The Improving Effects of Diabetes Education on Diabetes Awareness and Management in Children and Adolescents with T1DM

Background: Diabetes education is crucial in empowering persons with Type 1 diabetes (T1DM) and their families to properly manage the condition by providing comprehensive knowledge, tools, and support. It boosts one’s belief in their ability to succeed, encourages following medical advice, and adds to the general enhancement of health. Objective: This study is to investigate the effectiveness of diabetes education in empowering individuals with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) and their families to effectively manage the condition. Furthermore, it strives to improve nursing care for families whose children have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM). Design: This research study investigates the efficacy of diabetes education in empowering individuals with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) and their families to effectively handle the condition. Materials and Methods: A systematic search was conducted between the years 2000 and 2022, utilizing the Medline and Google Scholar databases. The purpose of the search was to uncover relevant papers pertaining to diabetes education, management of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM), nurse care, and empowerment. The search focused on peer-reviewed research, clinical trials, and scholarly articles that evaluated the efficacy of diabetes education in empowering individuals and families. Results: Diabetes education is crucial for understanding and controlling T1DM. It includes personalized sessions, webinars, group classes, and clinics that provide customized therapies. Comprehensive education enhances glycemic control and family dynamics. Nevertheless, the implementation of diabetes education for families requires specific standards, especially in the field of nursing. Conclusion: Diabetes education is essential for effectively managing Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM), providing patients and families with crucial knowledge, resources, and confidence. It encourages independence in-home care and provides explicit guidelines for diabetic nurses to improve nursing care.

Education and Ecological Innovation Empowered by Technology:Innovation Practices in Inner Mongolia Universities

This study aims to conduct a thorough analysis of the core elements of educational innovation in Inner Mongolian universities and their mechanisms for enhancing educational quality.By examining technological applications,innovative teaching models,and the educational ecosystem,this paper explores the ways in which technological empowerment enhances students’learning experiences,the impact of innovative teaching models on educational quality,and the practical outcomes of ecological innovation theory in education.Additionally,relevant recommendations are provided for the future development trends of educational innovation in Inner Mongolian universities.

The effect of empowerment education on depression level and laboratory indicators of patients treated with hemodialysis:a meta-analysis

Objective:The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of empowerment education on depression level and laboratory indicators of patients treated with hemodialysis.Methods:We searched databases including Cochrane Library,Web of Science,Embase,PubMed,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Chinese Academic Journals Full-text Database(CNKI),VIP,and Wanfang.We included all the researches about the application of empowerment education in patients treated with hemodialysis.We used RevMan 5.3 to analyze the data after assessing the quality of researches.Results:We included 10 studies eventually.The results of meta-analysis showed that the self-efficacy[MD=1.10,95%confidence interval(CI;0.71,1.48),P<0.01],depression[MD=-6.94,95%CI(-8.53,-5.34),P<0.01],serum creatinine[Scr;MD=-116.46,95%CI(-171.90,-61.03),P<0.01],albumin[Alb;MD=2.93,95%CI(2.00,3.86),P<0.01],and blood urea nitrogen[BUN;MD=-0.95,95%CI(-1.89,-0.01),P=0.05]in the empowerment education group had significantly statistical difference compared with those in the usual education group.However,there was no significant difference in hemoglobin[Hb;MD=3.03,95%CI(-0.64,6.70),P=0.11]between two groups.Conclusions:Empowerment education can improve the self-efficacy in patients treated with hemodialysis,relieve depression,and improve Scr,Alb,and BUN.However,there is no significant improvement in Hb;it needs further exploration in clinical practice.

Efficacy of empowerment education in self-management with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus:A systematic review and meta-analysis

Objective:To evaluate the impact of empowerment education in self-management with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.Methods:A literature search was performed in PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Embase,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),WanFang Data,CQVIP and China Biology Medicine disc(CBMdisc)and for randomized controlled trials published before November 2018.RevMan5.3 software was used for metaanalysis.Results:A total of 11 articles were included,involving 1139 patients.The group of empowerment education included 574 participants,and the regular education groups 565 participants.Meta-analysis showed that the group of empowerment education has an advantage over the control group in the levels of self-efficacy[MD=17.55,95%CI(14.14,20.96),P<0.00001],self-management[SMD=0.85,95%CI(0.60,1.11),P<0.00001],as well as the effectiveness of short-term empowerment education(within 6 months)on reducing HbA1c(P<0.05);however failed to long-term empowerment education(beyond 12 months)(P=0.05).Conclusion:This meta-analysis indicates that empowerment education can be an acceptable and appropriated nursing intervention for type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.

Kidney health for all: bridging the gap in kidney health education and literacy

The high burden of kidney disease,global disparities in kidney care,and poor outcomes of kidney failure bring a concomitant growing burden to persons affected,their families,and carers,and the community at large.Health literacy is the degree to which persons and organizations have or equitably enable individuals to have the ability to find,understand,and use information and services to make informed health⁃related decisions and actions for themselves and others.Rather than viewing health literacy as a patient deficit,improving health literacy largely rests with health care providers communicating and educating effectively in codesigned partnership with those with kidney disease.For kidney policy makers,health literacy provides the imperative to shift organizations to a culture that places the person at the center of health care.The growing capability of and access to technology provides new opportunities to enhance education and awareness of kidney disease for all stakeholders.Advances in telecommunication,including social media platforms,can be leveraged to enhance persons’and providers’education;The World Kidney Day declares 2022 as the year of“Kidney Health for All”to promote global teamwork in advancing strategies in bridging the gap in kidney health education and literacy.Kidney organizations should work toward shifting the patient⁃deficit health literacy narrative to that of being the responsibility of health care providers and health policy makers.By engaging in and supporting kidney health-centered policy making,community health planning,and health literacy approaches for all,the kidney communities strive to prevent kidney diseases and enable living well with kidney disease.

以家庭为中心的赋能健康教育模式在剖宫产初产妇早期母乳喂养中的应用

目的探讨以家庭为中心的赋能健康教育模式在剖宫产初产妇早期母乳喂养中的应用效果。方法选取2021年11月-2022年1月在我院计划行剖宫产的初产妇及其照顾者93例作为对照组,采用常规健康教育宣教方法,宣教对象主要为初产妇本人;选取2022年3-7月在我院计划行剖宫产的初产妇及其照顾者98例作为观察组,在对照组基础上实施以家庭为中心的赋能健康教育模式。比较2组初产妇及其照顾者干预前后母乳喂养知识情况;干预前后初产妇婴儿喂养态度、母乳喂养家庭支持;干预后初产妇泌乳Ⅱ期启动时间和出院时纯母乳喂养率。结果干预前2组初产妇及照顾者各指标比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,观察组初产妇及其照顾者母乳喂养知识,以及初产妇婴儿喂养态度、母乳喂养家庭支持、泌乳Ⅱ期启动时间和出院时纯母乳喂养率方面均优于对照组(P<0.05)。结论以家庭为中心的赋能健康教育模式能提高产妇及照顾者的母乳喂养知识,提升婴儿喂养态度及母乳喂养家庭支持,缩短泌乳Ⅱ期启动时间,提高产妇出院时纯母乳喂养率。

现代职业教育体系下高职师资队伍建设研究

现代职业教育体系以立德树人为根本任务,以创新实践为内在动力,以高质量的师资队伍为重要依靠。但是在现代职业教育体系的建设及发展中发现,高等职业院校的师资队伍与高质量建设目标不相符合,具体表现在师德素养低,以及育人理念、方法滞后等方面。针对当前国内高职师资队伍建设的弊端,结合现代职业教育体系发展目标,从思政引领与科技赋能两个方面提出高职师资队伍建设的科学路径,以期通过系统化培养全面增强师资力量,以完善、高质量的师资队伍为现代职业教育体系提供有力支撑与保障。

以家庭为中心的赋能教育在代谢相关脂肪性肝病体检人群中的应用效果

目的:探讨以家庭为中心的赋能教育(family-centered empowerment education,FCEE)在代谢相关脂肪性肝病(metabolic associated fatty liver disease,MAFLD)体检人群中的应用效果。方法:选择2021年1月—2023年1月在武汉科技大学附属天佑医院进行体检的150例MAFLD人群,依据组间基线资料可比原则将其分为对照组(75例)和观察组(75例)。对照组给予常规护理,观察组在对照组基础上给予FCEE干预,比较两组干预效果。结果:干预后,两组肝脏受控衰减参数(controlled attenuation parameter,CAP)、肝硬度值(liver stiffness measure,LSM)均显著降低,观察组低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预后,两组自我效能感评分均显著提升,且观察组高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预后,两组生活质量各维度评分均显著提升,且观察组高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:FCEE在MAFLD体检人群中的应用效果较好,可降低MAFLD体检人群的肝脏脂肪含量,减轻肝硬度,提高患者的自我效能及生活质量。

中小学心理健康教育数字化平台建设评价标准的构建

科学建设心理健康教育数字化平台,是统筹推进心理健康教育与数字化技术深度融合、引领新时代学校心理健康教育服务高质量发展的关键一环。浙江省儿童青少年心理健康与危机干预智能实验室通过近二十年建设过程与实践探索,在浙江省各区县心理健康教育数字化实践中提炼形成《中小学心理健康教育数字化平台建设评价标准》,提出十一条评价标准,包括安全性隐私保护、基础性理论支持、无感化数据采集、精准化算法运行、自动化预警提示、自适应辨识调整、成长性科学研究、跨部门协同保障、丰富的课程资源、个性化智能推送、闭环式系统服务。旨在多维、全面地为数字化平台高质量建设提供参照体系,实现数字化平台建设的科学性、安全性、智能性,助力数字化心理健康教育服务高质量建设。

数字化时代高校思政教育正在走向智能化与数字化发展阶段,育人工作呈现互动性与精准性特征,故数字赋能高校思政教育是高等教育发展需要,也是大势所趋。了解数字技术发现其在高校思政教育中的融入,可提升思政教育的吸引力和感染力,但目前数字赋能思政教育时仍存在多元问题,加强对问题的针对性分析,加强科学化化解,营造数字化育人空间,将进一步提升高校思政教育价值,进而促进数字技术与思政教育的无障碍衔接。

授权赋能教育联合手术室人性化护理对胃癌手术患者心理复原力、癌因性疲乏及应对方式的影响

目的:探讨权赋能教育联合手术室人性化护理对胃癌术后患者心理复原力、癌因性疲乏及应对方式的影响。方法:选取某医院2022年1月-2023年1月收治的203例胃癌患者为研究对象,按入院时间分为对照组(2022年1-6月入院,101例)、干预组(2022年7月-2023年1月入院,102例)。对照组采用常规护理联合手术室人性化护理,干预组在对照组基础上联合授权赋能教育,比较两组患者手术康复指标、中文版心理复原力量表(C-CDRISC)评分、中文版癌症疲乏量表(C-CFS)评分、中文版医学应对问卷(C-MCMQ)评分、一般自我效能感量表(GSES)评分、生活质量量表(SF-36)评分及并发症。结果:干预组首次排气时间、首次下床活动时间、经口进食时间和住院时间均较对照组明显短(P<0.05)。与干预前比较,干预后两组C-CDRISC评分中的坚韧性、自强性、乐观性评分、C-MCMQ中的面对评分及GSES评分、SF-36评分明显增高,且干预组均明显高于对照组(P<0.05);干预后两组C-CFS评分中的躯体疲乏、认知疲乏、情感疲乏评分及屈服及回避评分明显降低,且干预组均明显低于对照组(P<0.05)。干预组并发症总发生率较对照组明显低(P<0.05)。结论:授权赋能教育联合手术室人性化护理应用于胃癌术后患者中,可明显缩短患者手术康复时间、提高心理复原力、改善癌因性疲乏和应对方式、自我效能感及生活质量,有效减少并发症的发生。

情绪释放疗法联合授权赋能教育在白内障高龄病人中的应用

目的:探讨情绪释放疗法联合授权赋能教育应用于白内障高龄病人中的效果。方法:选择2022年1月—2023年3月医院行手术治疗的80例白内障高龄病人为研究对象,依组间基本特征均衡可比原则分为对照组、观察组,每组40例。对照组接受常规干预,观察组在此基础之上加用情绪释放疗法与授权赋能联合干预,比较两组病人干预前后正负性情绪评分、疾病不确定感评分、生理应激指标与并发症发生率。结果:干预后观察组病人正性情绪评分高于对照组(P<0.05),负性情绪评分、疾病不确定感评分低于对照组(P<0.05),生理应激指标、并发症发生率低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:将情绪释放疗法联合授权赋能教育应用于白内障高龄病人中,有利于改善其负性情绪、疾病不确定感、生理应激指标,降低其并发症发生率。
