It is also an important theme for adapting and responding to global environmental change. Aiming at a thorough examination of the implementation of ITGP in China, this paper presents its objectives, its three major areas, and their progress so far. It also identifies the key elements of its management and proposes new perspectives on managing green transformation. For instance, we introduce a case study on cement industry that shows the positive policy effects of reducing backward production capacity on PCDD/Fs emissions. Finally,to develop different transformation scenarios for a green future, we propose four strategies: 1) policy integration for promoting green industry, 2)system innovation and a multidisciplinary approach, 3) collaborative governance with all potential stakeholders, and 4) managing uncertainty, risks, and long-time horizons.展开更多

The present study focuses on the patterns of urbanization process in Netherlands as a whole and within the “Green Heart” in particular. The present study finds over the last decades, the Green Heart is under attack from suburbanization of larger and smaller settlements as several political concessions have been made to local development needs. The Green Heart is also affected by the construction of new roads and railway lines. This infrastructure is built for tangential transport of an increasing volume of commuters. It is an ecological network with a unique natural and cultural heritage, an emotional human and political history, meaning and transformative power. Due to the former border situation, it is a transnational green infrastructure with biodiversity hotspots in a more and more fragmented, intensively used and degraded European landscape and connects people from 24 European countries and valuable landscapes. But now, nearly 30 years after the peaceful transition in 1989, the gaps in the European Green Belt cover already 50%. These gaps are not protected and are subject to adverse effects, like ongoing landscape fragmentation and ongoing chemo-industrial agriculture. High expression of GFP (green-fluorescent protein) was observed in transgenic cells as early as 42 h after co-culture with Agrobacterium. Most of the stable transformation events were detected in the cells of primary vascular tissue. GFP transient expression could be detected on all the explants after co-culturing for 4 d, however, the highest GFP stable expression was recorded when the explants were co-cultured for 3 d. We believe the transient and stable expression of a foreign gene in genetic transformation were two relative but different events, because high transient expression did not surely lead to high stable transformation. Under the same conditions of in vitro culture, transgenic and non-transgenic calli exhibited different morphological characters on different stages of development. High concentration of plant growth regulators (PGRs) was efficient for somatic embryogenesis of the transgenic calli, which means that the transgenic calli need relatively higher dose of hormone for further growth and somatic embryogenesis than non-transgenic ones. Strong GFP-expression was observed in leaf, stem, petioles, floral tissues, and seedlings of T~ progeny. Segregation ratios of eight transgenic lines were scored for expression of GFP in the T~ progeny that providing further evidence of stable transformation. These results proved that GFP is a powerful reporter gene for protocol optimization, selection, and monitioring in whole transformation events.展开更多

文摘The traditional economic growth mode of "three highs and one low(high input, high consumption, high pollution and low effi ciency)" makes China get the achievements of economic development and prosperity during the reform and opening up with more than 30 years, but behind this extensive mode of economic growth is excessive consumption of natural resources and a lot of greenhouse gases emissions, this not only limits the growth rate of China's economy, but makes a tremendous negative impact on the environment which is diffi cult for us to survive. Therefore, realizing industrial structure low-carbon effectively and developing a low-carbon economy characterized by "low-power, low consumption, low pollution and low emissions", become China's new target selection to transform economic development mode and realize the goal of optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and sustainable development.

文摘The green-fluorescent protein (gfp) gene was evaluated as a screening marker during cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) transforming and plant regeneration. These results proved that GFP is a powerful reporter gene for protocol optimization, selection, and monitioring in whole transformation events.
文摘1. Introduction Over the next few years, the manufacturing industry worldwide will face intense challenges, as finite supplies of raw materials dwindle and the cheap energy from fossil fuels becomes scarcer. Many conventional manufacturing processes will be outlawed on environmental grounds. For engineers and scientists, these inter- related problems also present an enormous opportunity. Robust new technologies are needed: They must be cost effective and energy efficient, and they must minimize pollution.
