On Fuzzy Regularly Closed Filters in Michálek Fuzzy Topological Space

However, Chang’s work appears to focus more on the topology of fuzzy sets rather than fuzzy topology itself. In 1975, Michálek presented a functional definition of ordinary topology and later developed fuzzy topology as a distinct extension of this idea, setting it apart from Chang’s approach. While there has been significant research on Chang’s fuzzy topology, Michálek’s version has not received as much attention. This paper introduces the concept of fuzzy regularly closed filters, or FRCM filters, within Michálek’s fuzzy topological space and explores some properties of FRCM ultrafilters. 展开更多

This paper is concerned with the non-fragile H∞ filter design problem for uncertain discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with time delay. To begin with, the T-S fuzzy system is transformed to an equivalent switching fuzzy system. Then, based on the piecewise Lyapunov function and matrix decoupling technique, a new delay-dependent non-fragile H∞ filtering method is proposed for the switching fuzzy system. The proposed condition is less conservative than the previous results. Since only a set of LMIs is involved, the filter parameters can be solved directly. Finally, a design example is provided to illustrate the validity of the proposed method. 展开更多

In order to keep stable navigation accuracy when the blind node (BN) moves between two adjacent clusters, a distributed fusion method for the integration of the inertial navigation system (INS) and the wireless sensor network (WSN) based on H∞ filtering is proposed. Since the process and measurement noise in the integration system are bounded and their statistical characteristics are unknown, the H∞ filter is used to fuse the information measured from local estimators in the proposed method. Meanwhile, the filter can yield the optimal state estimate according to certain information fusion criteria. Simulation results show that compared with the federal Kalman solution, the proposed method can reduce the mean error of position by about 45% and the mean error of velocity by about 85 %. 展开更多

A novel H∞ tracking-based decentralized indirect adaptive output feedback fuzzy controller for a class of uncertain large-scale nonlinear systems is developed. By virtue of the proper filtering of the observation error dynamics, the observer-based decentralized indirect adaptive fuzzy control scheme is presented for a class of large-scale nonlinear systems using the combination of H∞ tracking technique, a fuzzy adaptive observer and fuzzy inference systems. The output feedback and adaptation mechanisms are both robust and implementable indeed owing to their freedom from the unavailable observation error vector. All the signals of the closed-loop largescale system are guaranteed to stay uniformly bounded and the output errors take on H∞ tracking performance. This article considers delay dependent decentralized H∞ filtering for a class of uncertain interconnected systems, where the uncertainties are assumed to be time varying and satisfy the norm-bounded conditions. First, combining the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach and the delay integral inequality of matrices, a sufficient condition of the existence of the robust decentralized H∞ filter is derived, which makes the error systems asymptotically stable and satisfies the H∞ norm of the transfer function from noise input to error output less than the specified up-bound on the basis of the form of uncertainties. Then, the above sufficient condition is transformed to a system of easily solvable LMIs via a series of equivalent transformation. As a result Active power filter (APF) gains much more attention due to excellent harmonic compensation. But still the performance of the active filter seems to be in contradictions with different control strategies. This paper presents detailed analysis to compare and elevate the performance of two control strategies for ex-tracting reference currents of shunt active filters under balanced, un-balanced and non-sinusoidal conditions by using Fuzzy controller. The well known methods, instantaneous real active and reactive power method (p-q) and active and reactive current method (id-iq) are two control methods which are extensively used in active filters. Extensive Simulations are carried out with fuzzy controller for both p-q and Id-Iq methods for different voltage conditions and adequate results were presented. Simulation results validate the superior per-formance of active and reactive current control strategy (id-iq) with fuzzy controller over active and reactive power control strategy (p-q) with fuzzy controller. 展开更多

In this article,the problem of state estimation is addressed for discrete-time nonlinear systems subject to additive unknown-but-bounded noises by using fuzzy set-membership filtering.First,an improved T-S fuzzy model is introduced to achieve highly accurate approximation via an affine model under each fuzzy rule.Then,compared to traditional prediction-based ones,two types of fuzzy set-membership filters are proposed to effectively improve filtering performance,where the structure of both filters consists of two parts:prediction and filtering.Under the locally Lipschitz continuous condition of membership functions,unknown membership values in the estimation error system can be treated as multiplicative noises with respect to the estimation error.Real-time recursive algorithms are given to find the minimal ellipsoid containing the true state.Finally,the proposed optimization approaches are validated via numerical simulations of a one-dimensional and a three-dimensional discrete-time nonlinear systems. 展开更多

This paper researches the digital voltage regulator. The paper presents the hardware platform of the digital voltage regulator, which is based on a DSP chip — TMS320C32. A novel fuzzy filter control structure is developed from normal fuzzy control strategy. And the fuzzy filter control algorithm is adopted in the hardware platform successfully. The computer simulation has been conducted. Some control parameters have been obtained through the simulation. The same parameters have been applied in the digital regulation experiments on a brushless AC generator. In the experiment, the digital voltage regulator results in good responses. From the experiment results, it can be seen that the new control algorithm is efficient for the digital voltage regulator. 展开更多

There are many filtering methods that can be used for the initial alignment of an integrated inertial navigation system. This paper discussed the use of GPS, but focused on two kinds of filters for the initial alignment of an integrated strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS). One method is based on the Kalman filter (KF), and the other is based on the robust filter. Simulation results showed that the filter provides a quick transient response and a little more accurate estimate than KF, given substantial process noise or unknown noise statistics. So the robust filter is an effective and useful method for initial alignment of SINS. This research should make the use of SINS more popular, and is also a step for further research. 展开更多

For all admissible uncertainties and delays, the controller guarantees not only the asymptotic stability of the system but also the prescribed H∞ attenuation level. The aging prediction of railway catenary is of profound significance for ensuring the regular operation of electrified trains.However,in real-world scenarios,accurate predictions are challenging due to various interferences.This paper addresses this challenge by proposing a novel method for predicting the aging of railway catenary based on an improved Kalman filter(KF).The proposed method focuses on modifying the priori state estimate covariance and measurement error covariance of the KF to enhance accuracy in complex environments.By comparing the optimal displacement value with the theoretically calculated value based on the thermal expansion effect of metals,it becomes possible to ascertain the aging status of the catenary.To improve prediction accuracy,a railway catenary aging prediction model is constructed by integrating the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy neural network(FNN)and KF.In this model,an adaptive training method is introduced,allowing the FNN to use fewer fuzzy rules.The inputs of the model include time,temperature,and historical displacement,while the output is the predicted displacement.Furthermore,the KF is enhanced by modifying its prior state estimate covariance and measurement error covariance.These modifications contribute to more accurate predictions.Lastly,a low-power experimental platform based on FPGA is implemented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.The test results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms the compared method,showcasing its superior performance. 展开更多

In this paper, the robust fault detection filter (RFDF) design problems are studied for nonlinear time-delay systems with unknown inputs. First, a reference residual model is introduced to formulate the RFDF design problem as an H∞ model-matching problem. Then appropriate input/output selection matrices are introduced to extend a performance index to the time-delay systems in time domain. The reference residual model designed according to the performance index is an optimal residual generator, which takes into account the robustness against disturbances and sensitivity to faults simultaneously. Applying robust H∞ optimization control technique, the existence conditions of the RFDF for nonlinear time-delay systems with unknown inputs are presented in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation, independently of time delay. Considering the soft constraint characteristics of voltage constraints, the Interior-Point Filter Algorithm is applied to solve the formulation of fuzzy model for the power system reactive power optimization with a large number of equality and inequality constraints. Based on the primal-dual interior-point algorithm, the algorithm maintains an updating “filter” at each iteration in order to decide whether to admit correction of iteration point which can avoid effectively oscillation due to the conflict between the decrease of objective function and the satisfaction of constraints and ensure the global convergence. Moreover, the “filter” improves computational efficiency because it filters the unnecessary iteration points. The calculation results of a practical power system indicate that the algorithm can effectively deal with the large number of inequality constraints of the fuzzy model of reactive power optimization and satisfy the requirement of online calculation which realizes to decrease the network loss and maintain specified margins of voltage. 展开更多

Pure inertial navigation system(INS) has divergent localization errors after a long time. In order to compensate the disadvantage, wireless sensor network(WSN) associated with the INS was applied to estimate the mobile target positioning. Taking traditional Kalman filter(KF) as the framework, the system equation of KF was established by the INS and the observation equation of position errors was built by the WSN. Meanwhile, the observation equation of velocity errors was established by the velocity difference between the INS and WSN, then the covariance matrix of Kalman filter measurement noise was adjusted with fuzzy inference system(FIS), and the fuzzy adaptive Kalman filter(FAKF) based on the INS/WSN was proposed. The simulation results show that the FAKF method has better accuracy and robustness than KF and EKF methods and shows good adaptive capacity with time-varying system noise. Finally, experimental results further prove that FAKF has the fast convergence error, in comparison with KF and EKF methods. 展开更多
