In 2005,the Guojiawan site located in Hanbin district,Ankang City,had been excavated for the second time by the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology.Different from the remains excavated in 1972 which can be cla...In 2005,the Guojiawan site located in Hanbin district,Ankang City,had been excavated for the second time by the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology.Different from the remains excavated in 1972 which can be classified as the Miaodigou type,the characteristics of pottery excavated this time show that they should belong to the Banpo type of the Yangshao Culture.In addition,these remains are similar to those Yangshao Culture remains from the southern part of Shaanxi province.As one of the few prehistoric sites excavated in recent years,the Guojiawan site enriches the understanding of the Neolithic Age remains in the basin of Han River.Abundant pottery and stone artifacts also provide important materials for the study of pre-historical cultures in the southern region of Shaanxi province.展开更多
