The survey found that 15% ewe of grazing group suffered miscarriage or premature birth,compared with the captive group ewes without this phenomenon. Blood test result shows that the free gossypol concentration in serum of grazing group was significantly higher than in indoor captive feeding group( P < 0. 01). In order to ensure the health of sheep grazing on cotton stubble and improve breeding rate,there is a need to do further reasonable research of grazing and feeding methods. 展开更多

The respective addition of 1 [ N (o hydroxybenzylidene)amino]tetradecane(TDCA), 1,2 di[ N (o hydroxybenzylidene)amino]cyclohexane(DACH), 4 [ N (o hydroxybenzylidene)amino]benzoic acid(PABA), 4 nitro[ N (o hydroxybenzylidene)]aniline(APNA) or N (o hydroxybenzylidene)aniline(APA) can all prolong the inhibition period of hemolysis, indicating that the above Schiff bases play an antioxidative role in free radical induced hemolysis. It can be concluded that Schiff base with an alkyl group or a conjugated system in the molecule protect red blood cells against free radical induced hemolysis efficiently. The high nitrogen content of this steel effectively maintains the austenitic stability and also contributes to the high levels of corrosion resistance and strength. BIOSS4 steel possesses a good combination of high strength and toughness, better corrosion resistance, and better blood compatibility, in comparison with the medical 316L stainless steel. A group of experimental rats under free radical damage are given various amounts of a lipophilic vitamin C(ascorbyl-6-laurate, VC-12), and its parent compound, vitamin C, respectively. It has been found that the effects of 1 12 mmol/kg VC-12 on decreasing triglyceride(TG), total cholesterol(TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c) and lipid peroxide(LPO), and increasing high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) are similar to those of 2 27 mmol/kg vitamin C. In addition, VC-12(1 12 mmol/kg) can increase the prostacycline(PGI 2) and decrease the thromboxane(TXA 2) even better than vitamin C(2 27 mmol/kg). The above facts demonstrate that the antioxidative activity of VC-12 is higher than twice that of vitamin C. So, ascorbyl-6-laurate may be a novel antioxidant drug against free radical damage. 展开更多

In this study, a method of measuring lipid peroxidation(LPO)in white blood cells(WBC)was reported. After the rats inhaled benzene in different concentrations (6.310\+9, 71.810\+9 and 459.510\+\{-9\} g/L) for 30 days and in concentration of 71.810\+\{-9\} g/L for 10, 20 and 30 days,indicators reflecting toxicity of blood free radicals such as leukocyte LPO, plasma LPO, erythrocyte superoxide dismutase(SOD), erythrocyte glutathione were measured. After 30 day administration, level of leukocyte LPO in all rats of the exposed groups was remarkably higher than that in the control group. Leukopenia occurred only in 71.810\+\{-9\} g/L and 459.510\+\{-9\} g/L groups. The level of leukocyte LPO also increased in 71.810\+\{-9\} g/L group 20 day administration group. Other biochemical indicators had no significant change. It was suggested that the decrease of peripheral leukocytes following benzene exposure might result from, at least in lipid peroxidation, toxic \{effectpart, membrane lipid peroxidation and the determination of leukocyte LPO level is more sensitive than leukocyte count. \; 展开更多

Blood plasma of 39 cancer patients who had not previously undergone anti-tumor treatment, and 21 patients with recurrent epithelial tissues cancer before treatment and after the first course of chemotherapy were investigated. The treatment effectiveness of patients with relapse was evaluated throughout the year. The control group was the blood plasma of 14 healthy people. Free radical activity and oxidative modification of proteins were assessed in blood plasma. In malignant neoplasms of epithelial tissues, free radical activity and oxidative modification of plasma proteins are significantly higher. At the initial stages of carcinogenesis, the oxidative modification level of plasma proteins increases both due to aldehyde and ketone carbonyl derivatives. In the terminal stage of malignant tumors, an increase in the oxidative modification of proteins occurs due to aliphatic ketone dinitrophenyl hydrazones, which are the markers of protein aggregation characteristic of the late stages of oxidative stress. In case of an objective response to polychemotherapy, there is a significant decrease in free radical plasma activity after the first course of therapy and a significant increase in carbonyl derivatives recorded at a wavelength of 230 nm, which can serve as a marker of its effectiveness. 展开更多

Resistive Factors of the Blood Flow and Energy Distribution in the Body

Purpose of the study is to identify the reason for the formation of the resistive factors in blood flow: inertial flow and turbulence in large arteries and increasing viscosity in the venous blood. Methods and Materials: Blood flow velocities were studied in the different sites of the large vessels in 35 normal adults (15 men, 20 women, age 21 - 49 years) with the use of Magnetic Resonance Angiography. Blood radiodensity (HU) was measured by the CT scanner. Blood flow pulsatility, resistivity indexes were carried out with the Duplex US. Results: Resistive and pulsatility indexes for the ascending aorta are 0.96 ± 0.07 and 3.14. ± 1.7, abdominal aorta 0.91 ± 0.07 and 2.7 ± 1.3, carotid artery 0.74 ± 0.07 and 2.04 ± 0.53, pulmonary trunk 0.74 ± 0.11 and 1.49 ± 0.37, inferior vena cava 0.32 ± 0.21 and 0.69 ± 0.37. Blood radio density (in HU) in the ascending aorta is 57.3 ± 3.5, distal thoracic aorta 25.7 ± 3.1, and inferior vena cava 59.3 ± 3.3. Pulsation of the peak velocity is expressed at the external wall of the isthmus of aorta at the end of systole. Conclusion: Heart energy is stored in the elastic deformation of the blood cells and arterial walls, in kinetic energy of the blood flow, entropy of the system. Inertial blood flow due to the frequency dispersion in the arteries, transforms to the flow with the high fluidity in capillaries. Gibbs free energy increases, enabling spontaneous chemical reaction to proceed across the cell membrane. Process is altered in the venous blood. 消化系统恶性肿瘤患者围手术期输注不同储存时间红细胞的效果分析

目的:探讨围手术期消化系统恶性肿瘤患者在输注不同储存时间地去白细胞悬浮红细胞后的效果和影响。方法:收集2020年6月-2023年6月期间东台市人民医院收治的110例已经确诊为消化系统恶性肿瘤患者的临床资料,均在围手术期进行了输注去白... 目的:探讨围手术期消化系统恶性肿瘤患者在输注不同储存时间地去白细胞悬浮红细胞后的效果和影响。方法:收集2020年6月-2023年6月期间东台市人民医院收治的110例已经确诊为消化系统恶性肿瘤患者的临床资料,均在围手术期进行了输注去白细胞悬浮红细胞的治疗,将输注储存时间≥14天去白细胞悬浮红细胞的患者纳入观察组(n=60),将输注储存时间<14天去白细胞悬浮红细胞的患者纳入对照组(n=50)。比较两组研究对象输血前后血常规、肝功能、电解质、凝血功能的变化。结果:观察组输血有效率为88.3%(53/60),对照组输血有效率为86.0%(43/50),两组研究对象在输血有效率的比较上无差异(P>0.05)。输血后两组研究对象的Hb、HCT相比较输血前均明显升高,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05),而PLT则无明显变化(P>0.05);输血后观察组与对照组的Hb、PLT、HCT比较无差异(P>0.05)。输血后两组研究对象的K^(+)、T-Bil、D-Bil相比较输血前均明显升高,Ca^(2+)明显下降,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);输血后观察组K^(+)、T-Bil明显高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。输血前后观察组、对照组PT没有明显变化,比较无差异(P>0.05),APTT上升,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);输血后观察组与对照组PT、APTT比较无差异(P>0.05)。结论:围手术期消化系统恶性肿瘤患者输注≥14天地去白细胞悬浮红细胞后地对患者血常规、凝血功能的影响较小,对K^(+)、T-Bil有一定程度影响。 展开更多

Blood cells are mainly(~99%)comprised of red blood cells.The most remarkable properties of are their high deformability,which allow they flow through microcapillaries of diameter even smaller than their size.The RBC’s remarkable mechanical properties originate from the unique architecture of its membrane.To study the mechanism of RBC’s deformability,a commonly adopted approach is to localize the cytoskeleton protein by immunofluorescence,followed by exploring the changes of cytoskeleton protein during cell deformation.During this process,the fixed treatment of RBC using GA and PFA is of great importance.However,RBC’s deformability is reduced by the fixation process and skeletal protein of membrane is changed accordingly.The flow behavior of red RBCs through the microchannel also changed.Given the difficulty of observing RBC flow in vivo,in vitro simulation by virtue of microfluidic devices provides a feasible alternative.An important physiological phenomenon of the blood flow is the formation of cell free layer(CFL),with RBCs show a tendency to concentrate towards the central axis of the pipeline and move faster than the plasma layer.However,this phenomena is weaken if the stiffness of the membrane increase,which occurs in some disease,such as hereditary spherocytosis and hereditary elliptocytosis.To study the effects of GA and PFA fix treatment on RBC deformability,a microfluidic platform is employed to measuring the CFL and flow velocity of blood flow in this work.The PDMS micro flow channel used is 100 micrometers in width and 50 micrometers in deep.The RBC suspension is fed into the flow channel by the injection pump(NE-1000.USA),and the experiments are observed and recorded by the inverted microscope(IX70,Olympus,Japan)and high-speed camera(Memrecam GX-1,NAC,Japan)system.Three GA concentrations,i.e.,0.000 5,0.000 75,and 0.001 wt.%were used.Meanwhile,the effect of PFA at a concentration of 2wt.%work with GA was also investigated.Images of the flowing RBCs are processed mainly based on Memrecam GXLink.The results show that,the diameter of the RBC be treated is bigger and the shape of the RBC is became more flat after treated.Some of RBCs lost their biconcave structure.When the RBC suspension with 5%Hct flow in the microchannel,the CFL thickness decrease after being treated.And with concentrations of GA increase,the CFL thickness become thinner.The CFL thickness decrease significantly when GA and 2 wt.%PFA work combined.The velocity of RBCs decreases after treated with the GA or/and 2wt.%PFA.GA is known to relieve the dissolution of red blood cells during fluorescence labeling.On the other hand,the crosslinking of the aldehyde group(-cho)of GA with the amino group(-nh2)of RBC membrane protein will change the conformation of the membrane protein and its visco-elastic properties in turn.Then,the transparent fluidity orrheology characteristics of RBC is altered.Since GA and PFA are commonly used to immobilize red blood cells and keep the fluorescence constant,and PFA works similarly as GA,as a result,the variation of membrane protein conformation is intensified,and the membrane becomes stiffer. 展开更多

Arsenic (As) and its compounds cause adverse health effects in animals and humans. Recently, it has been suggested that the pineal gland may also have antioxidants role due to secretary product other than melatonin. With keeping this view, pre-sent investigation tested effect of buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) pineal proteins (PP) on arsenic-induced oxidative stress in RBCs (Red blood cells) and kidney of rats. Methods: Eighteen adult female Wistar rats were grouped into group-I (Control), group-II (Arsenic control), and group-III (Arsenic + Pineal proteins). Experimental rats were given 100 ppm arsenic (p.o.) for 4 weeks alone or along with pineal proteins at a dose of 100 μg/kg body weight (i.p.). Results: Interestingly, arsenic ex-posure led to the stimulation of kidney catalase (CAT) activity, but inhibition of RBCs CAT activ-ity and significantly (P<0.05) increased the RBCs and kidney lipid peroxidation level (LPO). How-ever, arsenic treatment caused depletion of glu- tathione (GSH), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPx), and glutathione reductase (GR) in kidney tissues. In RBCs, only GR and CAT activity were significantly (P<0.05) declined. These changes were significantly (P<0.05) reversed by PP treatment in arsenic exposed animals. Conclusion: Therefore, present study indicated the significant protecting effect of buf-falo (Bubalus bubalis) PP against arsenic in-duced-oxidative stress through antioxidant de-fense systems in rats. 展开更多

无偿献血招募及血液采集工作中优质献血服务的应用分析 被引量:1

目的探讨优质献血服务在无偿献血者招募及血液采集工作中的应用效果。方法选取2021年2月—2022年11月于青岛市中心血站所属献血点无偿捐献全血的献血者中抽取600名为研究对象,依据入组时间不同分为试验组(2022年7—11月献血者,303名)和... 目的探讨优质献血服务在无偿献血者招募及血液采集工作中的应用效果。方法选取2021年2月—2022年11月于青岛市中心血站所属献血点无偿捐献全血的献血者中抽取600名为研究对象,依据入组时间不同分为试验组(2022年7—11月献血者,303名)和对照组(2022年2—6月献血者,297名)。对照组献血者接受常规献血服务,试验组献血者接受基于首因效应的优质献血服务。比较2组献血不良反应发生率及严重程度,以自制的问卷调查2组献血者对本次献血服务的满意度以及再献血意愿,统计2组二次献血率。结果试验组献血不良反应率(0.99%)低于对照组(5.05%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。2组献血不良反应以全身表现为主,均为一过性症状,未发生重度献血不良反应。试验组献血者对献血前等待环境、献血中献血环境、献血后休息环境、健康征询、体格检查、采血护理、献血反应处理、等待时间、献血内容告知、服务态度、宣传方式、饮食或纪念品的满意度高于对照组,献血者的个人再献血意愿与动员亲友献血意愿也高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。试验组二次献血率(34.32%)高于对照组(21.89%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论基于首因效应的优质献血服务在无偿献血招募及血液采集工作中的应用可以有效预防和减少献血者的献血不良反应,提高献血者对献血服务的满意度,提升献血者的再献血意愿及二次献血率。 展开更多

有关高龄育子和少子化的现状表明,男性生殖功能衰减带来不育风险的防治问题日益突出。男性生殖功能衰减与下丘脑-垂体-性腺轴、氧自由基、血睾屏障、生精细胞凋亡等因素有密切关系。中医认为,肾藏精,主生殖,生殖功能衰减与肾之阴阳失衡... 有关高龄育子和少子化的现状表明,男性生殖功能衰减带来不育风险的防治问题日益突出。男性生殖功能衰减与下丘脑-垂体-性腺轴、氧自由基、血睾屏障、生精细胞凋亡等因素有密切关系。中医认为,肾藏精,主生殖,生殖功能衰减与肾之阴阳失衡密切相关,运用补肾法可治疗肾虚导致的生殖功能衰减。补肾类方药通过系统调节下丘脑-垂体-性腺轴的功能,可显著延缓生殖功能的衰退;补肾类方药可清除体内过多的氧自由基,保护细胞免受氧化损伤;补肾类方药可通过维持血睾屏障而改善生精功能,并能调控生精细胞的凋亡。通过补肾改善肾虚所致生殖功能衰减的代表性方剂有五子衍宗丸、肾气丸、右归丸、六味地黄丸、左归丸及龟鹿二仙膏。这些方剂并非只针对单一机制产生效果,而是通过多途径、多环节、多靶点发挥治疗作用,综合调节机体内环境,以达到改善男性生殖功能的目的。中医补肾疗法在男性生殖功能衰减的治疗中发挥着不可替代的作用。深入研究其作用机制,可更好地指导临床实践,为改善男性生殖功能衰减提供理论依据。 展开更多
