Sensing the heavy water concentration in an H_(2)O-D_(2)O mixture by solid-solid phononic crystals

A new method based on phononic crystals is presented to detect the concentration of heavy water(D_(2)O)in an H_(2)O-D_(2)O mixture.Results have been obtained and analyzed in the concentration range of 0%-10%and 90%-100%D_(2)O.A proposed structure of tungsten scatterers in an aluminum host is studied.In order to detect the target material,a cavity region is considered as a sound wave resonator in which the target material with different concentrations of D_(2)O is embedded.By changing the concentration of D_(2)O in the H_(2)O-D_(2)O mixture,the resonance frequency undergoes a frequency shift.Each 1%change in D_(2)O concentration in the H_(2)O-D_(2)O mixture causes a frequency change of about 120 Hz.The finite element method is used as the numerical method to calculate and analyze the natural frequencies and transmission spectra of the proposed sensor.The performance evaluation index shows a high Q factor up to 1475758 and a high sensitivity up to 13075,which are acceptable values for sensing purposes.The other figures of merit related to the detection performance also indicate high-quality performance of the designed sensor. 展开更多

热态气体的临界击穿场强是评估高压断路器弧后电击穿特性的基础数据,文中研究了C_(5)F_(10)O/CO_(2)混合气体在C_(5)F_(10)O混合比例k=0~10%、压强0.1~2.0 MPa、温度300~4 000 K范围内的临界击穿场强。基于质量作用定律数学模型,得到不... 热态气体的临界击穿场强是评估高压断路器弧后电击穿特性的基础数据,文中研究了C_(5)F_(10)O/CO_(2)混合气体在C_(5)F_(10)O混合比例k=0~10%、压强0.1~2.0 MPa、温度300~4 000 K范围内的临界击穿场强。基于质量作用定律数学模型,得到不同温度下混合气体的平衡组分,采用两项近似方法求解玻尔兹曼方程,分析混合气体的电子能量分布函数、折合电离和吸附系数,获得混合气体的临界折合击穿场强和临界击穿场强。结果表明:0.6 MPa下,温度低于3 000 K时,随着温度降低,k=0~10%混合气体的临界击穿场逐渐低于SF_(6);在温度高于3 000 K时,混合气体的临界击穿场强为SF_(6)的1.2倍以上,具有较强的绝缘能力。研究结果可为C_(5)F_(10)O/CO_(2)混合气体高压断路器弧后电击穿特性研究提供参考。 展开更多

The ferrites of Cuo-ZnO-Fe2o3 solid solution series near the molar ratio of ZnxCu1-x were prepared by direct heating of their coprecipitated hydroxides using NH4OH as precipitating agent where x=0.0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8 and 1.0. Additional amounts of Cu and Zn sulphates were added to compensate the loss during the coprecipitation of the hydroxides. The ferritized samples were characterized by chemical analysis, XRD. DTA, TGA and SEM. XRD of both Zn0.2Cu0.8Fe2O4 and Zn0.5Cu0.5 Fe2O4 that indicates the formation of a heterogeneous ferrite material of ZnFe2O4 and CuFe2O4 mixed with variable amounts of α-Fe2O3. Zn and Cu ferrites were observed only in Zn0.8Cu0.2Fe2O4.From TGA-time relation, the activation energy of the different transformation phases were calculated. It is found that, the activation energy of ZnFe2O4 is slightly equal to 3/2 of that for CuFe2O4. Dielectric measurements show that the electrical behaviour depends on the ordering and disordering of the phases. 展开更多

A glass crusher was developed to improve the waste glass crushing process.The waste glass was recycled,crushed and sieved to different particle sizes as glass aggregates,and the surface of glass aggregates was treated by nano-Fe2O3 suspension to improve the anti-striping property.The glasphalt mixture made by partly replacing mineral aggregates with glass aggregates was designed and evaluated.The sizes of glass aggregates were selected to be 2.36 and 4.75 mm,and the optimum concentration of nano-Fe2O3 suspension was determined to be 10%.The optimum asphalt content(OAC)was determined by the Marshall method and the glass aggregate content.The influence of the glass aggregate content on the technical properties of glasphalt mixtures were analyzed by the rutting test,three-point bending test,freeze-thaw splitting test and skid resistance test.The results show that the optimal content of glass aggregates and OAC are recommended to be 15%and 4.4%,respectively.These environmentally-friendly glasphalt mixtures can solve the problem of environmental pollution caused by waste glass,as well as reducing the cost of pavement materials and construction. 展开更多

C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体具有在中低压气体设备中应用的潜力,设备运行中因固体绝缘表面金属异物存在引发的沿面放电,是绝缘劣化及故障发生的隐患之一,研究C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体沿面放电的分解特性对设备的运维具有重要意义。为此,文中开展不同实验电压下C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体沿面放电分解实验,利用气相色谱法对分解组分进行定量分析,获得了不同放电强度下主要分解组分种类及其分解特性,讨论了产气速率与放电强度间的关系。结果表明:C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体沿面放电主要分解产物为CF_(4)、C_(2)F_(6)、C_(3)F_(8)、C3F7H和C_(3)F_(6);各产物分解特性相似,体积分数随放电量体现“线性—饱和”增长趋势,30 kV下对应饱和体积分数分别为21.3、7.0、11.9、7.7、13.7μL/L;主要组分产气速率关系为:v(CF_(4))>v(C_(3)F_(6))>v(C_(3)F_(8))>v(C3F7H)>v(C_(2)F_(6)),其中CF_(4)产气速率从1.2(μL·L^(-1))/12 h增至3.1(μL·L^(-1))/12 h,与放电量关联性最好,可作为沿面放电下放电强度的判定依据。研究可为C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体绝缘设备的工程应用方案提供参考。 展开更多

目前,C_(6)F_(12)O环保绝缘介质已在气体开关柜中得到应用,选择合适的多孔材料对C_(6)F_(12)O混合气体分解产物吸附处理,既能保证开关柜的稳定运行,也可为大力推广C_(6)F_(12)O环保气体开关柜的应用提供安全保障。本文通过气体吸附实验... 目前,C_(6)F_(12)O环保绝缘介质已在气体开关柜中得到应用,选择合适的多孔材料对C_(6)F_(12)O混合气体分解产物吸附处理,既能保证开关柜的稳定运行,也可为大力推广C_(6)F_(12)O环保气体开关柜的应用提供安全保障。本文通过气体吸附实验探究ZSM-5分子筛对C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体模拟过热故障后分解产物的吸附性能及对两种主要绝缘介质C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)浓度的影响;同时,基于分子动力学仿真模拟吸附过程,计算浓度分布函数、径向分布函数、扩散系数等动力学参数以厘清吸附机理。实验结果表明:模拟过热故障后C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体的主要分解产物为C_2F_6、C_3F_8、C_4F_(10)、C_3F_6、C_3F_7H、C_5F_(12)和C_6F_(14)。ZSM-5分子筛对大部分分解产物都有吸附作用,对C_3F_8、C_4F_(10)、C_3F_7H这3种分解气体吸附性能优异,吸附率均超过80%;对C_2F_6、C_3F_6分解气体有一定的吸附能力,但吸附效果不明显;对C_5F_(12)、C_6F_(14)分解气体基本不吸附。实验前主绝缘介质C_6F_(12)O、CO_(2)浓度较高,ZSM-5分子筛对其浓度影响较小,实验后吸附率分别为1.77%和0.25%。理论计算结果表明:ZSM-5分子筛能够很好地吸附动力学直径与自身孔径相当的气体分子(C_2F_6、C_3F_8、C4F1_0、C_3F_6、C_3F_7H),对于体积过小或过大的气体分子(CO_(2)、CF_4、C5F1_2、C6F1_2O、C_6F_(14))吸附作用不明显。ZSM-5分子筛可用于C_(6)F_(12)O环保绝缘气体开关柜中对分解产物进行吸附处理,以保证设备安全稳定运行;同时,为相关电力防护设备中过滤材料的选择提供参考。 展开更多

A solid ternary mixture consisting of NaF,silicon and one metal oxide such as La2O3,CeO2,Pr6O11,Nd2O3,and Y2O3 was prepared and usedas de-fluorinated reagent for CF4 decomposition.The results show that 90% conversion of CF4 can be reached initially over NaF-Si-La2O3,NaF-Si-CeO2,NaF-Si-Nd2O3,and NaF-Si-Y2O3 at 850 C.The fresh and used reagents were characterized using XRD and XPS techniques.It was found that the active components of NaF and metal oxides in NaF-Si-CeO2,NaF-Si-Pr6O11,NaF-Si-Nd2O3,and NaF-Si-Y2O3 weretransformed into inert phases of mixed metal fluorides and silicates,respectively,resulting in an ineffective utilization of these de-fluorinatedreagents,whereas no inert phases from NaF and La2O3 can be observed in the used NaF-Si-La2O3,indicating the NaF-Si-La2O3 reagent couldbe utilized more efficiently than the other reagents in CF4 decomposition. 展开更多

Toward accurate density and interfacial tension modeling for carbon dioxide/water mixtures

Phase behavior of carbon dioxide/water binary mixtures plays an important role in various CO2-based industry processes. This work aims to screen a thermodynamic model out of a number of promising candidate models to capture the vapor–liquid equilibria, liquid–liquid equilibria, and phase densities of CO2/H2O mixtures. A comprehensive analysis reveals that Peng–Robinson equation of state (PR EOS) (Peng and Robinson 1976), Twu α function (Twu et al. 1991), Huron–Vidal mixing rule (Huron and Vidal 1979), and Abudour et al. (2013) volume translation model (Abudour et al. 2013) is the best model among the ones examined;it yields average absolute percentage errors of 5.49% and 2.90% in reproducing the experimental phase composition data and density data collected in the literature. After achieving the reliable modeling of phase compositions and densities, a new IFT correlation based on the aforementioned PR EOS model is proposed through a nonlinear regression of the measured IFT data collected from the literature over 278.15–477.59 K and 1.00–1200.96 bar. Although the newly proposed IFT correlation only slightly improves the prediction accuracy yielded by the refitted Chen and Yang (2019)’s correlation (Chen and Yang 2019), the proposed correlation avoids the inconsistent predictions present in Chen and Yang (2019)’s correlation and yields smooth IFT predictions. 展开更多

C_(5)F_(10)O气体具有优异的绝缘和环保特性,在中低压电气设备中作为绝缘介质使用具有很好的应用前景,但C_(5)F_(10O)与气体绝缘设备中常用的三元乙丙橡胶密封材料的相容性在其工程应用前仍待研究。为此通过搭建橡胶相容性试验平台,使用热加速老化的方法研究了C_(5)F_(10)O/CO_(2)混合气体与三元乙丙橡胶的相容性,并测试了试验后气体成分的变化、三元乙丙橡胶的机械特性、表面形貌和元素变化。研究发现,在热老化条件下三元乙丙橡胶会与C_(5)F_(10)O和C_(3)F_(6)反应,使C_(5)F_(10)O气体分解产生的C_(3)F_(6)减少,但同时会使C_(5)F_(10)O气体分解产生的C_(3)F_(6)O和C_(3)HF_(7)增多;老化试验结束后三元乙丙橡胶表面覆盖了一层油性物质,老化试验会使三元乙丙橡胶脆化降低其机械性能,表面会析出大量晶体颗粒;C_(5)F_(10O)气体腐蚀三元乙丙橡胶后,会加速三元乙丙橡胶的老化造成其使用寿命缩短。相关试验结果将会对C_(5)F_(10)O气体绝缘设备的设计和制造过程提供参考。 展开更多

由于C_(6)F_(12)O具有优良的绝缘性能和环保特性,受到国内外SF_(6)替代气体领域内学者们的广泛关注。为探索C_(6)F_(12)O混合气体应用的最优方案,研究O_(2)对C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体绝缘性能和分解特性的影响。搭建气体工频击穿试... 由于C_(6)F_(12)O具有优良的绝缘性能和环保特性,受到国内外SF_(6)替代气体领域内学者们的广泛关注。为探索C_(6)F_(12)O混合气体应用的最优方案,研究O_(2)对C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体绝缘性能和分解特性的影响。搭建气体工频击穿试验平台对不同O_(2)混合比、不同气压的C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体进行工频击穿试验研究,使用气相色谱质谱联用仪(GC-MS)定性定量分析150次工频击穿后混合气体的分解产物,同时观察击穿后电极表面固体物质析出量的变化,探讨应用于工程的C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体的O_(2)混合比与气压范围。研究结果表明,C_(6)F_(12)O/CO_(2)混合气体中加入3%~7%的O_(2)可以较好地提升气体绝缘性能,此外加入O_(2)在击穿放电时能够抑制固体碳的析出,降低高毒性物质C_(3)F_(6)的体积分数,但是会促进C_(6)F_(12)O的分解,使得CF_(4)、C_(2)F_(6)、COF_(2)、CO的体积分数上升。综合考虑绝缘性能和分解特性后认为气压范围为0.1~0.18 MPa,O_(2)混合比为3%~5%的C_(6)F_(12)O-CO_(2)-O_(2)混合气体具有一定的工程实用价值。 展开更多

The conditions of ZnO-Al2O3 aqueous suspensions and slip casting were optimized to obtain dense green compacts and further to obtain high density ZnO-Al2O3 ceramic composites.The Zeta potential of raw powders was measured.ZnO and Al2O3 powders have lower Zeta potential than-45 mV commonly at pH 8-10.3 with polyacrylic acid(PAA)added.The influence of pH and the mass fraction of the additives on the stability and fluidity of the suspensions added with PAA and polyethylene glycol(PEG) was investigated by experiments of viscosity and sedimentation.The suspensions have the lowest viscosity and the best stability at pH 9 with 0.2%PAA(mass fraction).The maximum density of green compacts is 66.6%of theoretical density(TD)with compacting and homogeneous green particles.An ultrahigh density sintered compact(>99.6%TD)could be obtained after pressureless sintering at 1 400℃for 2 h. 展开更多

C_(6)F_(12)O具有优异的绝缘和环保性能,因此具有在中低压开关设备中作为绝缘介质应用的潜力。为了评估C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体在设备中长期安全稳定使用的可行性,需要研究其与设备内部中常用密封橡胶之间的相容性。该文通过搭建相容性试验平台,对C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体与丁腈橡胶进行热加速试验研究,分别采用傅里叶变换红外光谱仪和扫描电镜检测气体分解产物和丁腈橡胶表面形貌;同时基于密度泛函理论(DFT)对气体分解产物的生成路径进行模拟,并对丁腈橡胶分子与C_(6)F_(12)O分子之间的相互作用进行计算。试验结果表明在高温(90℃和110℃)试验后,丁腈橡胶与C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体不相容。丁腈橡胶表面析出大量的白色晶体颗粒,并且生成了C_(3)F_(6)、NF_(3)和CS_(2)气体副产物;理论计算也表明升高温度会促进丁腈橡胶分子发生分解,并且C_(6)F_(12)O与丁腈橡胶之间的气固反应具有形成新物质的趋势。该文的研究成果对C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体在工程上的应用具有重要的指导意义。 展开更多

C6F12O混合气体具有良好的绝缘性能,被认为具有较大潜力在中低压电气开关设备中作为绝缘介质使用。C_(6)F_(12)O与设备气室密封材料之间良好的相容性是保障设备长期安全稳定运行的关键之一。为此通过实验研究不同温度下,C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体与常用密封橡胶(三元乙丙橡胶(ethylene propylene diene monomer,EPDM)、丁腈橡胶(nitrile butadiene rubber,NBR)和氟橡胶(fluororubber,FKM))之间相容性,并通过气相色谱质谱仪分析混合气体的组分,扫描电镜、X射线光电子能谱和拉伸应力机检测橡胶材料的性质变化。同时搭建C_(6)F_(12)O与橡胶分子链的仿真模型,从分子层面计算分析C_(6)F_(12)O在橡胶材料中的扩散和吸附作用。实验结果发现随着实验温度升高,C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体与3种橡胶材料反应均生成了C_(3)F_(6)、C_(3)F_(7)H,并且还与FKM生成了CS_(2)气体副产物。同时EPDM表面出现了密集的褶皱,而NBR表面则析出了大量晶体颗粒,大量F元素积累在橡胶表面上,并且实验后EPDM和NBR的力学性能都大幅度下降。FKM表面结构和力学性能受C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体影响较小。理论计算发现升高温度能够促进C6F12O与橡胶中的扩散和吸附,并且在90℃下,C_(6)F_(12)O在EPDM中的扩散系数(8.912×10^(-11)m/s^(2))和吸附能最高(317.436kJ/mol),与FKM的吸附能最低。因此,综合分析实验和理论计算结果,C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)与FKM之间的相容性更好。该研究成果可为C_(6)F_(12)O/N_(2)混合气体相关设备材料选择提供重要的指导意义。 展开更多

The supercritical H2O/CO2 mixture is the working fluid to drive a turbine in a novel power generation system with coal gasified in supercritical water.This system is promising because of zero pollution emission in contrast to the conventional coal-fired power plant.Heat transfer coefficients of the supercritical H2O/CO2 mixtures are important to design heat transfer devices in this system,which is similar to the role of heat transfer to supercritical water in conventional systems.However,heat transfer to supercritical mixtures has received less attention.Here,we show that the supercritical mixtures with H2O being one of the components,have similar convection heat transfer behavior to supercritical pure fluids for temperatures and pressures above the critical point of H2O.This phenomenon was demonstrated from two aspects.Firstly,the forced convection heat transfer coefficients of supercritical mixtures were numerically calculated using the simulation model for supercritical pure fluids and using the thermophysical properties(density,heat capacity,thermal conductivity and viscosity)of supercritical mixtures as input.The calculated results agree well with experimental data in the supercritical region.Secondly,the calculated results also agree well with the correlations for supercritical pure fluids.The mechanisms were investigated by molecular dynamics simulations on the diffusion of supercritical mixtures.These results lay the foundation for predicting convection heat transfer coefficients of supercritical mixtures and for designing heat transfer devices with supercritical mixtures as heat transfer fluids. 展开更多

The viscosities for the selected CaO-MgO-SiO2 and CaO-MgO Al2 O3-SiO2 slags were measured by rota- ting cylinder method in a wide temperature range from 1608 K to 1 823 K. The effects of temperature, slag basicity and Al2 O3 content were studied. The results indicated that the viscosity decreased with increasing the slag basicity at the same temperature. And the viscosities of the slag initially increased linearly with increasing Al2 O3 content in the slags and then decreased as the Al2 O3 content in the slags continued to increase. Al2 O3 addition has a more signifi- cant effect on the viscosity than slag basicity in the selected slags. Based on the experimental data and the fraction of solid phases calculated by the thermodynamic software, the effect of solid phases on slag viscosity was evaluated. The results indicated that the relationship between the relative viscosity and the volume fraction of solid phases esti- mated from the slag composition can be reasonable by allowing the inverse maximum fraction of solid particles to vary. 展开更多

Objective Scorpion (Hemiscorpius lepturus) stings are a public health concern in Iran, particularly in south and southwestern regions of Iran. The gold standard for the treatment of a scorpion sting is anti-venom therapy. However, immunotherapy can have serious side effects, such as anaphylactic shock (which can sometimes even lead to death). The aim of the current study was to demonstrate the protective effect of ozone against toxicity induced by Hemiscorpius lepturus (H. lepturus) venom in mice. Methods Eight hours after the injection of ozone to the experimental design groups, the male mice were decapitated and mitochondria were isolated from five different tissues (liver, kidney, heart, brain, and spinal cord) using differential ultracentrifugation. Then, assessment of mitochondrial parameters including mitochondrial reactive oxidative species (ROS) production, mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), ATP level, and the release of cytochrome c from the mitochondria was performed. Results Our results showed that H. lepturus venom-induced oxidative stress is related to ROS production and MMP collapse, which is correlated with cytochrome c release and ATP depletion, indicating the predisposition to the cell death signaling. Conclusion In general, ozone therapy in moderate dose can be considered as clinically effective for the treatment of H. lepturus sting as a protective and antioxidant agent. 展开更多

对暴露在1.1、3.1MPa(相当100、300m水深)氦、氧混合气和0.9、0.7MPa压缩空气环境减压后患减压病的豚鼠、兔和狗进行连续观察,发现动物患轻型减压病后(体态异常、跛行)症状仅仅持续数分钟即消除;患前庭和脊髓型减压病的豚鼠,除在3.1MPa... 对暴露在1.1、3.1MPa(相当100、300m水深)氦、氧混合气和0.9、0.7MPa压缩空气环境减压后患减压病的豚鼠、兔和狗进行连续观察,发现动物患轻型减压病后(体态异常、跛行)症状仅仅持续数分钟即消除;患前庭和脊髓型减压病的豚鼠,除在3.1MPa减压后患病动物外,多数动物出现症状10~20min后开始缓解;患前庭减压病动物的眼球震颤、听力障碍及躯体旋转等症状可在2~24h内消除:患脊髓减压病动物瘫痪的肢体可在1h~数十天内康复,个别动物留有轻度后遗症。对暴露在压缩空气环境减压后的豚鼠和兔的球结膜显微观察发现:凡出现微血管明显痉挛、通血血管数目显著减少、血流紊乱、流速减慢的动物,均有明显减压病症状。微循环功能障碍或丧失可直接影响血管内血液和气泡的循环,减压病症状可随微循环功能恢复而缓解。研究结果表明,减压病能自愈;减压导致的微循环功能障碍使相邻组织缺血是减压病的病理基础;组织缺血的程度和持续时间可使减压病自愈期有显著差异;减压病的后遗症是微循环功能障碍导致组织不可逆病理损伤的必然结果。 展开更多
