[ Method] A total of four healthy adult goats were selected and respectively implanted a permanent rumen fistula by surgery. After the gadic oxide was poured into the rumen of goats, the movement of ruminal smooth muscle in vivo was observed by self-developed ruminal smooth muscle movement detector. [ Result] The average muscle contraction intensity of the four goats was significantly increased by 51.6% ( P 〈 0.01 ) in experiment period compared with that of the control. The average contraction frequency was significantly increased by 24.6% ( P 〈 0.01 ). The average duration of contraction was significantly shortened by 19,1% (P 〈0.01 ). The average feeding intake was significantly increased by 8.1% (P 〈 0.01 ). [ Conclusion] Gadic oxide can greatly strengthen the movement of ruminal smooth muscle and promote gastric emptying.展开更多
