Promoting Cultural Diversity, Cultural Equality and Cultural Sustainability Through Art Centers—A Case Study of National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts Weiwuying

This research is aimed to investigate the venues and influences of how arts centers can help promote culture diversity,equality and sustainability in cities.By analyzing the newly established National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts Weiwuying in Taiwan,it is my goal to bring out the objectives of practical approaches,of how arts center embedded cultural diversity and cultural equality through its design,organization and governance system,to connect city governance with cultural policy.In addition,relating to cultural policy and city governance by cross-examine interaction between them,this research endeavors to conceptualize the meanings and significance behind those changes in a city.Last,in terms of cultural sustainability,it will be our main goal to recognize the link which leads cultural diversity and equality to cultural sustainability development of the city.

Study on Fine Management of Construction Engineering Projects Based on BIM Technology:Taking the Construction of Group C Project of Zibo Cultural Center as an Example

The roof steel structure of group C project of Zibo cultural center is composed of steel truss,welded H-shaped steel and large-diameter steel pipe embedded parts.The construction of embedded parts of inclined cylinder overhanging steel structure is difficult.The stair square tube ladder beam requires precise angles and radians,complex processing,and construction site setting out is difficult.A three-dimensional visual building information model has been established for this projects which includes several aspects which are as follows:the development of the post anchor construction technology of large steel sleeve embedded parts with inclined cylinders based on Building Information Modeling(BIM)technology,multi discipline synthesis and collision optimization,the net height optimization of electromechanical pipelines,fine reinforcement management,BIM virtual construction template.Through this planning,14908 pipeline collisions,including 236 major collisions have been eliminated.BIM is used in handling and solving problems with the construction unit and the supervision company.This greatly improves the project work efficiency and saves meeting time.Through optimization of electromechanical line collision and secondary masonry layout,more than RMB 9 million has been saved in terms of personnel and materials,effectively reducing material losses,saving manpower,and significantly improving the implementation efficiency of the project.Based on the on-site simulation,the project planning scheme of the enterprise was adjusted,efficient work allocation with less idle time were ensured,and the correct utilization of project funds and time were ensured.The original extensive annual control and monthly control have been dynamically and accurately controlled to realize the dynamic understanding of the profits and losses of the project,and effectively reduce the occurrence of non-ideal situations.

Multi-Cultural Dynamics on Social Networks under External Random Perturbations

This work deals with the development of multi-cultural network-centric dynamic models under the influence of personal intra- and inter-members, as well as community. Each individual member of a society is influenced by her/his interactions with fellow members of the family, neighborhood, region and the universe. The behavior of such complex and highly interacting social networks is characterized by stochastic interconnected dynamical systems. The primary goal is on laying down an investigation of both qualitative and quantitative properties of this network dynamical system. In particular, we would like to determine the regions of conflicts and coexietence as well as to establish the cohesion and stability of emerging states. This is achieved by employing the method of system of differential inequalities and comparison theorems in the context of the energy function. The developed energy function method provides estimates for regions of conflict and cooperation. Moreover, the method also provides sufficient conditions for the community cohesion and stability in a systematic way.

On November 11,the “In Pursuit of Harmony--An Exhibition of Chinese Traditional Culture Lifestyle” opened at the China Cultural Center in Berlin,which was organized by the China Cultural Center in Berlin and the Network of International Culturalink Entities and undertaken by Beiiing Zhilan Boya Culture & Art Co.,Ltd.The exhibition opens a window for local people in Berlin to know traditional Chinese culture and contemporary life aesthetics through various art forms such as ink wash painting,oil painting,digital technology,calligraphy and natural stone art as well as an array of interactive display.Nearly 200 Chinese and German audiences attended the opening ceremony and cultural experience activities held on November 12.

RMB 400 Million to be Invested in Beijing Subcenter Museums and Libraries

Cultural center is one of the important strategic functions of Beijing. It has become the top priority of financial investment in 2019. The budget of Beijing municipal government departments shows that the municipal budget strongly supports cultural heritage protection, tourism culture, museums, industrial heritage transformation and physical bookstores. In 2019, RMB 400 million will be spent building subcenter museums and libraries.

The Three Kingdoms Culture and the City of Chengdu

The Three Kingdoms Culture is regarded as the most influential part in the colorful traditional cultures of Chengdu. In this paper, the relationship between the Three Kingdoms Culture and the City of Chengdu is discussed in three respects based on the definition of Three Kingdoms:(1) Chengdu is the core of the original culture of the Three Kingdoms;(2) it is the center for inheritance of the Culture;(3) it is the research center of the Culture. The research of the Three Kingdoms Culture is a topic worth considering in the process of Chengdu's growing into an International metropolis.

Epidemiology of Nosocomial Bacteremia Due to Bacteria from the “<i>Burkholderia cepacia</i>Complex” at Libreville University Hospital Center

Introduction: Burkholderia cepacia is a non-fermenting emergent bacterium common in nosocomial infections and can cause life-threatening infections whose multidrug resistance makes them a serious threat in hospitals. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of B. cepacia infections during nosocomial infections at Libreville University teaching hospital. Methodology: In this cross-sectional study, lasting 19 months, 412 blood cultures were analyzed. The BacT/ALERT 3D (Biomerieux, France) was used to detect the positivity of blood culture flasks and the Viteck 2 compact (Biomerieux, France) for the identification of germs and the study of their susceptibility to antibiotics. Results: Our study population consisted of 412 patients. The sex-ratio M/F was 1.06 in favor of the male gender (n = 201, 51%). The age of the patients varied between 0 and 82 years. The bacteremia of B. cepacia mainly affected children under 15 years of age with a prevalence of 7% (n = 28). The pediatric ward was more represented with a frequency of 36% (n = 10). The antibiotic sensitivity profile showed high resistance of 100% for aminoglycosides (amikacin, tobramycin, and gentamycin), tetracycline, beta-lactams (Amoxicillin, Imipenem, Ticarcillin, Cefoxitin and Cefotaxime), and ciprofloxacin. However, four molecules were active on B. cepacia (Levofloxacin 100%, Trimethoprim + sulfamethoxazole 92.3%, ceftazidime 80% and cefepime 35%). Conclusion: Ultimately, infection and multi-resistance due to Burkholderia cepacia calls for a review of hospital hygiene in the pediatric ward and a review of antibiotic therapy in young children.

Exploring the Chinese and Western Language Learning Cultures

This paper examines the difference between the Chinese language learning culture and the western language learning culture. Compared with the western learning culture,the Chinese learning culture is input-centered with two main characteristics:one is knowledge-centered and the other is teacher-centered. Under such learning cultural backgrounds,language teachers lay particular stress on the input of different kinds of knowledge and information while ignoring students 'necessary output. This kind of learning leads to "dumb English" for Chinese second-language learners. On the contrary,the western learning culture attaches great importance to develop students 'communicative competence,which is the ultimate aim of learning a language. The western language teachers utilize communicative approaches to improve students'communicative competence,which is absolutely practical in real-life situations. With closer contact with westerners,it is urgent for Chinese language teachers to blend the Chinese learning culture with the advantages of the western learning culture so as to develop students'communicative competence in English.

Diversity Centers of Rice Cultivar in Yunnan and Their Correlation with Ecological and Cultural Factors

Ecological and cultural factors have strong impacts on the distribution and cultivation of agricultural cultivar., In this paper, the correlation between diversity centers of rice cultivar and ecological, cultural factors was probed, based on datasets of rice cultivar in Yunnan, Southwest China. The results showed that diversity centers of rice cultivar were observed in Southwest Yunnan, South Yunnan and Southeast Yunnan, which may be related to the local culture of rice production and warm, humid climate. For the diversity center in South Yunnan, culture of rice production of Dai and Hani people may play important roles. The diversity center in Southwest Yunnan may relate to the culture of rice production of Dai, Jingpo and Lahu people, and for the diversity center in Southeast Yunnan, Miao, Yao and Zhuang people＇s culture in rice production can not be underestimated. Traditional culture promoted the cultivation of rice cultivars, and high diversity of rice cultivars facilitate the preservation and continuation of the traditional culture as well.

中国数字经济与文旅产业融合的协同关系及其影响因素

促进数字经济与文旅产业融合的协调适配是实现数字文旅高质量发展的关键路径,有效把握二者协同关系的时空演化特征及影响因素,对推动区域文旅产业转型升级、构建数字文旅产业发展新格局具有重要理论价值和现实意义。首先,在梳理两系统协同发展框架基础上构建综合评价体系;其次,运用协同关系测度模型、探索性空间数据分析刻画2011—2020年中国数字经济与文旅产业融合协同关系的时空演进特征;最后,采用时空地理加权回归方法识别其影响因素。结果表明:1)时序演进上,中国数字经济与文旅产业融合协同指数保持上升态势,从2011年的极低协同(0.180)提升至2020年的低级协同(0.279)。2)空间分布上,呈稳定的“东-中-西”递减梯度结构,空间协同特征与空间集聚特征显著。3)各解释变量对数字经济与文旅产业融合协同关系具有正向效应,政府调控和人力资本高值区在研究期末呈现自东向西扩散态势,而城镇化水平、技术实力和互联网供给能力在文旅资源禀赋优势更大、发展空间更具潜力的中部和西部地区表现出更明显的推动作用。

西安国际文化传播中心大跨斜幕墙支承结构设计

西安国际文化传播中心大跨斜幕墙支承采用竖向张弦桁架结构体系,结构造型独特新颖。对其结构选型和受力特点进行了重点介绍。采用MIDAS Gen软件建立有限元模型,进行非线性静力及抗震分析计算,同时采用ANSYS软件对考虑几何与材料双重非线性的结构整体稳定性进行了详细分析,探讨了安全系数取值等。分析结果及实际使用效果表明,幕墙支承满足正常使用的各项要求,并具有良好的抗震性能。
