This paper presents the basic perception and methodology of modern and true intelligent load management scheme in micro grids topology by employing TCP/IP protocol for fast and intelligent switching. The network understudy performs load management and power distribution intelligently in a unified network. Generated power is efficiently distributed among local loads through fast communication system of server in the form of source and clients in the form of loads through TCP/IP. However, job management in the existing grid middleware needs to be improved in terms of efficiency and flexibility. This paper addresses a flexible architecture for job management with detailed design and implementation. Frameworks for job scheduling and monitoring, as two important aspects, are also presented. The proposed job management has the advantages of reusability of job definition, flexible and automatic file operation, visual steering of file transfer and job execution, and adaptive application job scheduler. A job management wizard is designed to implement each step. Therefore, what the grid user needs to do is only to define the job by constructing necessary information at runtime. In addition, the job space is adopted to ensure the security of the job management. Experimental results showed that this approach is user-friendly and system efficient.展开更多

Aiming at the problems of resource management of CEDAGrid (China Earthquake Disaster Alleviation and Simulation Grid) in its preliminary construction, this paper presents a resource management and job scheduling model: ProRMJS to solve these problems. For platform supposed agreeably each computing node can provide computation service, ProRMJS uses "computation pool" to support scheduler, and then the scheduler allocates jobs dynamically according to computing capability and status of each node to ensure the stability of the platform. At the same time, ProRMJS monitors the status of job on each node and sets a time threshold to manage the job scheduling. By estimating the computing capability of each node, ProRMJS allocates jobs on demand to solve the problem of supposing each node can finish the job acquiescently. When calculating the computing capability of each node, ProRMJS allows for the various factors that affect the computing capability and then the efficiency of the platform is improved. Finally the validity of the model is verified by an example.展开更多

However, the overhead caused by proof of compliance on authorization and the absence of certifying authorities may negate the strong and objective security advantages of policy-based approach, whilst vagueness, complexity and inaccurate characterization caused by reputation evolution may eliminate the quantitative and flexible advantages of reputation-based approach. The hybrid system in this paper consists of a wind turbine generator, photovoltaic (PV) panels, an electric vehicle (EV), and a super capacitor (SC), which is able to connect or disconnect to the main grid. The control strategy is responsible for compensating the difference between the generated power by the wind and solar generators and the demanded power by the loads. Wavelet transform decomposes the power difference into a smoothed component and a fast fluctuated component. The command approach used for fuzzy logic rules considers the state of charging (SOC) of EV, renewable production, and the load demand as parameters. Furthermore, the command rules are developed in order to ensure a reliable grid when taking into account the EV battery protection to decide the output power of the EV. The model of the hybrid system is developed in detail under Matlab/Simulink software environment.展开更多

To derive that strategy, an energy consumption of shiftable loads belonging to a given user is modelled as a noncooperative three-player game of incomplete information, in which each user plays against the storage unit and an opponent gathering all the other users in the micro-grid. Each player is assumed to be endowed with statistical information about its behavior and that of its opponents so that he can take actions maximizing his expected utility. Results of the proposed strategy evaluated by simulating, under MATLAB environment, a connected micro-grid with storage device evidence its efficacy when employed to manage the charging of electric vehicles.展开更多

In the framework, techniques of spontaneous service provi- sion, grid, scene-aware, semantic reasoning, and equipment service management are smoothly synthesized. It ena- bles equipments in grid of things to interact automatically, provides semantic-integration equipment status aware- hess, and supports meta-service management based adaptability and scalability
