The early detection of these signals provides useful information that could prevent the occurrence of severe diseases. Here, we employed surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) probe gold nanorods(GNRs) as a tool for the early detection of inflammatory molecules in inflamed cells. A murine macrophage cell line(Raw264.7) stimulated with lipopolysaccharide(LPS) was used as a model in this study. The prepared SERS probe GNRs containing 4-mercaptobenzoic acid as a Raman reporter to generate SERS signals were used for detection of intracellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) in macrophages after treatment with LPS for varying lengths of time. Our results show that SERS probe GNRs could detect significant differences in the expression of ICAM-1 molecules in LPS-treated macrophages compared to those in untreated macrophages after only 1 h of LPS treatment. In contrast, when using fluorescent labeling or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA) to detect ICAM-1, significant differences between inflamed and un-inflamed macrophages were not seen until the cells had been treated with LPS for 5 h. These results indicate that our SERS probe GNRs provide a higher sensitivity for detecting biomarker molecules in inflamed macrophages than the conventional fluorescence and ELISA techniques, and could therefore be useful as a potential diagnostic tool for managing disease risk.展开更多
The new ligand bis-(1,4-sodium thiolactate) butane (L)-O2CCH3S-(CH2)4SCHCH3CO2- has been prepared from the reaction of disodium salt of thiolactic acid and 1,4-dichlorobutane, while the disodium thiolactate was ...The new ligand bis-(1,4-sodium thiolactate) butane (L)-O2CCH3S-(CH2)4SCHCH3CO2- has been prepared from the reaction of disodium salt of thiolactic acid and 1,4-dichlorobutane, while the disodium thiolactate was prepared instanteously through the reaction of thiolactic acid with NaOH. Mono and dinuclear complexes were obtained by direct reaction of the above ligands with H[AuCI4] in 1 : 1, 2:1, 1:2, 2:2 and 3:1 ligands to metal molar ratio. The prepared complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, spectral studies FTIR (Fourier transform Infrared) and UV-Vis, magnetic measurement, conductivity measurement and IHNMR for the ligand (L) and some of the complexes. The conductance data indicate that the complexes of the formulas Na[Au(SCH3CHCOO)2], Na[Au(SCH3CHCOO)(OOCCHCH3SH)2] and [Au(L)]Cl are 1:1 electrolyte. Electronic spectra and magnetic moment values indicate the presence of square planner geometry around Au(III) ions.展开更多
The Qiyugou explosive breccia type gold deposits of northwestern Songxian, Henan Province is situated at the East Qinling, on the southern margin of the North China Platform.The basement rocks are the Archean Taihua G...The Qiyugou explosive breccia type gold deposits of northwestern Songxian, Henan Province is situated at the East Qinling, on the southern margin of the North China Platform.The basement rocks are the Archean Taihua Group gneisses which were overlaid by the Proterozoic Xionger Group metaandesites. NW-and NE-trending folds and fractures are well developed. Nlagmatism of the Mid-Late Yanshan Epoch led to the formation of the Huashan granite batholith and a variety of acid/alkali dykes, meanwhile more than thirty explosive breccia bodies had been brought about. The most important deposit type is the explosive breccia type represented by the Qiyugou deposit, meanwhile there are structure fracture altered rock type,the goldbearing quartz vein type, as well as porphyry-breccia type. All these types are the terminal products of the evolution and differentiation of the syntectic magma originated from lower crust or upper mantle.
