The purpose of this research is to show that Foaucault pendulum as well as other Coriolis effects, which are normally studied in a rotating coordinate system, can also be analyzed in a fixed reference frame. To this end, Foucault pendulum and other Coriolis effects are studied in inertial reference frames. The approach is simple, yet rigorous, and the results are exactly the same as those obtained in non-inertial reference frames but without resorting to some of the assumptions that are needed in rotating coordinate systems.

Grounded theory qualitative approach from Foucault's ethical perspective:Deconstruction of patient self-determination in the clinical setting

This paper aims to explain the construction of the autonomous subject from Foucault's ethical perspective for the qualitative analysis of interprofessional relationships,patient-professional relationships,and moral ethics critique.Foucault tried to break loose from the self,which is merely the result of a biopol-itical subjectivation and constituted an interpersonal level.From this,different elements involved in the decision-making capacity of patients in a clinical setting were analysed.Firstly,the context in which decision-making occurs has been explained,distinguishing between traditional practices involved in self-care and the more modern conceptions that make certain possible transformations.Secondly,an attempt is made to explain the formation of the medicalisation of society using the transformations of what Foucault called"techniques of the self".Finally,the ethical framework for a subject's"self-creation",insisting more on the exercises of self-subjectivation,reinforcing the ethics of the self by itself,the"care of the self",has been explained.The role of the patient is understood as an autonomous subject to the extent that the clinical institution and the professionals involved comprehend how the patient’s autonomy in the clinical environment is constituted.All these elements could generate grounded theory on the qualitative methodology of this phenomenon.The current ethical model based on universal principles is not useful to provide a capacity for patients decision-making,relegating to the background their opinions and beliefs.Consequently,a new ethical perspective emerges that aims to return the patient to the fundamental axis of attention.

A Short Vector Solution of the Foucault Pendulum Problem

The paper studies the motion of the Foucault Pendulum in a rotating non-inertial reference frame and provides a closed form vector solution determined by vector and matrix calculus. The solution is determined through vector and matrix calculus in both cases, for both forms of the law of motion (for the Foucault Pendulum Problem and its “Reduced Form”). A complex vector which transforms the motion equation in a first order differential equation with constant coefficients is used. Also, a novel kinematic interpretation of the Foucault Pendulum motion is given.

X-ray volumetric quantitative phase imaging by Foucault differential filtering with linear scanning

Non-interferometric X-ray quantitative phase imaging(XQPI),much simpler than the interferometric scheme,has provided high-resolution and reliable phase-contrast images.We report on implementing the volumetric XQPI images using concurrent-bidirectional scanning of the orthogonal plane on the optical axis of the Foucault differential filter;we then extracted data in conjunction with the transport-intensity equation.The volumetric image of the laminate microstructure of the gills of a fish was successfully reconstructed to demonstrate our XQPI method.The method can perform 3D rendering without any rotational motion for laterally extended objects by manipulating incoherent X-rays using the pinhole array.

在理论谱系上,韩炳哲的“精神政治学”思想承接福柯的“生命政治学”,生命政治学是表达工业资本主义治理的概念,精神政治学则是当前数字化资本主义的治理技术。精神政治学发明了“情感工业”“功绩社会”“自我剥削”三大治理手段,使资本主义实现更深层的社会控制与剥削。但韩炳哲对精神政治学的批判,没有为走出资本主义提供现实性的方案,他反倒认为革命在今天是不可能的。借助于詹明信的“认知测绘”视角,可见韩炳哲的革命悲观意识缘于其“批判”缺少严格的认识论维度,致使其深陷新自由主义的意识形态迷雾,无法划定出重建主体性及其与社会整体之间关系的正确方向。而鉴于“认知测绘”被詹明信归结为一种美学批判或文化政治的策略,其理论仍然具有乌托邦性质。为此,回到马克思主义的生产范式,以“认知测绘”重建历史唯物主义的批判方法,反思精神政治学批判的局限性,不失为一条可以尝试的道路。

The Inheritance of Hardt and Negri to Marx’s Thought: From the Critique of Political Economy to Biopolitical Critique

In the Empire Series,Hardt and Negri attempt to develop biopolitical critique to contemporary capitalist society.Hardt and Negri develop their own biopolitical critique based on their understanding of Foucauldian biopolitics.In the meantime,many arguments of biopolitical critique come precisely from Marx’s critique of political economy.Identifying biopolitical production as the hegemonic paradigm of contemporary capitalist production,Hardt and Negri accomplish the transition from the critique of political economy to biopolitical critique.However,such assertion does not mean a major rupture in the relation between the critique of political economy and biopolitical critique.On the contrary,it only implies an intertwined relationship between them.Moreover,if regarding Foucault’s discussion about political economy and biopolitics as a medium,then the conclusion can be made:There are overlaps between biopolitical critique and the critique of political economy,and the source of biopolitical critique can also be traced directly back to Marx.

一种游动傅科机械编排的捷联惯性间接极区导航算法

针对指北方位、游移方位等机械编排的惯性导航系统在极区附近出现计算溢出、导航误差发散、方向基准缺失等问题,本文提出了一种基于游动傅科机械力学编排的捷联惯性间接极区导航算法。首先,推导了传统坐标系和横向坐标系下的游动傅科机械编排位置、速度和姿态转换关系,并设计了完整的捷联惯性极区导航流程。其次,在详细分析载体沿经线穿越极点时的导航解算性能基础上,提出了一种游动傅科机械编排的捷联惯性间接极区导航算法。实验结果表明,该算法能够实现传统导航与横向导航方式的平滑切换,并借助横向导航信息解决载体穿越极点时无法导航的难题。

基于对34名不同性别花样游泳参与者的访谈,立足于福柯“层级监视”的理论框架,分析男性花样游泳运动员在发展自身柔韧素质过程中的哭泣行为,探究以传统花样游泳知识为基础的“他者监视”和“自我监视”对男性花样游泳运动员的影响及其作用路径。发现:“他者监视”和“自我监视”通过“羞耻效果”和“内在统治”两条路径使男性花样游泳运动员通过看似自主实则受到结构性束缚的方式,维系了传统花样游泳知识和传统男性角色行为规范对自身哭泣行为的统治;对男性花样游泳运动员哭泣行为的社会监视会随着社会成员逐步认识、认同和承认男性花样游泳运动员行为合理性而逐步消减。
