Chinese Adaptation and Psychometric Properties of the Belief in a Just World Scale for College Students

This study aims to revise the Belief in a Just World Scale(BJWS)for Chinese college students and test its reliability and validity(construct validity,convergent and divergent validity).Two samples of 546 and 595 college students were selected,respectively,using stratified cluster random sampling.Item analysis,exploratory factor analysis(EFA),confirmatory factor analysis(CFA),reliability analysis and convergent and divergent validity tests were carried out.The results showed that the 13 items of the BJWS have good item discrimination.The corrected item–total correlation in the general belief in a just world subscale was found to range from 0.464 to 0.655,and that in the personal belief in a just world subscale was 0.553 to 0.715.The internal consistency coefficients of the revised version of the BJWS and its subscales are good.The EFA and CFA results show that the structure and items of the revised scale are the same as those of the original scale.Belief in a just world was found to have significant positive correlations with gratitude and empathy,and has a significant negative correlation with anxiety,thereby exhibiting good convergent and divergent validity.Therefore,the Chinese revised version of the BJWS has good reliability and validity.

Brane world black holes in teleparallel theory equivalent to general relativity and their Killing vectors,energy,momentum and angular momentum

The energy--momentum tensor, which is coordinate-independent, is used to calculate energy, momentum and angular momentum of two different tetrad fields. Although, the two tetrad fields reproduce the same space--time their energies are different. Therefore, a regularized expression of the gravitational energy--momentum tensor of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity （TEGR）, is used to make the energies of the two tetrad fields equal. The definition of the gravitational energy--momentum is used to investigate the energy within the external event horizon. The components of angular momentum associated with these space--times are calculated. In spite of using a static space--time, we get a non-zero component of angular momentum! Therefore, we derive the Killing vectors associated with these space--times using the definition of the Lie derivative of a second rank tensor in the framework of the TEGR to make the picture more clear.

A Numerical World Ocean General Circulation Model

This paper describes a numerical model of the world ocean based on the fully primitive equations. A 'Standard' ocean state is introduced into the equations of the model and the perturbed thermodynamic variables are used in the modlc's calculations. Both a free upper surface and a bottom topography are included in the model and a sigma coordinate is used to normalize the model's vertical component. The model has four unevenly-spaced layers and 4 × 5 horizontal resolution based on C-grid system. The finite-difference scheme of the model is designed to conserve the gross available energy in order to avoid fictitious energy generation or decay.The model has been tested in response to the annual mean surface wind stress, sea level air pressure and sea level air temperature as a preliminary step to its further improvement and its coupling with a global atmospheric general circulation model. Some of results, including currents, temperature and sea surface elevation simulated by the mode! arc presented.

G-CPT Symmetry of Quantum Emergence and Submergence—An Information Conservational Multiagent Cellular Automata Unification of CPT Symmetry and CP Violation for Equilibrium-Based Many-World Causal Analysis of Quantum Coherence and Decoherence

An equilibrium-based YinYang bipolar dynamic Generalization of CPT (G-CPT) symmetry is introduced based on energy/information conservational quantum emergence-submergence. As a bottleneck of quantum computing, quantum decoherence or collapse has been plaguing quantum mechanics for decades. It is suggested that the crux of the problem can trace its origin back to the incompleteness of CPT symmetry due to the lack of holistic representation for equilibrium-based bipolar coexistence. In this work, the notion of quantum emergence-submergence is coined as two opposite processes with bipolar energy/information conservation. The new notion leads to G-CPT symmetry supported by a Bipolar Quantum Cellular Automata (BQCA) interpretation of quantum mechanics. It is shown that the new interpretation further leads to the unification of electromagnetic particle-antiparticle bipolarity and gravitational action-reaction bipolarity as well as CPT symmetry and CP violation into a philosophically, geometrically and logically different quantum gravity theory. On one hand, G-CPT symmetry enables a Bipolar Quantum Agent (BQA) to emerge as a bipolar quantum superposition or entanglement coupled to a globally coherent BQCA;on the other hand, G-CP violation supports a causal theory of BQA submergence or decoupling from the global coherence. In turn, BQAs can submerge from one world but emerge in another within YinYang bipolar quantum geometry. It is suggested that all logical, physical, social, biological and mental worlds are bipolar quantum entangled under G-CPT symmetry. It is contended that G-CPT symmetry constitutes an analytical paradigm of quantum mechanics and quantum gravity—a fundamental departure from “what goes around comes around”. The new paradigm leads to a number of predictions and challenges.

Beliefs and Economic Growth： Cross National Evidence Based on the World Values Survey (WVS)

This paper is concerned with the relationship between beliefs and economic performance and explains the differences of country performance in global economic growth over the past two decades based on the composite belief index comprising the beliefs on trust,social justice,competition and work-leisure.By influencing personal motivations,beliefs shape society and the institutions and policies of a country in the form of collective ideology.Beliefs demonstrate great differences across countries and change with time,which helps explain the country and intertemporal differences of growth.This paper also found that China s composite belief index is very high,which helps explain China's economic growth miracle.

China Stated Reports at BIE 131st General Assembly

On July 2,2002, Bureau of International Exhibition’s (BIE) 131st General Assemblywas convened in Paris. The assembly examined the investigation report by BIE InvestigationDelegation for those application countries. 大学生领悟社会支持和亲社会行为的关系——感恩的中介作用与公正世界信念的调节作用

为探讨大学生领悟社会支持与亲社会行为的内在关联机制——感恩的中介作用与公正世界信念的调节作用。采用领悟社会支持量表、亲社会行为量表、感恩量表、公正世界信念量表对954名本科生进行测量,最终回收有效问卷742份。结果显示,领悟社会支持正向预测亲社会行为(β=0.18,p<0.001);领悟社会支持正向预测感恩(β=0.42,p<0.001);感恩正向预测亲社会行为(β=0.20,p<0.001)。感恩在领悟社会支持和亲社会行为间起中介作用。公正世界信念在领悟社会支持和亲社会行为间起调节作用(β=0.19,p<0.001)。领悟社会支持不仅能直接正向预测亲社会行为,还能通过感恩间接对亲社会行为产生影响;公正世界信念在领悟社会支持和亲社会行为间起调节作用。

主观社会地位对青少年亲社会冒险行为的影响:有调节的链式中介模型

为探讨主观社会地位对青少年亲社会冒险行为的影响,采用青少年主观社会地位量表、亲社会冒险行为量表、公正世界信念量表以及自尊量表,对1106名高中生进行调查。结果发现:(1)主观社会地位可以显著正向预测青少年亲社会冒险行为;(2)公正世界信念和自尊不仅在主观社会地位和亲社会冒险行为之间分别起部分中介作用,而且在两者间发挥着链式中介作用;(3)上述链式中介模型存在显著的性别差异,性别调节了模型中“主观社会地位—亲社会冒险行为”这一路径。研究为青少年亲社会冒险行为的引导和干预提供了理论指导和实证依据。

现实和网络社会支持与网络旁观者保护行为的关系:公正世界信念与道德认同的链式中介作用

目的:探讨社会支持与网络欺凌旁观者保护行为的关系,为保护大学生安全上网提供依据。方法:问卷施测1563名在校大学生,采用领悟社会支持量表(PSSS)、在线社会支持问卷(OSSQ)、网络欺凌中的旁观者行为问卷(BBQC)、公正世界信念量表(BJW)、道德自我认同问卷(MIM)进行调查,进行链式中介作用检验。结果:(1)现实社会支持、网络社会支持、公正世界信念、道德认同和网络旁观者保护行为彼此正相关;(2)中介检验表明公正世界信念在现实社会支持与网络旁观者保护行为之间的中介效应显著,效应值为0.032;道德认同在现实社会支持与网络旁观者保护行为之间、网络社会支持与网络旁观者保护行为之间的中介效应显著,效应值分别为0.047和0.020;公正世界信念和道德认同在现实社会支持与网络旁观者保护行为之间、网络社会支持与网络旁观者保护行为之间的链式中介效应也显著,效应值分别为0.033和0.016。结论:现实社会支持可以通过公正世界信念的中介作用、道德认同的中介作用和公正世界信念与道德认同的链式中介作用正向影响网络旁观者保护行为;网络社会支持可以直接正向影响网络旁观者保护行为,也可以通过道德认同的中介作用和公正世界信念与道德认同的链式中介作用影响网络旁观者保护行为。

基于分层回归法分析本科护生公正世界信念与责任心的关联性

选取2023年1—2月山东省某高校的503名护生作为调查对象,采用一般资料调查表、责任心量表及大学生公正世界信念量表收集资料,以了解护生责任心与公正世界信念现状及影响因素,分析二者间关系,为提升护生责任心提供参考。

高职医学生公正世界信念与心理健康的关系研究——基于泉州某高职医学院校学生的调查

采用公正世界信念量表、SCL-90症状自评量表、生活满意度量表对泉州某高职医学院校677名学生进行问卷调查,以了解高职医学生公正世界信念和心理健康的现状、特点及关系。结果表明,该校高职医学生的心理健康水平高于全国大学生常模水平;公正世界信念与SCL-90总分呈显著负相关,与生活满意度呈显著正相关,SCL-90总分与生活满意度呈显著负相关;公正世界信念水平越高,SCL-90总分越低,心理健康水平越高,生活满意度越高。公正世界信念有助于维护高职医学生的心理健康,可从公正的角度进行心理健康教育,促进思想政治教育和心理健康教育的有益结合。

主观社会经济地位对大学生亲社会行为的影响:公正世界信念与心理资本的中介作用

目的:探讨主观社会经济地位对大学生亲社会行为的影响,并分析公正世界信念与心理资本在两者中的中介作用。方法:采用大学生主观社会地位量表、公正世界信念量表、积极心理资本问卷和亲社会倾向量表对903名大学生进行调查。结果:(1)主观社会经济地位、公正世界信念、心理资本、亲社会行为两两之间均呈显著正相关(p<0.01)。(2)主观社会经济地位能直接预测亲社会行为(p<0.01),也能分别通过公正世界信念和心理资本的单独中介作用(p<0.01),及两者的链式中介作用预测亲社会行为(p<0.01)。结论:本研究基于社会比较理论解释了主观社会经济地位对亲社会行为的作用机制,高校要增加大学生亲社会行为应注重公正世界信念与心理资本的培养。

受资助贫困大学生的感恩与学习投入:公正世界信念的中介作用

为探讨受资助贫困大学生的感恩、公正世界信念与学习投入之间的关系,采用感恩问卷、公正世界信念量表和学习投入量表对河南省和湖北省某2所普通高校767名获得助学金的贫困大学生进行团体施测。结果发现:(1)相关分析显示,感恩、公正世界信念、学习投入两两显著正相关;(2)中介效应检验表明,公正世界信念在受资助贫困大学生感恩与学习投入之间起部分中介作用。结果表明,感恩不仅直接影响学习投入,还通过公正世界信念的中介作用间接影响学习投入。

网络社会排斥与青少年外化问题:有调节的中介模型

为探讨网络社会排斥与青少年外化问题的关系及作用机制,本研究对2584名初中生进行问卷调查。结果显示:(1)网络社会排斥能够通过自我控制的中介作用对外化问题产生影响。(2)公正世界信念调节网络社会排斥影响外化问题的直接路径以及自我控制中介作用的前半路径和后半路径。具体而言,公正世界信念能够弱化网络社会排斥的消极影响,但是公正世界信念的保护作用具有局限性。研究结果为青少年外化问题的预防和干预提供了新的视角。
