Three diamine monomers with different derivatives of imidazole heterocyclic ring and meta-linked aryl ethers were synthesized and used in polycodensation reaction with various commercial dianhydrides for preparation of a series of novel poly(ether-imide) (PEI)s. The polycodensation reactions were carried out by using conventional method and in a green medium of ionic liquid (IL) without using NMP-pyridine-acetic anhydride. The PEIs were obtained in good yields (80%-96%) with moderate viscosity (0.48-0.66 dL/g) in a shorter reaction time (10 h) in IL as compared with the conventional method (36 h). All of the polymers were amorphous in nature, showed excellent solubility in amide-type polar aprotic solvents with ability to form tough and flexible films, and excellent thermal stability with Tgs in the range of 212-340℃ and 10% weight loss temperature (T10) up to 570℃ in N2 and 528 ℃ in air. 展开更多

Quantum chemical calculation was used to estimate the reduction potentials of 25 organic cations and the oxidation potentials of 11 anions.This information was used to select promising cations and anions for the preparation of ionic liquids as green electrolytes for electrodeposition of active metals.The reasonable linear correlations between the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)energies and the reduction potentials of cations,and the linear relationships between the oxidation potentials and the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)energies of anions were obtained.The orders of electrochemical stability for cations and anions being obtained agree well with the experimental measurements.The suitable ionic liquids with sufficiently wide electrochemical windows for electrodeposition of active metals are suggested to be[Emim]NTf2,[Bmim]NTf2,[Bmim]BF4, [Bmim]PF6,[Bmim]CTf3,[Emim]BF4,[Emim]PF6,[Emim]CTf3.. 展开更多

Revisiting Characteristics of Ionic Liquids: A Review for Further Application Development

In literature concerning ionic liquid (IL) applications, the commonly accepted properties of ionic liquids are frequently mentioned. For example, ionic liquids are described as possessing immeasurably low vapor pressure, being “green material”, non-coordinating, physically and chemically stable, and non-toxic, to name a few. However, all these descriptions are deemed “not exact” [1] as intensive research on ionic liquid properties continues. This review highlights the most recent developments in IL chemistry where the “well-known” description of IL properties sometimes proves to be inaccurate. However, in the authors’ opinion, all these new research developments concerning ionic liquid properties serve to update knowledge on the typical physical and chemical properties of ILs, which is significant to both theoretical research and industrial applications. This review presents an opportunity to understand IL through a more complete and accurate view. It seeks to pave the way for further studies on IL application in various fields. 展开更多

通过水热反应,一步合成了离子液体改性钴铁层状双金属氢氧化物(IL@Co/Fe-LDH)。利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FT-IR)、热重分析仪(TGA)和全自动比表面及孔隙率分析仪(BET)对其微观结构和官能团特... 通过水热反应,一步合成了离子液体改性钴铁层状双金属氢氧化物(IL@Co/Fe-LDH)。利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FT-IR)、热重分析仪(TGA)和全自动比表面及孔隙率分析仪(BET)对其微观结构和官能团特性进行表征。离子液体的改性增加了LDH表面活性位点,同时,由于离子液体的作用,部分LDH层板被破坏,呈孔状结构,增大了比表面积。孔雀石绿吸附试验显示,IL@Co/Fe-LDH的吸附量随温度升高而降低。吸附过程符合准二级动力学模型和Langmuir吸附等温模型,最大吸附量为282.48mg/g,高于常见吸附剂。热力学分析结果表明,IL@Co/Fe-LDH对孔雀石绿的吸附为自发进行的放热过程。5次吸附-解吸附循环后,材料对孔雀石绿的去除率仍高达87%,具有潜在的应用前景。 展开更多
