Pile foundations are still the preferred foundation system for high-rise structures in earthquake-prone regions.Pile foundations have experienced failures in past earthquakes due to liquefaction.Research on pile foundations in liquefiable soils has primarily focused on the pile foundation behavior in two or three-layered soil profiles.However,in natural occurrence,it may occur in alternative layers of liquefiable and non-liquefiable soil.However,the experimental and/or numerical studies on the layered effect on pile foundations have not been widely addressed in the literature.Most of the design codes across the world do not explicitly mention the effect of sandwiched non-liquefiable soil layers on the pile response.In the present study,the behavior of an end-bearing pile in layered liquefiable and non-liquefiable soil deposit is studied numerically.This study found that the kinematic bending moment is higher and governs the design when the effect of the sandwiched non-liquefied layer is considered in the analysis as opposed to when its effect is ignored.Therefore,ignoring the effect of the sandwiched non-liquefied layer in a liquefiable soil deposit might be a nonconservative design approach. 展开更多

Searching alternative feed antibiotics is always a study hotspot in the field of animal production. In this study, the antipathogenic activities and probiotics stimulatory effects of 30 kinds of herbs were screened through Oxford cup method and Hungate roll method. 15 herbs showed significantly antibacterial activities(P〈0.05) against Escherichia coli, Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium and Staphylococcus aureus. Seven herbs showed greatly stimulatory promoting effects on Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum. Finally, five herbs were combined for the developed formulation with selective antibacterial properties and they were Mume Fructus(35%), Isatidis Folium(25%), Moslae Herba(20%), Chrysanthemi Indici Flos(13%) and Bupleuri Radix(7%). The herbal formulation showed significantly antibacterial abilities against four pathogens and stimulatory promoting abilities on two probiotics in vitro and the equivalent activities in broiler chickens in vivo against E. coli and L. acidophilus. The toxicity study showed it had no toxicity, which indicated that it would be a kind of preferred candidate for an alternative antibiotic in future animal production. 展开更多

The present work concerns the study of solvent effects on the geometrical structures, as well as one- and two-photon absorption (TPA) processes, for two series of alkyne and alkene π-bridging molecules, within the framework of the polarization continuum model. Particular emphasis was put on the characterization of solvent effects on the molecular geometrical structures and geometric distortion, which were measured by the bond-length-alternation parameter. The π centres in the compounds are seen to play a decisive role in increasing the TPA cross section and nonlinear optical properties. All studied molecules have relatively strong TPA characteristics, while the alkyne π-bridging ones yield larger TPA cross sections. 展开更多

In this article, an organic thin-film field-effect transistor (OTFFET) with top-gate and bottom-contact geometry based on pentacene as the active layer is fabricated. The experimental data of the I-V are obtained from the OTFFET device. The alternating-current (AC) resistance value of the OTFFET device is calculated using the derivation method from the experimental data, and the AC resistance trend curves of the OTFFET device are obtained with the region fitting method. We analyse the characteristics of the OTFFET device with an AC resistance trend curve. To discover whether it has a high resistance, it is proposed to judge the region of the source/drain voltage (VDs) less than the transition voltage, thereby determining whether the contact between the metal electrode and the organic semiconductor layer of the OTFFET device is Ohmic or non-Ohmic. The theoretical analysis shows that the field-effect mobility and the AC resistance are in reverse proportion. Therefore, we point out that reducing AC resistance is necessary if field-effect mobility is to be improved. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein A1(hnRNPA1)has been reported to enhance the Warburg effect and promote colon cancer(CC)cell proliferation,but the role and mechanism of the miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in CC have not yet been elucidated.AIM To investigate the role and mechanism of a novel miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in enhancing the Warburg effect and promoting CC cell proliferation through the PI3K/AKT pathway.METHODS Paraffin-embedded pathological sections from 220 CC patients were collected and subjected to immunohistochemical analysis to determine the expression of hnRNPA1-b.The relationship between the expression values and the clinicopathological features of the patients was investigated.Differences in mRNA expression were analyzed using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,while differences in protein expression were analyzed using western blot.Cell proliferation was evaluated using the cell counting kit-8 and 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine assays,and cell cycle and apoptosis were detected using flow cytometric assays.The targeted binding of miR-490-3p to hnRNPA1-b was validated using a dual luciferase reporter assay.The Warburg effect was evaluated by glucose uptake and lactic acid production assays.RESULTS The expression of hnRNPA1-b was significantly increased in CC tissues and cells compared to normal controls(P<0.05).Immunohistochemical results demonstrated significant variations in the expression of the hnRNPA1-b antigen in different stages of CC,including stage I,II-III,and IV.Furthermore,the clinicopathologic characterization revealed a significant correlation between hnRNPA1-b expression and clinical stage as well as T classification.HnRNPA1-b was found to enhance the Warburg effect through the PI3K/AKT pathway,thereby promoting proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 cells.However,the proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 cells was inhibited when miR-490-3p targeted and bound to hnRNPA1-b,effectively blocking the Warburg effect.CONCLUSION These findings suggest that the novel miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis could provide a new strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of CC. 展开更多

Dicofol was listed by International POPs Elimination Network (IPEN) as requiring immediate and urgent considera-tion and thus was considered as a new candidate by Persistent Organic Pollutant Review Committee (POPRC) as a possible persistent organic pollutant (POP). Dicofol is structurally similar to DDT. It is persistent in food and water, highly toxic to aquatic life and causes egg-shell thinning in some bird species. High concern, due to the lack of dicofol measurements in the Arctic, proving long range transport and bioaccumulation in wild life species, supports further impact assessment of this product. Under Stockholm Convention, substances identified as POPs are regulated with the objective to protect the environment and the human health. According to this objective, the search of environmental and healthy alternatives is helpful. This paper discusses the use of three groups of chemicals currently applied as alternatives to dicofol. An exhaustive review of the synthesis of dicofol, starting from DDT, and compared to possible substitutes is presented: 1) active principle with fluoralkenyl are proposed as an environmental and healthy alternative to dicofol, 2) inhibitor agents of mitochondrial electron transport as chlorfenapyr, hydramethylnon and pyridaben and 3) pesticides commonly applied in agricultural practices as oxythioquinox, fenbutatin-oxide and formetanate hydrochloride. 展开更多

The perturbation method is used to study the localization of electric field distribution and the effective nonlinear response of graded composites under an external alternating-current(AC) and direct-current(DC) electric field E app = E 0(1 + sin ωt).The dielectric profile of the cylindrical inclusions is modeled by function ε i(r) = C k r k(r ≤ a),where r is the radius of the cylindrical inclusion,and C k,k,a are parameters.In the dilute limit,the local potentials and the effective nonlinear responses at all harmonics are derived.Meanwhile,the general effective nonlinear responses are also derived and compared with the effective nonlinear responses at harmonics under the AC and DC external field.It is found that the effective nonlinear AC and DC responses at harmonics can be calculated by those of the general effective nonlinear of the graded composites under the external DC electric field.Moreover,the obtained local electrical fields show that the electrical field distribution in the cylindrical inclusions is controllable,and the maximum of the electric field inside the cylinder is at its center. 展开更多

虽然新产品促销性脱销导致其暂时性缺货,会给相似品提供了替代和涨价的机会,但是新产品促销性脱销也会对相似品产生拖累效应,导致消费者对其评价降低。但目前相关的关注和研究较为匮乏。基于前景理论与控制动机理论,通过构建有调节的双... 虽然新产品促销性脱销导致其暂时性缺货,会给相似品提供了替代和涨价的机会,但是新产品促销性脱销也会对相似品产生拖累效应,导致消费者对其评价降低。但目前相关的关注和研究较为匮乏。基于前景理论与控制动机理论,通过构建有调节的双中介模型,文章深入探寻了新产品促销性脱销影响相似品贬值的内在机理与边界条件,并且通过实验方法进行了实证检验。通过3个实验,结果发现:(1)新产品促销性脱销确实会让相似品产生贬值,并且价格促销性脱销较之于非价格促销性脱销更容易让相似品产生更大的贬值;(2)参照依赖与控制剥夺会共同中介新产品促销性脱销对相似品贬值的影响,其中前者起着消极中介效应,而后者起着积极中介效应;(3)消费者权力感(包括特质权力感与状态权力感)会调节参照依赖与控制剥夺的双中介效应,低权力感者更容易让参照依赖中介效应占优,而高权力感者更容易让控制剥夺中介效应占优。这些研究结论不仅对丰富和完善新产品促销、产品稀缺效应、虚位诱导效应等理论具有重要的意义,而且对指导和改善厂商的新产品营销、消费者理性看待新产品促销性脱销和监管机构的市场监管有重要的管理启示。 展开更多

目的 探讨烧伤合并急性呼吸窘迫综合征(ARDS)机械通气患者不同俯卧位与翻身时长对治疗效果的影响。方法 选取2021年6—12月医院烧伤合并ARDS机械通气患者41例作为对照组,采取俯卧位与平卧位均为2 h并交替翻身3次,俯卧位累计6 h;选取2022... 目的 探讨烧伤合并急性呼吸窘迫综合征(ARDS)机械通气患者不同俯卧位与翻身时长对治疗效果的影响。方法 选取2021年6—12月医院烧伤合并ARDS机械通气患者41例作为对照组,采取俯卧位与平卧位均为2 h并交替翻身3次,俯卧位累计6 h;选取2022年1—6月收治的相同疾病患者38例作为观察组,采取俯卧4 h→平卧2 h→俯卧4 h→平卧,俯卧位时间长为8 h。观察对比1周内两组患者的血气分析结果、住院时间、Braden量表评分。结果 更改俯卧位与翻身时长后的第7天,观察组患者的动脉血氧分压(PaO_(2))、氧合指数(PaO_(2)/FiO_(2))均高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组患者的动脉血二氧化碳分压(PaCO_(2))低于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组患者住院时间短于对照组,Braden评分高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 通过平卧2 h与俯卧4 h交替翻身2次,共俯卧位8 h,可改善患者血气指标,减轻皮肤压力性损伤,缩短住院时间。 展开更多

Four thiophene derivatives were prepared by replacing the 3,4 positions of thiophene by―OCH3, ―CH3―COOCH3 and ―CN, respectively. The polycondensations via direct arylation took place between the four thiophene derivatives and 2,7-dibromo-9,9-dioctylfluorene under six various catalytic conditions to investigate the substituent effects. The substituent can affect the electron cloud density of the active C―H bond, which can be monitored by the NMR chemical shift. The experimental results show that the reactivity decreases with increasing the chemical shift of active C―H bonds in the four thiophene derivatives, and thus can promote the direct arylation polycondensation. This phenomenon is explained by the electrophilic aromatic substitution(SEAr) mechanism. UV-Visible absorption and photoluminescence were studied to investigate the substituent effect on optical properties of the four copolymers. The results show that these alternating fluorene-thiophene copolymers with different substituents are good fluorescent materials and promising in PLED applications. 展开更多

微多普勒特征可为旋翼直升机的识别提供一种新的依据。现有针对旋翼直升机回波模型的研究仅限于矩形旋翼叶片尖端的微多普勒效应。首先,通过建立矩形尖端旋翼、锥形尖端旋翼以及抛物线扫掠尖端旋翼的全散射点回波模型,引入特征提取算子... 微多普勒特征可为旋翼直升机的识别提供一种新的依据。现有针对旋翼直升机回波模型的研究仅限于矩形旋翼叶片尖端的微多普勒效应。首先,通过建立矩形尖端旋翼、锥形尖端旋翼以及抛物线扫掠尖端旋翼的全散射点回波模型,引入特征提取算子,设计“时频分析—归一化时频处理—频率‘投影压缩’—截断取模傅里叶变换”的方法,实现具有时移幅频不变特性的微动特征的提取。然后,基于交替方向乘子法,提出在目标分类中的压缩感知问题求解算法,并与传统的支持向量机方法进行对比分析,借助多个仿真实验验证所提出方法的有效性。 展开更多
