Activities of space materials science research in China have been continuously supported by two main national programs.One is the China Space Station(CSS)program since 1992,and the other is the Strategic Priority Program(SPP)on Space Science since 2011.In CSS plan in 2019,eleven space materials science experimental projects were officially approved for execution during the construction of the space station.In the SPP Phase Ⅱ launched in 2018,seven pre-research projects are deployed as the first batch in 2018,and one concept study project in 2019.These pre-research projects will be cultivated as candidates for future selection as space experiment projects on the recovery of scientific experimental satellites in the future.A new apparatus of electrostatic levitation system for ground-based research of space materials science and rapid solidification research has been developed under the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.In order to promote domestic academic activities and to enhance the advancement of space materials science in China,the Space Materials Science and Technology Division belong to the Chinese Materials Research Society was established in 2019.We also organized scientists to write five review papers on space materials science as a special topic published in the journal Scientia Sinica to provide valuable scientific and technical references for Chinese researchers. 展开更多

Purpose: We present a systematic review of the literature concerning major aspects of science mapping to serve two primary purposes: First, to demonstrate the use of a science mapping approach to perform the review so that researchers may apply the procedure to the review of a scientific domain of their own interest, and second, to identify major areas of research activities concerning science mapping, intellectual milestones in the development of key specialties, evolutionary stages of major specialties involved, and the dynamics of transitions from one specialty to another.Design/methodology/approach: We first introduce a theoretical framework of the evolution of a scientific specialty. Then we demonstrate a generic search strategy that can be used to construct a representative dataset of bibliographic records of a domain of research. Next, progressively synthesized co-citation networks are constructed and visualized to aid visual analytic studies of the domain's structural and dynamic patterns and trends. Finally, trajectories of citations made by particular types of authors and articles are presented to illustrate the predictive potential of the analytic approach.Findings: The evolution of the science mapping research involves the development of a number of interrelated specialties. Four major specialties are discussed in detail in terms of four evolutionary stages: conceptualization, tool construction, application, and codification. Underlying connections between major specialties are also explored. The predictive analysis demonstrates citations trajectories of potentially transformative contributions.Research limitations: The systematic review is primarily guided by citation patterns in the dataset retrieved from the literature. The scope of the data is limited by the source of the retrieval, i.e. the Web of Science, and the composite query used. An iterative query refinement is possible if one would like to improve the data quality, although the current approach serves our purpose adequately. More in-depth analyses of each specialty would be more revealing by incorporating additional methods such as citation context analysis and studies of other aspects of scholarly publications.Practical implications: The underlying analytic process of science mapping serves many practical needs, notably bibliometric mapping, knowledge domain visualization, and visualization of scientific literature. In order to master such a complex process of science mapping, researchers often need to develop a diverse set of skills and knowledge that may span multiple disciplines. The approach demonstrated in this article provides a generic method for conducting a systematic review.Originality/value: Incorporating the evolutionary stages of a specialty into the visual analytic study of a research domain is innovative. It provides a systematic methodology for researchers to achieve a good understanding of how scientific fields evolve, to recognize potentially insightful patterns from visually encoded signs, and to synthesize various information so as to capture the state of the art of the domain. 展开更多

The Strategic Priority Program on Space Science in 2011–2017(hereafter referred to as SPP Ⅰ),which officially went ahead in 2011, marks that a new chapter of Chinese space endeavor has been opened.The 4 satellites, Wukong/DAMPE, SJ-10, Mozi/QUESS and Insight/HXMT, has been achieving promising scientific results since their launch, e.g., Wukong directly detected a break in the teraelectronvolt cosmic-ray spectrum of electrons and positrons. To enable the sustainable development of China's space science endeavor,the Strategic Priority Program Ⅱ on Space Science(hereafter referred to as SPP Ⅱ) was officially approved in late 2017. SPP Ⅱ includes 4 satellites—EP, ASO-S, SMILE and GECAM, Intensive Study of Future Space Science Missions, Advanced Research of Space Science Missions and Payloads, Space Science Mission Concept Research, and Data Analysis Research. Dedicated to exploring the unknown, the program is aiming to address scientific questions such as the origin and evolution of the universe and life, search for extraterrestrial life,and the impact of the Sun and the solar system on Earth and human development. The survivability of computer systems should be guaranteed in order to improve its operation efficiency,especially for the efficiency of its critical functions.This paper proposes a decentralized mechanism based on Software-Defined Architecture(SDA).The concepts of critical functions and critical states are defined,and then,the critical functional parameters of the target system are collected and analyzed.Experiments based on the analysis results are performed for reconfiguring the implementations of the whole system.A formal model is presented for analyzing and improving the survivability of the system,and the problem investigated in this paper is reduced to an optimization problem for increasing the system survival time. 展开更多

As an important part of urban open space,campus space plays an important role in connecting urban traffic environment with the gradual improvement of urban space quality today.Based on CSOA(Campus Space Openness Assessment)theory,the paper calculates the current situation of walking space and vehicle crossing space in the campus,including entrance coupling degree(ξ),campus crossing degree(ε)and campus space opening degree(∑).The coupling relationship between campus entrance layout and campus road form for campus space openness is analyzed and the strategies are optimized respectively.The conclusions are as follows:①the location of campus entrances and exits can be reflected by the coupling degree of campus entrance,which is affected by the number and nodes,and the coupling degree is positively correlated with the number;②the closer the azimuth distance between the two entrances and exits on the campus to the linear distance,the higher the crossing rate;③the higher the product of campus entrance coupling degree and campus crossing degree,the higher the campus space opening degree.The results of this study provide quantitative guidance for modern campus design from the perspective of open campus space evaluation system. 展开更多
