas系统的一个有理函数表示的严格解析解;进而选定合适自由参数给出了Fokas系统丰富的二维怪波激发,并可对二维怪波的形状和幅度进行有效控制;最后借助图示展现了二维怪波的传播特征.本文提出的构造Fokas系统二维怪波的途径可以作为一种激发二维怪波现象的潜在物理机制,并推广应用于其他(2+1)维非线性局域或非局域模型. 展开更多

Approximate Analytical Solutions to the Heat and Stokes Equations on the Half-Line Obtained by Fokas’ Transform

Our method is more accurate and efficient than the contou... In this paper, we evaluate the integrals that are solutions of the heat and Stokes’ equations obtained by Fokas’ transform method by deriving exact formulas. Our method is more accurate and efficient than the contour deformation and parametrization used by Fokas to compute these integrals. In fact, for the heat equation, our solution is exact up to the imaginary error function and for the Stokes equation, our solution is exact up to the incomplete Airy function. In addition, our solutions extend to the lateral boundary without convergence issues, allow for asymptotic expansions, and are much faster than those obtained by other methods. 展开更多

General Higher-Order Breather and Hybrid Solutions of the Fokas System

Fokas system is the simplest(2+1)-dimensional extension of the nonlinear Schr?dinger(NLS) equation(Eq.(2), Inverse Problems 10(1994) L19-L22). By appropriately limiting on soliton solutions generated by the Hirota bilinear method, the explicit forms of n-th breathers and semi-rational solutions for the Fokas system are derived. The obtained first-order breather exhibits a range of interesting dynamics. For high-order breather, it has more rich dynamical behaviors. The first-order and the second-order breather solutions are given graphically. Using the long wave limit in soliton solutions, rational solutions are obtained, which are used to analyze the mechanism of the rogue wave and lump respectively. By taking a long waves limit of a part of exponential functions in f and g appeared in the bilinear form of the Fokas system, many interesting hybrid solutions are constructed. The hybrid solutions illustrate various superposed wave structures involving rogue waves, lumps, solitons, and periodic line waves. Their rather complicated dynamics are revealed. 展开更多

Fokas system is the simplest(2+1)-dimensional extension of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation(Eq.(2),Inverse Problems 10(1994) L19-L22).By using the bilinear transformation method,general rational solutions for the Fokas system are given explicitly in terms of two order-N determinants T_n(n = 0,1) whose elements m_(i,j)^(n)(n = 0,1;1≤i,j≤N)are involved with order-n_i and order-n_j derivatives.When N = 1,three kinds of rational solution,i.e.,fundamental lump and fundamental rogue wave(RW) with n_1 = 1,and higher-order rational solution with n_1 > 2,are illustrated by explicit formulas from T_n(n = 0,1) and pictures.The fundamental RW is a line RW possessing a line profile on(x,y)-plane,which arises from a constant background with at t << 0 and then disappears into the constant background gradually at t >> 0.The fundamental lump is a traveling wave,which can preserve its profile during the propagation on(x,y)-plane.When N ≥2 and n_1 =n_2=...=n_n = 1,several specific multi-rational solutions are given graphically. 展开更多
