The latter played an important role in formation of SAPO-34 (CHA-type) with plate-like morphology. In addition, the yield of the product in the synthesis system containing seed suspension reached 97%, 15% higher than that obtained in the corre- sponding synthesis system without the seed suspension. Meanwhile, the plate-like SAPO-34 catalysts synthesized by this method exhibited higher selectivity to light olefins and longer lifetime in methanol-to-olefins (MTO) reaction than the traditional cubic SAPO-34 catalyst. This work provides a new technical route for green and efficient synthesis of SAPO-34 catalysts with improved MTO performance.展开更多

Then hollow ZrB2 spheres were successfully synthesized using zirconium oxychloride ( ZrClO2 · 8H2O), boric acid ( H3BO3 ) by a combined solgel and boro/carbothermal reduction method, and the prepared carbon microspheres as the template. The effects of the reaction temperatures (1 200, 1 300, 1 400 and 1 500 ℃, respectively) and contents of carbon microspheres ( n ( C ) : n ( ZrO2 + B2O3) is 5. 0, 5. 5, 6. 0 and 6. 5, respectively) on the synthesis of hollow ZrB2 spheres were studied. The prepared carbon microspheres have smooth sugrace and good hollow structure by hydrothermal nitridation. Increase of reaction temperature and excessive carbon microspheres can greatly promote the formation of hollow ZrB2 spheres. The optimized reaction temperature and molar ratio of n (C)/ n ( ZrO2 + B2O3 ) were 1 500 ℃ and 6.5, respectively.展开更多

The crystallization behavior of LiNb 1- x Ta x O 3 films on Si(111) substrates has been studied. Highly c axis oriented LiNb 1- x Ta x O 3 films have been obtained within the tantalum composition range of \{0< x <0 33\}. Some factors such as the hydrogen termination of the silicon surface, the RTP annealing process that provides the unidirectional heat flow and the preheating temperature are discussed to analyze the crystallization of the c axis oriented films.展开更多

DTA TG, XRD, TEM and A C impedance techniques were used to investigate the structure, shape, and ionic conductivity of these samples. The results show that the range of solid solution formation is in 0< x ≤0 09, in which the conductivity of these samples raises with the increasing amount of RE 2O 3 (RE=Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd) added, and the diameter of the powders is about 100 nm. Compared with the conventional solid state reaction, the sol gel method needs low temperature and presents high ionic conductivity.展开更多

Dril- ling fluids are generally discarded after the completion of drilling operations and become waste, which can have a large negative impact on the environment. Drilling mate- rials and additives together with drill cuttings, oil, and water constitute waste drilling fluids, which ultimately are dumped onto soil, surface water, groundwater, and air. Environmental pollution is found to be a serious threat while drilling complex wells or high-temperature deep wells as these types of wells involve the use of oil-based drilling fluid systems and high-performance water-based drilling fluid systems. The preservation of the environment on a global level is now important as various organizations have set up initiatives to drive the usage of toxic chemicals as drilling fluid additives. This paper presents an approach where grass is introduced as a sustainable drilling fluid additive with no environmental problems. Simple water- based drilling fluids were formulated using bentonite, powdered grass, and water to analyze the rheological and filtration characteristics of the new drilling fluid. A particle size distribution test was conducted to determine the par- ticle size of the grass sample by the sieve analysis method. Experiments were conducted on grass samples of 300, 90, and 35 μm to study the characteristics and behavior of the newly developed drilling fluid at room temperature. The results show that grass samples with varying particle sizes and concentrations may improve the viscosity, gel strength, and filtration of the bentonite drilling fluid. These obser- vations recommend the use of grass as a rheological modifier, filtration control agent, and pH control agent to substitute toxic materials from drilling fluids.展开更多

The results show that DyFe x Co 1- x O 3- δ has the structure of perovskite type at 800 ℃ for 2 h calcination. The conductivity of the materials at different temperature was measured by four probe instrumentation and two pole method. The results show that the conductivity of mixed oxides DyFe x Co 1- x O 3- δ is higher than those of un mixed oxides DyFeO 3 and DyCoO 3 and the conductivity is the best at x =0.8 in the matter of DyFe x Co 1- x O 3- δ . The conductivity of these materials always increases with the temperature rising and there is an apparent change between 600 and 800 ℃. However, the spinodals are different with different ration of Fe 3+ and Co 3+ . This kind of oxide is a conductive pottery material.展开更多

The percentage of sperm comet cells and the comet tail lengths were measured in the treated sperm cells by using SCGE. Results Both percentage of comet sperm nuclei and mean tail length in sperm cells exposed to 0.5 mmol/L hydrogen peroxide with different concentrations of NAC decrease significantly in a dose dependent manner as compared with sperm cells exposed to H 2O 2 without NAC or catalase. Although mean tail length in sperm cells exposed to 5.0 mmol/L of β NADPH with different concentrations of NAC decreases significantly compared with sperm cells exposed to β NADPH without NAC or SOD, there were no significant differences on the percentage of sperm comet cells between sperm cells exposed to 5.0 mmol/L of β NADPH with different concentrations of NAC and sperm cells exposed to 5.0 mmol/L of β NADPH without NAC. Conclusion NAC has a protective effect on exogenous hydrogen peroxide induced DNA damage, while protective effect of NAC against O - 2 induced DNA strand breakage is significant but very weak.展开更多

The rennet flocculation time (RFT) and rennet clotting time (RCT) were also determined by using the Berridge test and sensory evaluation. The hardness value versus renneting time curves derived from texture analysis gave a good modified exponential relationship for each CaCl2 concentration and the curves were used to calculate flocculation time and clotting time parameters. It was found that the parameters (tfloc and tclot) appeared strongly correlated with RFT and RCT, respectively. Texture analysis was proved as a suitable method to control the rennet-induced coagulation and determine the rennet clotting time. It was also determined that enrichment of milk with CaCl2 leaded to a decrease in flocculation and clotting times and an increase in rate of clotting and gel hardness.展开更多
