The role of forest culture in green construction and management of forest parks:merging knowledge-attitude-practice and theory of planned behavior

As a cultural concept refl ecting the relationship between humans and forests,forest culture plays an active role in sustainable forest management.Forest parks provide a wide range of ecosystem services essential for the sustainable development of society,and the relationships between forest culture,green construction and management of forest parks have practical signifi cance.This study aimed to understand the interaction and process of forest culture infl uencing green construction and management in forest parks with the models Knowledge-Attitude-Practice(KAP)and Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB)by proposing a theoretical model.Four hypotheses were tested using data collected from 193 forest park employees in Heilongjiang Province,China.Our results show that forest culture had a signifi cant infl uence on green construction and forest management.In addition,subjective norm and perceived behavioral control directly impacted behavior in green construction and management of the forest park,whereas attitude did not have an impact.Subjective norm had a direct eff ect on attitude.Results between constructs show that forest culture had an indirect eff ect on planning and construction,and on ecological and economic management.Consequently,it supported three of four hypotheses within the proposed model in determining the infl uence of forest culture on green construction and management.

Greening the Supply Chain: Drivers and Outcomes in the Korean Manufacturing Industry

This research investigates the determinants of green supply chain management(GSCM)adoption and its impact on organizational performance,while considering the potential moderating factors influencing GSCM adoption.Despite the growing prevalence of GSCM practices among Korean firms,the factors driving their adoption have not received sufficient attention.To bridge this gap,the study uses structural equation modeling,integrating stakeholder theory and resource-based theory to explore how green entrepreneurial orientation(GEO),institutional pressure,and relational capital affect GSCM adoption.Additionally,the study explores the effects of GSCM implementation on competi­tiveness and economic performance.Drawing data from a sample of 213 Korean manufacturing firms,the PLS-SEM analysis highlights the significant influence of GEO,institutional pressure,and relational capital on GSCM adoption.Additionally,the study emphasizes the positive impact of GSCM implementation on firm competitiveness.These find­ings provide valuable insights for enhancing sustainability in supply chain management and are applicable to similar context countries such as Taiwan,China,Japan,and the Netherlands.

Realized new break-through on the basis of existing security management theory, tentatively and creatively carried out ＂realizing management theory of mine security production＂ and proposed ＂bridge＂ mode of realizing green management theory. Green management theory has an integrated system structure. The green management system of mine security production includes three parts, the foundation of green system, the supervision system of green system operation and the safeguard system of green system. The key of ＂bridge＂ mode is to analyze the existing insecurity factors in the process of security production and establish corresponding regulations.

Assessing green management performance of industrial enterprise:A case study of BH Petrochemical Co.,Ltd at the high-efficiency ecological economic zone of the Yellow River Delta

This paper puts forward the connotation of enterprise green management and green management performance evaluation,analyzes the characteristics of enterprise green management performance evaluation and decomposes its content.Using the triple performance method,the paper constructs the performance evaluation index system of enterprise green management.Taking BH Petrochemical Co.,Ltd.at the high-efficiency ecological economic zone of the Yellow River Delta as an example,by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and Matlab programming,this paper determines the weight of each index in the enterprise green management performance evaluation index system,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the green management performance evaluation of industrial enterprises.The results show that the performance evaluation index system of enterprise green management constructed by"triple performance method"has important theoretical significance and application value for evaluating and guiding enterprises to strengthen their green management.

A 3D theoretical model for green management:a case study of Chinese enterprises

Companies that not only abide by environmental regulations, but also discover new techniques and adopt newmanagement methods to reduce negative environmental impacts often have positive effects on corporate profitability. Inorder to meet the needs of sustainability of enterprises and protect environment, the concept of green management isdeveloped and regarded as an important direction of management theory of the 21st century. Though there are manytheories and practices about green management in western countries, they are built based on the developed marketeconomy, which are not suitable for Chinese enterprises absolutely. Optimum Design of Stair-Climbing Robots Using Taguchi Method

Environmental issues like pollution are major threats to human health.Many systems are developed to reduce pollution.In this paper,an optimal mobile robot design to reduce pollution in Green supply chain management system.Green supply chain management involves as similating environmentally and eco-nomically feasible solutions into the supply chain life-cycle.Smartness,advanced technologies,and advanced networks are becoming pillars of a sustainable supply chain management system.At the same time,there is much change happening in the logistics industry.They are moving towards a new logistics model.In the new model,robotic logistics has a vital role.The reasons for this change are the rapid growth of the e-commerce business and the shortage of workers.The advantages of using robotic logistics are reduction in human errors,faster delivery speed,better customer satisfaction,more safety for workers,and high workforce adaptability.A robot with rocker-bogie suspension is a six-wheeled mobile platform that has a distinctive potential to keep all wheels on the ground continuously.It has been designed to traverse rough and uneven terrain by distributing the load over its wheels equally.However,there is a limitation to achieving high-speed mobility against vertical barriers.In this research,an optimal design of product delivery wheeled robots for a sustainable supply chain system is proposed to ensure higher adaptability and maximum stability during climbing staircases.The design parameters of the proposed robot are optimized using Taguchi Method.The aim is to get a smooth trajectory of the robot’s center-of-mass.The proposed approach realizes a robot with much-improved stability which can climb over heights more than the size of the wheel(i.e.,3 times the radius of wheels).The results reveal that the modified rocker-bogie system not only increases the stair-climbing capability but also thwarts instability due to overturning of a wheel of the robot.

A Web Service Framework for Environmental and Carbon Footprint Monitoring in Construction Supply Chains

With the growing environmental concerns, green supply chain management （GSCM） is gaining significant attention in the construction industry. Tracking and monitoring the environmental effects brought forth by the participating members along a supply chain is important to GSCM. The GreenSCOR model developed by the Supply Chain Council provides a generic framework for measuring the total carbon footprint and environmental footprint in a supply chain. The model is based on the Supply Chain Operations Reference （SCOR） model, which represents a supply chain network in a hierarchically structured manner. This paper describes the GreenSCOR framework and its potential application to the construction industry. This paper also presents a web services approach to incorporate the GreenSCOR model to the implementation of collaborative information systems. Each process element in the SCOR model is represented and delivered as individual web service units, which can be reused and integrated using standard web services technologies. The service units are combined and managed in a prototype web service collaborative framework, called SC Collaborator, which is designed and developed for supporting construction supply chain management. An illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the implementation of the GreenSCOR-based SC Collaborator framework.

Sustainable water management for green infrastructure

The water is the most important component in the ecosystems responsible for energy flow and mass transport. The water also plays an important role for human existence. However, the constructed infrastructures such as roads, buildings, railways, drainage systems, etc. give negative impacts to the ecosystem such as deteriorating the water quality and changing the natural water circulation system.

Green managerial practices and green performance:A serial mediation model

This study examines the influence of green supply chain management(GSCM)practices and green culture on green performance in the manufacturing sector through the mediating effect of proactive environmental strategy(PES)and green product innovation(GPI).A quantitative approach was followed,and partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM)was used for hypothesis testing.A questionnaire was used to collect data,and 663 questionnaires were included in the final analysis.Contrary to our expectations,the results showed that GscM practices do not influence green performance,whereas green culture is positively related to green performance.The results show that PES and GPI explain the relationship between GSCM practices,green culture,and green performance.PES and GPI sequentially mediated GSCM practices,green culture,and green performance.Moreover,PES and GPI significantly improved green performance.This study aims to extend the scholarly appreciation of GscM practices and the impact of green culture on green performance by examining the mediating effects of PES and GPI on these relationships.The implications and future research avenues are also discussed.

Big Data Analytics for Improving Financial Performance and Sustainability

In this study,the key drivers of sustainability commitment,green supply chain management,big data integration and green human resource practice are explored,and the impact of these sustainable capabilities on the environmental and financial performance of banks is also elaborated.In addition,the influence of green management practices on integrating big data technology into operations is presented.As for the concept of dynamic ability,it has been used to recommend and empirically test conceptual models.Data were collected through a self-administrated survey questionnaire on 317 people working in 37 banks in six Asian countries.Research suggests that big data analytics strategies have an impact on internal processes and on the stability and financial performance of banks.Besides,it is indicated that banks are committed to proper data monitoring of their customers to complete operational efficiency and sustainability goals.Furthermore,our result proved that banks practicing Green Innovation strategies experience better environmental and economic performance because their employees are already trained in Green HR.Finally,from our study,it was found that internal and external green supply chain management practices have a positive effect on the environmental and financial performance of banks,thus ensuring that the bank of Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN)mitigates the environmental impact through its operations and ultimately experiences an increase in financial performance.
