They can be applied in approximating continuous functions with arbitrary growth order, defined on a finite interval or the whole real axis. The properties of approximation are studied and their asymptotic formulae are presented. These results show that their degrees of approximation are the best among existing operator sequences of Landau type, for example, their degrees of approximation for C 2[0, 1] are O(1/n 2) but corresponding degree of ordinary Landau operators are only O(1/n).展开更多

Taking the disturbances into account, a novel asynchronous MPDT robust positive invariant(RPI) set and an asynchronous MPDT generalized RPI(GRPI)set are determined for the difference system between the nominal and disturbed observer error systems. Further, the global uniform asymptotical stability of the observer error system is established in the sense of converging to the asynchronous MPDT GRPI set, i.e., the cross section of the tube of the observer error system. Finally, the proposed results are validated on a space robot manipulator example.展开更多
Since the coal mine in-pit personnel positioning system neither can effectively achieve the function to detect the uniqueness of in-pit coal-mine personnel nor can identify and eliminate violations in attendance manag...Since the coal mine in-pit personnel positioning system neither can effectively achieve the function to detect the uniqueness of in-pit coal-mine personnel nor can identify and eliminate violations in attendance management such as multiple cards for one person, and swiping one's cards by others in China at present. Therefore, the research introduces a uniqueness detection system and method for in-pit coal-mine personnel integrated into the in-pit coal mine personnel positioning system, establishing a system mode based on face recognition + recognition of personnel positioning card + release by automatic detection. Aiming at the facts that the in-pit personnel are wearing helmets and faces are prone to be stained during the face recognition, the study proposes the ideas that pre-process face images using the 2D-wavelet-transformation-based Mallat algorithm and extracts three face features: miner light, eyes and mouths, using the generalized symmetry transformation-based algorithm. This research carried out test with 40 clean face images with no helmets and 40 lightly-stained face images, and then compared with results with the one using the face feature extraction method based on grey-scale transformation and edge detection. The results show that the method described in the paper can detect accurately face features in the above-mentioned two cases, and the accuracy to detect face features is 97.5% in the case of wearing helmets and lightly-stained faces.展开更多
We propose a multidimensional filter SQP algorithm.The multidimensional filter technique proposed by Gould et al.[SIAM J.Optim.,2005]is extended to solve constrained optimization problems.In our proposed algorithm,the...We propose a multidimensional filter SQP algorithm.The multidimensional filter technique proposed by Gould et al.[SIAM J.Optim.,2005]is extended to solve constrained optimization problems.In our proposed algorithm,the constraints are partitioned into several parts,and the entry of our filter consists of these different parts.Not only the criteria for accepting a trial step would be relaxed,but the individual behavior of each part of constraints is considered.One feature is that the undesirable link between the objective function and the constraint violation in the filter acceptance criteria disappears.The other is that feasibility restoration phases are unnecessary because a consistent quadratic programming subproblem is used.We prove that our algorithm is globally convergent to KKT points under the constant positive generators(CPG)condition which is weaker than the well-known Mangasarian-Fromovitz constraint qualification(MFCQ)and the constant positive linear dependence(CPLD).Numerical results are presented to show the efficiency of the algorithm.展开更多

Fi...In order to solve the bearings-only passive localization problem in the presence of erroneous observer position, a novel algorithm based on double side matrix-restricted total least squares (DSMRTLS) is proposed. First, the aforementioned passive localization problem is transferred to the DSMRTLS problem by deriving a multiplicative structure for both the observation matrix and the observation vector. Second, the corresponding optimization problem of the DSMRTLS problem without constraint is derived, which can be approximated as the generalized Rayleigh quotient minimization problem. Then, the localization solution which is globally optimal and asymptotically unbiased can be got by generalized eigenvalue decomposition. Simulation results verify the rationality of the approximation and the good performance of the proposed algorithm compared with several typical algorithms.展开更多
