Research on the Path of Improving the Efficiency of Urban Community Governance from the Perspective of Collaborative Governance:A Case Study of Daqing City,China

Under the background of“co-construction,co-governance,and sharing,”the role of the grassroots level is becoming increasingly important.In the past,the governance body was single with blocked information,and the inefficient governance mode required gradual transformation.In order to achieve collaborative governance and break through the obstacles in grassroots governance,the key lies in how to play the role of the community,coordinate the relationship between citizens and the community,and allow the community to better play the role of grassroots governance.Under the guidance of the concept of collaborative governance and combined with relevant data,this paper discusses the problems and current situation of community governance in Daqing City,China,explores the path to improve the efficiency of urban community governance,and puts forward relevant constructive suggestions to better realize the role of community in grassroots governance.

Construction of Rural Community Governance Path:Based on the Empirical Analysis of Chaoyang Community in Dazhou,Sichuan

Promoting community governance and service innovation is the theme of the times for comprehensively deepening reforms in the field of community construction.The stability and development of the most basic rural community is another important task of community governance.The current rural social governance work is extremely weak,seriously affecting the process of the entire social governance work.Constructing the path of rural community governance has become an important task for the majority of theoretical workers and grassroots practitioners.Taking Chaoyang Community,Tongchuan District,Dazhou,Sichuan Province as an example,with the goal of creating a community with the rule of law,peace,harmony,beauty and livability,a new model and new path to build community governance is proposed in this article.

An Empirical Study on Hainan Citizens'Participation in Urban Community Governance under the Background of Free Trade Port Construction

Hainan is in the period of high-speed development and transformation of government management.To build a free trade port with Chinese characteristics requires a modern social governance system that confirms to the trend of the times,and community governance is important part of whole social governance system.Citizens'cooperative participation in grass-roots community governance has the functions of creating a good living environment,reducing social conflicts,improving residents'sense of well-being and attracting all kinds of talents.Based on the perspective of multi cooperative social governance,this paper empirically investigates the current situation of Hainan urban resident's participation in community governance,explores the reasons for the lack of citizen participation in community governance,and puts forward suggestions for improving citizen participation in community governance.

Observation of Medical Anthropology on Covid-19 Variants Epidemic Prevention Based on the Community-Level Governance Experience of Shenzhen in 2022

In recent years,the thinking and research on the prevention and control of Covid-19 Variants Epidemic is not only the technical operation level discussion in the public health and disease prevention academic circles,there is also growing academic interest in comparative research on public health governance and different paradigms.Based on the experience of Shenzhen's epidemic prevention and control team at the community governance level in 2022,based on the observational perspective of medical anthropology,and through comparison with Hong Kong's anti-epidemic experience,this paper deeply analyzes the function and impact of traditional medical methods in epidemic prevention and control.Then the authors cite the paradigm of‘systems medicine’and research results in recent years,closely link the research topic with community governance in methodological sense,so as to promote public health and epidemic prevention research that aim at the combination of technology and humanities.

Reflections on the Participation of Social Organizations in the Prevention of COVID-19

Objective To study the problems of Chinese social organizations in participating in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic so that we can standardize the participation mechanism,improve the collaborative management mechanism,and promote the development of social organizations.Methods Through the analysis of CNKI,news reports,industry conferences and other data,combined with the current situation,the participation of social organizations in public health emergencies were investigated.Results and Conclusion The coordination between government and social organizations is not good.Social organizations in the field of public health are unable to stand out in a timely manner.The public do not have self-management ability.Some of the media spread rumors.Besides,most social organizations are highly dependent on the government and they are ack supervision.Social organizations should be incorporated into the emergency management system and national hub-based social organizations must be established.In addition,supervision should be strengthened to increase the credibility of social organizations.The responsibilities of community and emergency management at the grassroots level should be enhanced.The public opinion response and disposal system should be improved.Lastly,the responsibility of social organizations in the field of public health must be fulfilled.

Gentrifying rural community development:A case study of Bama Panyang River Basin in Guangxi,China

Rural gentrification is deeply characterized by institutional context and spatiotemporal heterogeneity.Based on a diachronic field investigation,this paper constructs an analytical framework for gentrifying rural community development(GRCD)with a“community”theoretical perspective and analytical approach,defines the concept of GRCD,and analyzes the main characteristics,formation mechanism and regulation path of a typical gentrifying rural community in the Panyang River Basin of Bama County,Guangxi.Driven by factors such as the complex flow and heterogeneous living space practices of the host-guest community,the longevity“myth”led by commercial capital and consumption demand,and multiple action logics and desertification community governance,great changes have occurred in the social space and material landscape of the rural longevity community.Such changes include comprehensive reconstruction of the resident population,surface interaction and social separation of the host-guest community,residential structure change and settlement landscape renewal,and delocalization of the healing landscape and lifestyle changes.We propose policy insights in three areas:public and localization institutional arrangements,shared and comfortable gentrifying rural community making,and inclusive and synergistic gentrifying rural community governance.Through these aspects,we provide insights from the Chinese case for the gentrification and community development of rural areas in the Global South.

A Comparative Study on Participatory MicroRegeneration of Old Communities: From the Perspective of Social Capital

Along with the rise of democratic consciousness and the slowdown of urbanization and economic growth speed, the community development path in contemporary China is under transition, aiming at a more bottom-up and small-scale planning and design process. In order to reveal how the "social capital" affects the public participation and social governance in the process of community micro-regeneration in China, this paper takes two old communities in Chaoyang District of Beijing as examples, to compare the impacts of various social capital levels on participatory community planning and design. The study proves the significance of community social capital and community self-government for the success of residents’ participation and community regeneration, as well as providing suggestions on how to improve public participation effects by strengthening social capital of communities.

转型期中国城市多元参与式社区治理模式研究

As China’s socio-economic development is entering into a transitioning era,urban residents’demands are becoming more diversified,complicated,and fragmented.Ought to address issues regarding community environmental renovation,infrastructure and facilities constructions,and efficient public service supplies,measures should be adopted to adjust the urban community governance model in China to face emergent challenges.Against this background,this paper argues that the"participating actors,""community management and organization framework,""related laws,regulations,and policies,"and"resources allocation and management"are the four crucial dimensions in urban community governance.We then adopted these four underpinnings as the theoretical framework to unravel the complex dynamics of community governance in contemporary urban China.This paper argues that the current community governance system falls short in accommodating the growing demands of community development due to"ambiguity of participating actors,""excessive administrative intervention on community management,""insufficient legislation supports,"and a"deficiency in financing management system."Therefore,this paper argues that through the pluralization of public participation,diversification of community organization modes,and the enhancement of participation accessibility,community governance performance in urban China could be drastically improved.Therefore,a pluralistic and participatory community governance model is proposed in this paper to provide additional policy implications for community governance in urban China.
