The abdominal cavity extracted macrophages were pretreated with PBS, Boxb, TLR4 inhibitor(CLI-095), Dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) separately before A. fumigatus hyphae stimulation. HMGB1 was detected in normal and infected mice corneas and macrophages by real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR), the TLR4, My D88, interleukin-1β(IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) were detected by Western blot and PCR.RESULTS: In BALB/c mice corneas, the expressions of TLR4, HMGB1, IL-1β, TNF-α were increased after A. fumigatus infection. While pretreatment with Boxb significantly increased the expressions of TLR4, HMGB1, My D88, IL-1β, TNF-α compared with PBS control after infection. In BALB/c mice abdominal cavity extracted macrophages, pretreatment with Boxb increased the expressions of TLR4, HMGB1, My D88, IL-1β, TNF-α, while pretreatment with CLI-095 and Boxb significantly decreased the expressions of TLR4, HMGB1, My D88, IL-1β, TNF-α. CONCLUSION: In A. fumigatus keratitis, Boxb play a proinflammatory role in corneal anti-fungi immune response through the HMGB1-TLR4-My D88 signal pathway.展开更多

Gold nanoparticle-coated PGMA functional microspheres can be directly obtained via the adsorption process. The adsorption kinetics follows pseudo-second model, and 10 min is enough for reaching at equilibrium. The adsorption isotherm follows Langmuir model, and the adsorption amounts for Au(Ⅲ) are 8.25 and 21.75 mol·kg^-1 at 298 and 328 K, respectively. The relative separation coefficients between Au(Ⅲ), Pt(Ⅵ), Pd(Ⅱ)and Co(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ); Ni(Ⅱ), Fe(Ⅲ) are all higher than 100 when 1 〈 pH 〈 3. Furthermore, the characterization analysis of X-ray diffraction(XRD), thermogravimetrydifferential scanning calorimetry(TG-DSC), scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDS), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) confirms that AuCl4^-has been reduced to Au^0 nanoparticles and deposited onto the surface of PGMA-NH2. The current work shows a good prospect for PGMA-NH2 to be a valid adsorbent for the recovery of gold and the possible fabrication of gold nanoparticles by reduction-deposition process without any reductant.展开更多

Six phenoxy-imine Ti(IV) complexes {6-R^1-2-[CH=N(2,6-difluoro-3,5-diR^2-4-R^3Ph)]C6H30}2TiCl2 (1: R^1 = H, R^2 = H, R^3 = H; 2: R^1 = H, R^2 = H, R%3 = 4-vinylphenyl; 3: R^1 = CH3, R^2 = H, R^3 = H; 4: R^1 = CH3, R^2 = H, R^3 = 4-vinylphenyl; 5: R^1 = CH3, R^2 = F, R^3 = H; 6: R^1 = CH3, R^2 = F, R^3 = 4-vinylphenyl) have been synthesized and evaluated for ethylene polymerization using dried MAO (simplified as DMAO) as cocatalyst. An obvious catalytic heterogeneity of Cat 2 (Complex 2/DMAO) towards ethylene polymerization was observed, which was illustrated by decreased activity, multi- modal molecular weight distribution and partially improved particle morphology comparing with Cat 1. Moreover, Cat 3 exhibits "living" characteristics in the process under certain conditions (25 ~C, less than 20 min). Otherwise, the moderate to high ethylene polymerization activity of ca. 105-106 g PE/(mol Ti'h) and high molecular weight (Mw = 105-106) of polyethylene can be obtained by changing the skeleton structure of these complexes.展开更多

After rovibrational interactions being considered, the eigenvalue expression of the Hamiltonian has the form of term value equation commonly used in spectrum analysis. The molecular rotational constants can be obtained by using the expression and fitting it to the observed lines. As an example, the rotational levels ofv 2 band for transition (0200–0110) of molecules N2O and HCN have been fitted and the fitting root-mean-square errors (RMS) are 0.00001 and 0.0014 cm?1, respectively.展开更多

Methods: Senescenceaccelerated mouse prone 8(SAMP8) mice were used as AD models and received EA at Yingxiang(LI 20, bilateral) and Yintang(GV 29) points for 20 days. For certain experiments, SAMP8 mice were injected intravenously with human fibrin(2 mg). The Morris water maze test was used to assess cognitive and memory abilities. The changes of tight junctions of blood-brain barrier(BBB) in mice were observed by transmission electron microscope. The expressions of fibrin, amyloid-β(Aβ), and ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1(IBa-1) in mouse hippocampus(CA1/CA3) were detected by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR), Western blot or immunohistochemical staining. The expression of fibrin in mouse plasma was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The expressions of tight junction proteins zonula occludens-1 and claudin-5 in hippocampus were detected by qRT-PCR and immunofluorescence staining.Apoptosis of hippocampal neurons was detected by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) staining. Results: Fibrin was time-dependently deposited in the hippocampus of SAMP8mice and this was inhibited by EA treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Furthermore, EA treatment suppressed the accumulation of Aβ in the hippocampus of SAMP8 mice(P<0.01), which was reversed by fibrin injection(P<0.05 or P<0.01). EA improved SAMP8 mice cognitive impairment and BBB permeability(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Moreover, EA decreased reactive oxygen species levels and neuroinflammation in the hippocampus of SAMP8mice, which was reversed by fibrin injection(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Mechanistically, EA inhibited the promoting effect of fibrin on the high mobility group box protein 1(HMGB1)/toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) and receptor for advanced glycation end products(RAGE)/nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH) signaling pathways(P<0.01). Conclusion: EA may potentially improve cognitive impairment in AD via inhibition of fibrin/Aβdeposition and deactivation of the HMGB1/TLR4 and RAGE/NADPH signaling pathways.展开更多

The bandwidth utilization efficiency can be improved and the quality of service for delay-sensitive variable bit rate traffic such as high rate motion picture experts group (MPEG)-4 traffic can be guaranteed by a simple and efficient algorithm that dynamically sets the burst size of the delayed-acknowledgement (Dly-ACK) based on the I EEE 802.15.3 standard. The burst size was adjusted in response to the wireless channel quality. Furthermore, the burst size was bounded by a maximum acknowledgement burst size setting and the remaining number of un-received blocks of a current supra-block. Simulation results show that the method achieves significant performance enhancement in the job failure rate and throughput compared to immediate-acknowledgement (Imm-ACK) and other fixed burst size Dly-ACK schemes. This algorithm can also be applied in generalized time division multiple access (TDMA) systems by using the block acknowledgement mechanism for delay sensitive traffic.展开更多

The electrochemical behavior, structure characterization, thermal properties and surface morphology of this novel polymer were systematically investigated by cyclic voltammetry(CV), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), thermogravimetry(TG) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM), respectively. Electrochemistry results demonstrated that PEDOT-Me NH2 film displayed good redox properties and high electrochemical stability. Besides, PEDOT-Me NH2 films exhibited the electrochromic nature with obvious color changing from purple in the reduced form to blue upon oxidation. By further investigation, kinetic studies revealed that PEDOT-Me NH2 film had decent contrast ratio(41.8%), favorable coloration efficiency(152.1 cm^2·C^-1), low switching voltages and moderate response time(2.4 s). Satisfactory results implied that the obtained PEDOT-Me NH2 film is a promising optoelectronic material and holds promise for electrochromic devices and display applications.展开更多

After rovibrational interactions being considered, the eigenvalue expression of the Hamiltonian has the form of term value equation commonly used in spectrum analysis. The molecular rotational constants can be obtained by using the expression and fitting it to the observed lines. As an example, the rotational levels ofv 2 band for transition (0200–0110) of molecules N2O and HCN have been fitted and the fitting root-mean-square errors (RMS) are 0.00001 and 0.0014 cm?1, respectively.

文摘Objective: To investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the beneficial effect of electroacupuncture(EA) in experimental models of Alzheimer’s disease(AD) in vivo. Conclusion: EA may potentially improve cognitive impairment in AD via inhibition of fibrin/Aβdeposition and deactivation of the HMGB1/TLR4 and RAGE/NADPH signaling pathways.
文摘Although ultra-wideband transmission rates are very high in the physical layer, the bandwidth utilization efficiency is very low in the medium access control (MAC) layer. This algorithm can also be applied in generalized time division multiple access (TDMA) systems by using the block acknowledgement mechanism for delay sensitive traffic.

文摘We herein report the electrosynthesis of an aminomethyl functionalized poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT) derivative, poly(2'-aminomethyl-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT-Me NH2), in CH2Cl2-Bu4NPF6(0.1 mol·L^-1) system containing 2% boron trifluoride diethyl etherate(BFEE). Satisfactory results implied that the obtained PEDOT-Me NH2 film is a promising optoelectronic material and holds promise for electrochromic devices and display applications.
