The paper reports SHRIMP U-Pb zircon data of a dark eclogite and a post-eclogite garnet-bearing gneissic granitic rock from the Bixiling area, Yuexi County, Anhui Province, in the eastern Dabie Mountains. The eclogite, which is metamorphosed basic tuff, contains very scarce zircons in omphacite or garnet, but more zircons in quartz. They usually exhibit a double-layered texture, as shown clearly in cathodoluminescence images. Their inner main parts give a 206Pb/238U age of 757±7 Ma, representing the approximate age of the high-pressure (HP)- ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) metamorphic event during which the eclogite was formed. The outer peripheral parts of the zircons, which have been modified by late-stage fluids, give an age of 223±3 Ma. The granitic rock contains more zircons of anatectic origin found mostly in feldspar and quartz and usually also showing a similar composite texture. The inner main parts of the anatectic zircons with oscillatory zoning give a 206Pb/238U age of 727±15 Ma for the approximate age of the emplacement of the granitic rock, and their outer parts, an age of 219±3 Ma for a similar or even the same fluid event. It is thus suggested that the HP-UHP metamorphism of the Bixiling eclogite facies rocks took place during the Neoproterozoic Jinningian, and the Indosinian age values may only represent a late event in the nature of fluid activity. 展开更多

胶北南山口镁铁-超镁铁质杂岩主要由含榴辉石岩和含榴基性麻粒岩所组成,且以不规则透镜体的形式赋存于太古宙英云闪长质片麻岩之中。岩相学观察、矿物相转变分析与矿物化学研究结果表明,胶北南山口含榴辉石岩不仅普遍发育近等温减压反... 胶北南山口镁铁-超镁铁质杂岩主要由含榴辉石岩和含榴基性麻粒岩所组成,且以不规则透镜体的形式赋存于太古宙英云闪长质片麻岩之中。岩相学观察、矿物相转变分析与矿物化学研究结果表明,胶北南山口含榴辉石岩不仅普遍发育近等温减压反应结构,即石榴石+富钙流体→单斜辉石+葡萄石+榍石±钠长石与石榴石+富钙流体+二氧化碳→角闪石+葡萄石±钠长石±方解石±榍石,指示其早期可能经历了高压麻粒岩相变质作用。而且,与南山口含榴基性麻粒岩类似,在晚期降温退变过程中,它们还经历了强烈的钙质交代作用,形成富钙矿物组合:富钙铝榴石的石榴石+次透辉石质单斜辉石+钙质角闪石+葡萄石+钠长石+方解石+榍石。SHRIMP锆石U-Pb定年结果表明,胶北南山口含榴辉石岩中的岩浆锆石记录了2900~2850Ma的^207Pb/^206Pb年龄,指示胶北地体在中太古代晚期存在一次重要的岩浆事件,而其变质锆石还记录了1950~1800Ma的^207Pb/^206Pb年龄,说明胶北南山口镁铁-超镁铁质杂岩曾卷入了胶北古元古代晚期地壳造山作用。结合研究区其它地质研究资料,本文推断胶北南山口镁铁-超镁铁质杂岩可能形成于古元古代,是华北克拉通胶-辽-吉带古元古代岩系的重要组成部分,并于1950~1800Ma期间,卷入了胶-辽-吉带古元古代造山作用,先后经历了高压麻粒岩相变质作用和晚期降温与钙质交代的联合退变质作用。 展开更多

本文研究对象为江南造山带西段湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩。长界橄榄辉石岩锆石LA ICP-MS U-Pb加权平均年龄为701±11 Ma。长界橄榄辉石岩主要由单斜辉石、橄榄石和少量斜长石以及少量钛铁氧化物组成,指示在岩浆形成过程中单斜辉... 本文研究对象为江南造山带西段湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩。长界橄榄辉石岩锆石LA ICP-MS U-Pb加权平均年龄为701±11 Ma。长界橄榄辉石岩主要由单斜辉石、橄榄石和少量斜长石以及少量钛铁氧化物组成,指示在岩浆形成过程中单斜辉石、橄榄石和少量斜长石为主要分离结晶相。全岩具有低SiO_2(44.01%~47.72%)、Al_2O_3(6.77%~9.10%)、TiO_2(0.49%~0.75%)和全碱(Na_2O+K_2O=0.07%~2.04%)含量,而高MgO(23.97%~30.70%)含量的特征,岩石属于亚碱性拉斑玄武岩系列。长界橄榄辉石岩稀土元素总量(∑REE)较低,为25.7×10-6~55.6×10^(-6),全岩稀土和微量元素标准化图解与洋岛玄武岩(OIB)相似,具有富集轻稀土元素[(La/Yb)N为3.36~6.48]和富集大离子亲石元素(LILE)的特点,同时还显示出"弧岩浆"的地球化学性质,明显的Nb-Ta负异常,较高的Th/Nb值(0.52~0.81)和较低的Nb/La值(0.25~0.44)以及低Nb(1.11×10^(-6)~3.91×10^(-6))的特征。长界橄榄辉石岩具有高初始(87Sr/86Sr)i值(0.707 206~0.708 561)和正的εNd(t)值(0.25~0.41)。微量元素模拟结果表明,长界橄榄辉石岩起源于尖晶石相,其源区为受来自俯冲消减板片脱水或熔融形成的流体或熔体的交代的软流圈地幔,是软流圈地幔上涌并发生低度部分熔融的产物(4%~7%)。结合区域地质特征,推测长界橄榄辉石岩的形成可能与700 Ma时期江南造山带西段裂谷作用导致软流圈物质上涌并发生熔融有关。 展开更多

湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩主要组成矿物为单斜辉石、橄榄石和斜长石,还具有少量的Ti—Fe氧化物。本文利用电子探针对江南造山带西段湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩单斜辉石进行了详细的矿物学研究,研究结果表明单斜辉石属于顽透辉石和普... 湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩主要组成矿物为单斜辉石、橄榄石和斜长石,还具有少量的Ti—Fe氧化物。本文利用电子探针对江南造山带西段湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩单斜辉石进行了详细的矿物学研究,研究结果表明单斜辉石属于顽透辉石和普通辉石。长界橄榄辉石岩单斜辉石较富镁而贫铁,并且还具有高硅、贫碱、低钙的特征,其母岩浆属于拉斑玄武系列。单斜辉石温压计算结果显示,橄榄辉石岩的形成温度为1260~1383℃,压力为1.5~2.6GPa,深度为50~86km,平均深度为73km。整体来看,长界橄榄辉石岩形成的温度基本与软流圈地幔的温度(1280~1350℃)相当,其形成深度为约73km的地幔深处,且在这种温压条件下,软流圈地幔可以发生减压熔融。单斜辉石的成分特征显示示长界橄榄辉石岩是板内拉斑玄武岩,指示其构造背景为裂谷环境。另外,单斜辉石具低的Al_2O_3(0.02%~5.51%)、TiO_2(0~0.46%)和Na_2O(0.01%~1.44%)的特征,这可能是单斜辉石寄主岩石岩浆源区受到俯冲熔体/流体的交代改造作用所导致。结合作者和前人的研究结果,我们推测长界橄榄辉石岩源区为软流圈地幔,其形成可能与裂谷作用导致软流圈物质上涌并发生熔融有关,且在形成长界橄榄辉石岩之前,软流圈地幔已经遭受过俯冲熔体/流体的交代改造作用。 展开更多

东昆仑古特提斯域镁铁-超镁铁质岩石的研究极为薄弱,对青海东昆仑东段希望沟镁铁-超镁铁质杂岩体中橄榄辉石岩进行岩相学、地球化学及年代学分析,以期为东昆仑晚古生代-早中生代构造岩浆演化提供新的约束。利用LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年,... 东昆仑古特提斯域镁铁-超镁铁质岩石的研究极为薄弱,对青海东昆仑东段希望沟镁铁-超镁铁质杂岩体中橄榄辉石岩进行岩相学、地球化学及年代学分析,以期为东昆仑晚古生代-早中生代构造岩浆演化提供新的约束。利用LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年,获得希望沟橄榄辉石岩加权平均年龄为(262.4±1.6)Ma,表明岩体侵位于中二叠世。岩石地球化学研究显示,希望沟橄榄辉石岩具有较高的Mg^#值(85.31~86.27),m/f比值介于5.50~6.18,属于铁质超基性岩类;具有低TiO2(0.41%~0.52%)和低Al2O3(3.04%~4.57%),属钙碱性系列。岩石富集大离子亲石元素(Rb、Th、U)和Pb,相对亏损高场强元素(Nb、Ta、P、Ti),ΣREE为29.79×10^-6~38.96×10^-6,(La/Yb)N为1.71~2.51,平均2.15,δEu=0.73~0.86,具有弱的Eu负异常。岩石成因分析表明,岩石源区为被俯冲改造的岩石圈地幔,岩浆在演化过程中遭受了上地壳物质的同化混染作用。结合东昆仑区域构造演化,认为希望沟橄榄辉石岩为阿尼玛卿古特提斯洋俯冲阶段的岩浆记录。 展开更多

U-Pb zircon dating on two foliated garnet-bearing granite samples in the western Dabie ultra-high-pressure (UHP) metamorphic unit yields concordant ages of (234±4) Ma and (227±5) Ma, respectively. These ages, following the UHP peak metamorphism, represent the magma emplacement ages for the foliated garnet-bearing granites. This, for the first time, shows that there are the Triassic granites in the Dabie Mountains. The foliated garnet-bearing granites resemble A-type granite in geochemical characteristics, indicating that they were formed in exten-sional geodynamic setting. The magma formation reflects a reheating event in the Dabie orogenic belt and it enhances the transfer of tectonic regime from collision into extension and promotes the rapid exhumation into lower crust for the UHP metamorphic rocks. 展开更多

Study of petrography shows that there is compositional zoning hi the diopside itself. Thermal State and Structure of the Lithosphere beneath Eastern China: A Synthesis on Basalt-Borne Xenoliths 被引量:11

Application of reliable thermobarometer on garnet-bearing mantle xenoliths and granulite xenoliths entrained by Cenozoic basalts in eastern China reveals two main types of geotherm. The first type, as exampled by Hannuoba (汉若坝), Mingxi (明溪) and probably Northeast China, is characterized by constant slope of data in the P-T space. The second type, as exampled by the high geotherms of Niishan (女山) and probably Xinchang (新昌), is characterized by variable slopes, with the samples with pressure 〈2 MPa defining a slow slope, whereas the samples with pressure 〉2 MPa define a virtually vertical slope. The different slopes in the second type of geotherm may correspond to different heat transfer mechanisms, with conductive transfer for the shallow upper mantle and advective transfer for the deep mantle. This observed transition in thermal transfer mechanism is consistent with theoretical modeling. The two types of geotherm are not mutually exclusive, because the second type may characterize the thermal state of whole lithospheric section including both mechanical boundary layer (MBL) and thermal boundary layer (TBL), while the first type may only depict the MBL. The variable geotherms for different regions are indicative of a heterogeneous lithospheric structure in eastern China. (a) Eastern North China craton (NCC) is characterized by a second-type geotherm, corresponding to a thin lithosphere (-70 km). Comparison of the equilibrium temperatures of spinel peridotites with this geotherm constrains the depth to Moho in eastern North China craton to be 30 kin. In contrast, western NCC (Hannuoba: the first-type geotherm) possesses a relatively low thermal gradient, indicative of a thick lithosphere (〉90-100 km) and a thick crust-mantle transition zone. The dramatic change in crustal and mantle structure across the DTGL (Daxing'anling (大兴安岭)- Talhangshan (太行山) gravity lineament) is consistent with recent seismic studies. (b) There is a decrease in thermal gradient and in lithospheric thickness from the coast (Xinchang: the second-type geotherm) to the inland (Mingxi: the first-type geotherm) in South China (from -80 km to 〉90 kin), which is collaborated with westward variation in basalt geochemistry. (c) The weak convex-upward pattern of the geo- therm in Qilin (麒麟) and Leizhou (雷州) Peninsula is peculiar, probably reflecting a transitional feature between conductive and advective heat transfer. It may result from impregnation of mantle plume on the base of the lithosphere. These new results not only provide a basic framework for the ongoing 4-D lithosphere mapping project in eastern China, but also yield important implications for deep processes that operated over the past. 展开更多

Electron probe microanalysis(EPMA) dating of monazite has been developed over decades. However, limited by the detectability and analytical sensitivity of dating-related elements(Th, Pb, U and Y), the EPMA dating has been restricted to geological research. In this study, various probe currents, beam diameters and counting times have been utilized on a JEOL JXA-8230 electron microprobe to determine the optimal experimental conditions for measuring Th, Pb, U and Y in monazite. The optimal conditions are:(1) accelerating voltage is 15 k V;(2) probe current is 100 n A;(3) beam diameter is 1 μm;(4) the peak and background counting time of U and Pb are 200 and 100 s;and(5) the peak and background counting time of Th and Y are 100 and 50 s. We apply this method to monazite from garnet-bearing biotite gneiss in the Zanhuang area of the Central Orogenic Belt of the North China Craton. The Pb O-Th O2* isochron age calculated by EPMA data is 1 812±17 Ma(MSWD=2.06), which is similar to the weighted mean 207 Pb/206 Pb age(1 805±12 Ma, MSWD=1.07) obtained by LA-ICP-MS. This study suggests that EPMA dating of monazite as a powerful dating technique can be widely used in geochronological study. 展开更多
