Using Cellular Automata for Grid-Based Fishery Management

This report introduced new concept and technics for a grid-based fishery management system. The fishing ground was first divided into small grid of equal area, each with predefined longitudes and latitudes (both 0.033 degrees or approximately 2 × 2 nautical miles in this study). All grids were laid and formatted into a Microsoft-Excel spreadsheet system, as defined by the coastline. Individual sheets were also constructed to represent different ecological characters, serving as supporting data of the main grid-map. Including individual fishing record, water depth, wind & current vector, benthic character, etc. Cellular automata (CA) mathematics was applied for simulation studies. They were programmed on the built-in Visual BASIC langrage in EXCEL. In a three-year research project, the author was able to accomplish the following major results: 1) An EXCEL-based spreadsheet system for storage of fishing effort in each grid. Provided that data of fishing yield is also available for each grid, research model for fishery management can be constructed, leading toward solutions for total allowable catch (TAC) as well as maximum economic yield (MEY). 2) A multi-layered, 2-dimentional spread-sheet system demonstrating the distribution of relative intensity for individual grids. The system can be decked up with different ecological data for more advanced studies. 3) Estimation of the nearest distance between two special grids as well as fishing harbors. This would help in more efficient navigation management and allocation of fishing rights for the fishing vessels.

Effect of medical care linkage-continuous management mode in patients with posterior circulation cerebral infarction undergoing endovascular interventional therapy

BACKGROUND Acute cerebral infarction is a severe type of ischemic stroke that can be divided into anterior circulation cerebral infarction and posterior circulation cerebral infarction(PCCI).PCCI affects the structure of the posterior circulation brain,because posterior part of the brain,which has more complex anatomical structures and more prone to posterior circulation vascular variation.Therefore,improving the prognosis of PCCI patients is necessary.AIM To explore the effect of medical care linkage-continuous management mode(MCLMM)on endovascular interventional therapy(EIT)for PCCI.METHODS Sixty-nine patients with PCCI who received EIT and conventional nursing intervention were selected as the control group,and 78 patients with PCCI who received EIT and MCLMM intervention were selected as the observation group.The incidence of postoperative complications,compliance and disease selfmanagement behavior after six months of intervention,modified Rankin scale(mRS)and Barthel index(BI)scores in the acute phase and after one year of intervention,and recurrence within one year were compared between the two groups.RESULTS The total incidence rate of postoperative complications in the observation group(7.69%)was lower than that in the control group(18.84%)(P<0.05).The scores for medical compliance behavior(regular medication,appropriate diet,and rehabilitation cooperation rates)and disease self-management behavior(self-will,disease knowledge,and self-care ability)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After one year of intervention,in the observation group,the mRS score was significantly lower,and the BI score was significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate within one year in the observation group(3.85%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(13.04%)(P<0.05).CONCLUSION MCLMM can reduce the incidence of complications after EIT for PCCI,improve patient compliance behavior and disease self-management ability,and promote the recovery of neurological function.

Nitrogen and Phosphorus Loss Law and Emission Reduction Effects Under Water and Fertilizer Management Integrated Mode in Dike Paddy Field

To achieve the purpose of reducing farm non-point source pollution, we integrated site specific nitrogen management precise irrigation, controlled drainage, and wetland eco-repair system in dike area of Taihu basin. During investigation, it had given prominence for the water and fertilizer coupling effects of precise irrigation and site specific nutrient management, the characteristics of integration on controlled irrigation, controlled drainage and wetland ecosystem non-point source pollution control. Then the water and fertilizer integrated management mode of paddy field was put forward in Taihu basin where the water production efficiency increased to 1.64 kg. m-3, water saved 37.8%, fertilizer use efficiency raised 15,4%, yield raised 10%, and N, P load decreased 26%-72%. The modern agricultural and farmland ecosystems that control and cut down the farm non-point source pollution came into being, which can be a reference by Taihu basin to control its agricultural non-point source pollution and eutrophicated water body.

Base Station Energy Management in 5G Networks Using Wide Range Control Optimization

The traffic activity offifth generation(5G)networks demand for new energy management techniques that is dynamic deep and longer duration of sleep as compared to the fourth generation(4G)network technologies that demand always for varied control and data signalling based on control base station(CBS)and data base station(DBS).Hence,this paper discusses the energy management in wireless cellular networks using wide range of control for twice the reduction in energy conservation in non-standalone deployment of 5G network.As the new radio(NR)based 5G network is configured to transmit signal blocks for every 20 ms,the proposed algorithm implements withstanding capacity of on or off based energy switching,which in-turn operates in wide range control by carrying out reduced computational complexity.The proposed Wide range of control for base station in green cellular network using sleep mode for switch(WGCNS)algorithm toon and off the base station will work in heavy load with neighbouring base station.For reducing the overhead duration in air,heuristic versions of the algorithm are proposed at the base station.The algorithm operates based on the specification with suggested protocol-level to give best amount of energy savings.The proposed algorithm reduces 40%to 83%of residual energy based on the traffic pattern of the urban scenario.

Simulation research of energy management strategy for dual mode plug-in hybrid electrical vehicles

In this paper, a plug-in hybrid electrical vehicle(PHEV) is taken as the research object, and its dynamic performance and economic performance are taken as the research goals. Battery charge-sustaining(CS) period is divided into power mode and economy mode. Energy management strategy designing methods of power mode and economy mode are proposed. Maximum velocity, acceleration performance and fuel consumption are simulated during the CS period in the AVL CRUISE simulation environment. The simulation results indicate that the maximum velocity and acceleration time of the power mode are better than those in the economy mode. Fuel consumption of the economy mode is better than that in the power mode. Fuel consumption of PHEV during the CS period is further improved by using the methods proposed in this paper, and this is meaningful for research and development of PHEV.

Impact of failure mode and effects analysis-based emergency management on the effectiveness of craniocerebral injury treatment

BACKGROUND Craniocerebral injuries encompass brain injuries,skull fractures,cranial soft tissue injuries,and similar injuries.Recently,the incidence of craniocerebral injuries has increased dramatically due to the increased numbers of traffic accidents and aerial work injuries,threatening the physical and mental health of patients.AIM To investigate the impact of failure modes and effects analysis(FMEA)-based emergency management on craniocerebral injury treatment effectiveness.METHODS Eighty-four patients with craniocerebral injuries,treated at our hospital from November 2019 to March 2021,were selected and assigned,using the random number table method,to study(n=42)and control(n=42)groups.Patients in the control group received conventional management while those in the study group received FMEA theory-based emergency management,based on the control group.Pre-and post-interventions,details regarding the emergency situation;levels of inflammatory stress indicators[Interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),and procalcitonin(PCT)];incidence of complications;prognoses;and satisfaction regarding patient care were evaluated for both groups.RESULTS For the study group,the assessed parameters[pre-hospital emergency response time(9.13±2.37 min),time to receive a consultation(2.39±0.44 min),time needed to report imaging findings(1.15±4.44 min),and test reporting time(32.19±6.23 min)]were shorter than those for the control group(12.78±4.06 min,3.58±0.71 min,33.49±5.51 min,50.41±11.45 min,respectively;P<0.05).Pre-intervention serum levels of IL-6(78.71±27.59 pg/mL),CRP(19.80±6.77 mg/L),and PCT(3.66±1.82 ng/mL)in the study group patients were not significantly different from those in the control group patients(81.31±32.11 pg/mL,21.29±8.02 mg/L,and 3.95±2.11 ng/mL respectively;P>0.05);post-intervention serum indicator levels were lower in both groups than pre-intervention levels.Further,serum levels of IL-6(17.35±5.33 pg/mL),CRP(2.27±0.56 mg/L),and PCT(0.22±0.07 ng/mL)were lower in the study group than in the control group(30.15±12.38 pg/mL,3.13±0.77 mg/L,0.38±0.12 ng/mL,respectively;P<0.05).The complication rate observed in the study group(9.52%)was lower than that in the control group(26.19%,P<0.05).The prognoses for the study group patients were better than those for the control patients(P<0.05).Patient care satisfaction was higher in the study group(95.24%)than in the control group(78.57%,P<0.05).CONCLUSION FMEA-based craniocerebral injury management effectively shortens the time spent on emergency care,reduces inflammatory stress and complication risk levels,and helps improve patient prognoses,while achieving high patient care satisfaction levels.

Research on Teaching Mode of "Entrepreneurial Project Management" Course based on Flipped Classroom

Under the background of the era of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation”, innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities has been promoted to the focus of educational work. The establishment of self-improvement and entrepreneurship class in Wuhan University is an innovative education mode under the requirement of "Double Creation" education. The development of network information technology in the new era has given rise to the subversion and reform of teaching models. The appearance of flipped classrooms has broken the barrier of traditional education and provides a new train of thought for innovation and entrepreneurship teaching model reform in colleges and universities. This paper takes the self-improvement entrepreneurship class of Wuhan University as an example, introduces the flipped classroom into the course of "Entrepreneurial Project Management", and analyzes the application process of the flipped classroom in the course teaching from three aspects: before class, during class and after class, in order to provide a reference for the curriculum teaching reform and promote the teaching effect of innovation and entrepreneurship courses in colleges and universities.

Fever Outpatient Service of General Hospital Applies “1 + 3 + 3” Emergency Management Mode to Deal with COVID-19 Pandemic

Purpose: To discuss the effect of “1 + 3 + 3” emergency management mode to deal with COVID-19 pandemic in fever outpatient service of general hospitals. Method: This paper analyzes and summarizes the problems encountered by fever outpatient service in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic from three aspects of “One Team”, “Three-Key” Control and “Three Mosts”. Results: The application of “1 + 3 + 3” emergency management mode can effectively boost the orderliness and efficiency of fever outpatient service in dealing with COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: The “1 + 3 + 3” emergency management mode provides a new management mode and idea for dealing with COVID-19 pandemic, so the fever outpatient service of general hospitals can better improve the national overall anti-pandemic situation.

Application effect of safety hazard self-examination mode in nursing risk management in hepatobiliary surgery

Objective:To explore the application effect of safety hazard self-examination mode in nursing risk management in hepatobiliary surgery.Methods:Sixty patients underwent hepatobiliary surgery in two tertiary hospitals in Shandong Province from May 2021 to October 2021.According to the different implementation time,they were divided into 30 cases in the observation group and 30 cases in the control group.The control group adopts routine risk assessment,and the observation group adopts the self-examination mode of potential safety hazards on the basis of routine risk assessment to compare the incidence of nursing risk between the two groups.Results:The observation group had a significantly lower incidence of safety hazards in terms of missing surgical instruments,lack of aseptic operation,and postoperative pressure injuries than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The appropriate hazard self-examination mode in the hepatobiliary operation room is of positive significance to improve the safety awareness of operating staff and the comprehensive ability of operating room nurses.

Secondary Warehouse Management System of Medical Low Value Consumables under SPD Mode and its Working Method

Objective:To study the secondary warehouse management system and operation mode of medical low value consumables under SPD mode.Methods:From August 2018 to August 2019,the management mode of the secondary warehouse management system of medical low value consumables was selected.According to the management method,it can be divided into the observation group and the control group.The relevant data of the observation group was based on SPD mode,and the data of the control group was based on the traditional mode.According to the improvement of the two groups of data management effect,data integration and analysis are carried out to judge the effectiveness of the SPD mode of medical low value consumables secondary warehouse management system and its working mode.Results:During the analysis of the two groups of data,the relevant data were analyzed.The data validity of the observation group was higher(94.0%),and the differences of the limitations and problems in the management process had more advantages,while the relevant data corresponding to the two groups of data had significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:According to the current research results,Based on the collection,storage and central management of data electronic medical record information,the secondary warehouse management system of medical low value consumables under SPD mode is connected with clinical information system and management information system,which realizes the unification,resource integration and efficient operation of different business systems in the hospital,so as to help improve the quality and efficiency of medical care,prevent and reduce medical errors,Control and reduce medical expenses.

Application of Five-in-One Community Management Mode plus Wuhan’s Regional WeChat Platform in the Novel Coronavirus Control

In this study, the five-in-one community mass prevention and mass treatment group established in Wuhan to curb novel coronavirus outbreak in 2019 to 2020 is introduced. Various public health propaganda methods are used, including community loudspeakers and community bulletin boards. In the meantime, WeChat platform account named “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” is registered and opened, and a Group Chat on WeChat is created for grid management. A diversity of on-line and off-line countermeasures against the novel coronavirus outbreak are implemented via the WeChat platform: three-early measures (early discovery, early reporting, and early treatment), centralized management, community-based reporting, hierarchical diagnosis, and treatment system, isolation of mild patients at designated facilities, diagnosis and treatment appointment system for patients with fever, patient transferral in special vehicles, terminal disinfection at homes, psychological support and daily caring plan for special populations. This WeChat platform allows for an all-region, all-around, all-time and entire population-coverage control of novel coronavirus outbreak, with the extension and strengthening of health propaganda, guidance for seeking medical assistance, mass prevention and mass treatment, and health self-management among the community residents. Great effect has been achieved in novel coronavirus control so far. The five-in-one community management mode of Wuhan plus “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” plays an important role in relieving the shortage of health service resources and resolving the problem of limited service scope of professional medical staff in Wuhan, and ultimately contributes to the overall novel coronavirus control.
