文摘As a part of quantum image processing, quantum image filtering is a crucial technology in the development of quantum computing.Low-pass filtering can effectively achieve anti-aliasing effects on images.Currently, most quantum image filterings are based on classical domains and grayscale images, and there are relatively fewer studies on anti-aliasing in the quantum domain. This paper proposes a scheme for anti-aliasing filtering based on quantum grayscale and color image scaling in the spatial domain. It achieves the effect of anti-aliasing filtering on quantum images during the scaling process.First,we use the novel enhanced quantum representation(NEQR)and the improved quantum representation of color images(INCQI)to represent classical images.Since aliasing phenomena are more pronounced when images are scaled down, this paper focuses only on the anti-aliasing effects in the case of reduction.Subsequently,we perform anti-aliasing filtering on the quantum representation of the original image and then use bilinear interpolation to scale down the image, achieving the anti-aliasing effect. The constructed pyramid model is then used to select an appropriate image for upscaling to the original image size. Finally, the complexity of the circuit is analyzed.Compared to the images experiencing aliasing effects solely due to scaling, applying anti-aliasing filtering to the images results in smoother and clearer outputs.Additionally, the anti-aliasing filtering allows for manual intervention to select the desired level of image smoothness.

文摘Rapid and accurate acquisition of soil organic matter(SOM)information in cultivated land is important for sustainable agricultural development and carbon balance management. This study proposed a novel approach to predict SOM with high accuracy using multiyear synthetic remote sensing variables on a monthly scale. We obtained 12 monthly synthetic Sentinel-2 images covering the study area from 2016 to 2021 through the Google Earth Engine(GEE)platform, and reflectance bands and vegetation indices were extracted from these composite images. Then the random forest(RF),support vector machine(SVM)and gradient boosting regression tree(GBRT)models were tested to investigate the difference in SOM prediction accuracy under different combinations of monthly synthetic variables. Results showed that firstly, all monthly synthetic spectral bands of Sentinel-2 showed a significant correlation with SOM(P<0.05)for the months of January,March,April,October, and November.Secondly,in terms of single-monthly composite variables, the prediction accuracy was relatively poor, with the highest R^(2)value of 0.36 being observed in January. When monthly synthetic environmental variables were grouped in accordance with the four quarters of the year, the first quarter and the fourth quarter showed good performance, and any combination of three quarters was similar in estimation accuracy. The overall best performance was observed when all monthly synthetic variables were incorporated into the models.Thirdly, among the three models compared, the RF model was consistently more accurate than the SVM and GBRT models, achieving an R^(2)value of 0.56.Except for band 12 in December, the importance of the remaining bands did not exhibit significant differences. This research offers a new attempt to map SOM with high accuracy and fine spatial resolution based on monthly synthetic Sentinel-2 images.

文摘Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by significant challenges in social interaction, communication, and repetitive behaviors.Timely and precise ASD detection is crucial, particularly in regions with limited diagnostic resources like Pakistan. This study aims to conduct an extensive comparative analysis of various machine learning classifiers for ASD detection using facial images to identify an accurate and cost-effective solution tailored to the local context. The research involves experimentation with VGG16 and MobileNet models, exploring different batch sizes, optimizers, and learning rate schedulers. In addition, the“Orange”machine learning tool is employed to evaluate classifier performance and automated image processing capabilities are utilized within the tool. The findings unequivocally establish VGG16 as the most effective classifier with a 5-fold cross-validation approach.Specifically,VGG16,with a batch size of 2 and the Adam optimizer, trained for 100 epochs, achieves a remarkable validation accuracy of 99% and a testing accuracy of 87%.Furthermore,the model achieves an F1 score of 88%,precision of 85%,and recall of 90% on test images. To validate the practical applicability of the VGG16 model with 5-fold cross-validation,the study conducts further testing on a dataset sourced fromautism centers in Pakistan, resulting in an accuracy rate of 85%.This reaffirms the model’s suitability for real-world ASD detection. This research offers valuable insights into classifier performance, emphasizing the potential of machine learning to deliver precise and accessible ASD diagnoses via facial image analysis.
文摘Highly turbulent water flows, often encountered near human constructions like bridge piers, spillways, and weirs, display intricate dynamics characterized by the formation of eddies and vortices. These formations, varying in sizes and lifespans, significantly influence the distribution of fluid velocities within the flow.Subsequently, the rapid velocity fluctuations in highly turbulent flows lead to elevated shear and normal stress levels. For this reason,to meticulously study these dynamics, more often than not, physical modeling is employed for studying the impact of turbulent flows on the stability and longevity of nearby structures.Despite the effectiveness of physical modeling, various monitoring challenges arise, including flow disruption, the necessity for concurrent gauging at multiple locations, and the duration of measurements.Addressing these challenges, image velocimetry emerges as an ideal method in fluid mechanics, particularly for studying turbulent flows. To account for measurement duration,a probabilistic approach utilizing a probability density function(PDF)is suggested to mitigate uncertainty in estimated average and maximum values. However,it becomes evident that deriving the PDF is not straightforward for all turbulence-induced stresses. In response, this study proposes a novel approach by combining image velocimetry with a stochastic model to provide a generic yet accurate description of flow dynamics in such applications. This integration enables an approach based on the probability of failure, facilitating a more comprehensive analysis of turbulent flows.Such an approach is essential for estimating both short-and long-term stresses on hydraulic constructions under assessment.

文摘Monitoring shear deformation of sliding zones is of great significance for understanding the landslide evolution mechanism,in which fiber optic strain sensing has shown great potential. However, the cor-relation between strain measurements of quasi-distributed fiber Bragg grating(FBG)sensing arrays and shear displacements of surrounding soil remains elusive. In this study,a direct shear model test was conducted to simulate the shear deformation of sliding zones,in which the soil internal deformation was captured using FBG strain sensors and the soil surface deformation was measured by particle image velocimetry(PIV).The test results show that there were two main slip surfaces and two secondary ones, developing a spindle-shaped shear band in the soil. The formation of the shear band was successfully captured by FBG sensors.A sinusoidal model was proposed to describe the fiber optic cable deformation behavior. On this basis, the shear displacements and shear band widths were calculated by using strain measurements. This work provides important insight into the deduction of soil shear deformation using soil-embedded FBG strain sensors.

文摘The frequent occurrence of extreme weather events has rendered numerous landslides to a global natural disaster issue. It is crucial to rapidly and accurately determine the boundaries of landslides for geohazards evaluation and emergency response. Therefore, the Skip Connection DeepLab neural network(SCDnn),a deep learning model based on 770 optical remote sensing images of landslide,is proposed to improve the accuracy of landslide boundary detection. The SCDnn model is optimized for the over-segmentation issue which occurs in conventional deep learning models when there is a significant degree of similarity between topographical geomorphic features.SCDnn exhibits notable improvements in landslide feature extraction and semantic segmentation by combining an enhanced Atrous Spatial Pyramid Convolutional Block(ASPC)with a coding structure that reduces model complexity. The experimental results demonstrate that SCDnn can identify landslide boundaries in 119 images with MIoU values between 0.8and 0.9;while 52 images with MIoU values exceeding 0.9,which exceeds the identification accuracy of existing techniques. This work can offer a novel technique for the automatic extensive identification of landslide boundaries in remote sensing images in addition to establishing the groundwork for future inve stigations and applications in related domains.

文摘Numerical simulation is the most powerful computational and analysis tool for a large variety of engineering and physical problems. For a complex problem relating to multi-field,multi-process and multi-scale,different computing tools have to be developed so as to solve particular fields at different scales and for different processes. Therefore, the integration of different types of software is inevitable. However,it is difficult to perform the transfer of the meshes and simulated results among software packages because of the lack of shared data formats or encrypted data formats. An image processing based method for three-dimensional model reconstruction for numerical simulation was proposed, which presents a solution to the integration problem by a series of slice or projection images obtained by the post-processing modules of the numerical simulation software.By means of mapping image pixels to meshes of either finite difference or finite element models, the geometry contour can be extracted to export the stereolithography model. The values of results, represented by color, can be deduced and assigned to the meshes. All the models with data can be directly or indirectly integrated into other software as a continued or new numerical simulation. The three-dimensional reconstruction method has been validated in numerical simulation of castings and case studies were provided in this study.

文摘Image processing networks have gained great success in many fields, and thus the issue of copyright protection for image processing networks hasbecome a focus of attention. Model watermarking techniques are widely usedin model copyright protection, but there are two challenges: (1) designinguniversal trigger sample watermarking for different network models is stilla challenge;(2) existing methods of copyright protection based on trigger swatermarking are difficult to resist forgery attacks. In this work, we propose adual model watermarking framework for copyright protection in image processingnetworks. The trigger sample watermark is embedded in the trainingprocess of the model, which can effectively verify the model copyright. And wedesign a common method for generating trigger sample watermarks based ongenerative adversarial networks, adaptively generating trigger sample watermarksaccording to different models. The spatial watermark is embedded intothe model output. When an attacker steals model copyright using a forgedtrigger sample watermark, which can be correctly extracted to distinguishbetween the piratical and the protected model. The experiments show that theproposed framework has good performance in different image segmentationnetworks of UNET, UNET++, and FCN (fully convolutional network), andeffectively resists forgery attacks.
