How to cultivate and improve graduate students’innovation and practical abilities in software engineering through the curriculum and teaching mode reform is an important issue.In this paper,a research literacy-driven teaching mode is proposed.It assists in the reform of the curriculum system.Then,a curriculum system construction framework is proposed,which involves the integration of research literacy into classroom teaching content.It assists in the cultivation of research abilities of graduate students in software engineering.The effectiveness of the curriculum reform is demonstrated through questionnaire surveys and research outcomes of the project team.The results show that the methods explored in this paper can serve as valuable references for future course design and teaching practice in computer-related courses for graduates. 展开更多

Graduate students as preceptors: Effects on clinical teaching outcomes of medical nursing

Purpose:To explore the feasibility of using graduate students as preceptors in the clinical education of medical nursing students.Methods:Five second-year graduate nursing students were recruited to participate in the clinical teaching of medical nursing for 38 undergraduates in the first semester of the 2010 e2011 academic year,divided into two groups.The first group first received clinical teaching in caring for respiratory diseases from graduate preceptors for six weeks followed by clinical teaching in caring for circulatory diseases from nurse preceptors for six weeks.The second group received clinical teaching in the reverse order,from the nurse preceptors followed by the graduate student preceptors.Following training,all students were examined with a written test and scores were compared.In addition,review meetings were held to evaluate the teaching outcomes.Results:No significant differences in test scores were observed between the two teaching groups.Undergraduate student feedback indicated that the training provided by the graduate students was satisfactory,and the medical nursing course leader was satisfied with the teaching outcome with a few exceptions.Conclusion:These data indicate that graduate students are capable of training undergraduates in medical nursing,although some areas can be improved. 展开更多

Recruiters used to waste their valuable time, effort and money t... Computer systems help to improve human life in all sectors. One of the most important sectors that the recent systems support is the recruitment sector. Recruiters used to waste their valuable time, effort and money to reach the best candidates. The traditional recruitment process fulfills neither the recruiter needs nor the job seeker ambitions. Nowadays, companies use their website or social media to announce job vacancy whereas job seekers usually use job portal to market their abilities and skills. All these can be put on one recruitment website to improve the process for both parties. The proposed system will build an online E-recruitment system for recruiters (companies) and job seekers that will help them to interact with each other and to match their expectations. This system will be developed using Hyper Text pre-processor (PHP), Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), JQ, MySQL, and XMMAP. Moreover, the recent human computer interaction (HCI) concepts will apply to provide good user experience through simple, clear, and modern interfaces. Our E-recruitment system is directed to all graduated students from university in all programs. The system allows the recruiters (companies) to post announcement for job vacancy and to search for job seeker or about another company, and to view the applied job. For the job seeker it allows graduate student to search for job, apply for the available opportunities, upload CV, and setup his own profile. Finally, this study will help to improve the experience and break the difficulties that present in the recruitment process as well as support the human resource (HR) department in companies and other sectors. Finally, the results show the average score of 4.72 out of 5, indicating that the users are feeling enjoyable while using the application features and the system is easy to use. 展开更多

This study addressed the causal association of entrepreneurial performance as predicted by entrepreneurial skills and innovative behavior.Respondents of this research comprised 205 business graduate students from colleges and universities in SOCSARGEN Region in the Philippines.In a quantitative design and through purposive sampling,survey questionnaires were adopted,validated,and utilized.The researcher used the mean and multiple regression as tools in analyzing the data.Findings revealed that business graduate students’entrepreneurial skills,innovative behavior,and entrepreneurial performance were high.This means that business graduate students possessed entrepreneurial skills,innovative behavior was evident,and a very satisfactory entrepreneurial performance.On the individual capacity,entrepreneurial skills did not significantly influence business performance while innovative behavior significantly influenced entrepreneurial performance. 展开更多

Objective: To explore graduation practical ability assessment mode of graduate students in nursing (Master of Nursing Specialist, MNS). Methods: All 28 MNS 2020th graduate students in a university were selected as subjects by convenient sampling method, using the improved 4-station objective structured examination (Objective Structured Clinical Examination, OSCE) model. The assessment content included nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, basic nursing operation, specialist nursing operation, theoretical written test and oral test and overall evaluation. And self-made questionnaire was used to evaluate the effect of the assessment model and the improvement of clinical practice ability of graduate students. Results: The overall satisfaction rate of graduation assessment was 89.51%, the overall satisfaction rate of graduation assessment mode and practical ability improvement evaluation was 84.66%, the pass rate of assessment results was 100%, and the excellent rate was 71.42%. Conclusion: The MNS graduation practical ability assessment model has a high degree of satisfaction, objectively evaluates the knowledge, skills, attitudes and emotions of graduate students, promotes the comprehensive quality and ability of graduate students, which is worthy of promotion. 展开更多

Objective:The objective is to understand the current situation of clinical practice training for nursing master’s degree postgraduates,and discuss the necessity of implementing the“dual specialty”training mode for nursing master’s degree postgraduates in China.Methods:Phenomenological research method was used to conduct semi‑structured in‑depth interviews with 10 nursing master’s degree graduates,and the data were analyzed by Colaizzi 7‑step analysis method.Results:Four topics were extracted:The objective of clinical practice training for nursing master degree postgraduates was not specific;the cultivation direction is not refined;the ability of clinical practice is weak;the research direction is not consistent with the required position.Conclusion:Implementing special double training mode can solve nursing professional master degree postgraduate education lacking the ability to service the needs of society,graduate students and the existing problems of specialist nurse training and the cultivation of“heavy science,light clinical practice”status quo and the effective way of guiding graduate students career planning,so the implementation of special“double”training mode is necessary. 展开更多
