For the neutral molecules, several ne...The low-lying singlet and triplet states of HCB and HBC, and doublet states of HCB- and HBC- are examined using ab initio molecular orbital theory at the HF/TZP, FOCI/MCSCF level. For the neutral molecules, several new low-lying electroinc states are found, and the linear triplet structures are found to have the lowest energy. For the anions, the 2 ∑+ states are lower in energy than the 2Π states. For HCB, the 3Π state is 15.38kcal·mol-1 more stable than the 3∑- state, and for HBC the 3Π is 2.51kcal·mol-1 below the 3∑- state at the first order configuration interaction (FOCI) level. The barriers of the conversion of HBC(3Π) to HCB(3Π), HBC(1△(1A1)) to HCB(1A’C3) and HBC(1△(1A2)) to HCB(1A"C3) are 23.21, 12.97 and 21.09kcal·mol-1,respectively. The activation energies of the conversion of HBC-(2∑+) to HCB(2∑+) and HCB-(2Π) to HBC-(2Π) are 18.13 and 25.88kcal·mol-1, respectively. A symmetry breaking phenomenon is observed in several states. The harmonic vibrational frequencies of the neutral molecules and the anions are also reported to provide information for the possible experimental observation of these species.展开更多

Two valve-controlled PI controllers, which include a proportion...A PI control strategy based on fuzzy set-point weighting following was proposed for the active damping control of a hydraulic crane boom system (HCBS). Two valve-controlled PI controllers, which include a proportional feedforward controller based on fuzzy set-point weighting following and a limited semi-integrator(LSI), are designed respectively. LSI is used to limit output signal and to prevent wind up at the low frequency of the spectrum. By using a range camera and an electronic feedback control, the tip damping on the HCBS can be adjusted artificially. A collaborative control simulation technique of HOPSAN and MATLAB/SIMULINK is applied to the controller design. Simulation results show that the proposed PI control system has less overshoot as well as faster response. The tip damping on the HCBS during operation is improved.展开更多

To improve the understanding of HCB contamination in paddy soils, a laboratory simulative study was carried out to investigate the behavior of HCB in a paddy soil and rice plants. This study was divided into three experiments. First, an experiment aimed to examine the evaporation of HCB in paddy soil. In the second experiment, rice was planted in 10 mg/kg HCB contaminated soil and after pot culture at 3, 6, 9, and 27 weeks (at maturity), both soil and plant samplings were scheduled to be sampled. The soil samples comprised rhizosphere soil, nortrhizosphere soil, and unplanted contaminated soil, whereas plant samples included shoots, roots, and rice grains (dehusked). Lastly, in this part, HCB in xylem saps was designed to be examined. The results showed that (1) the HCB translocation from paddy soil to rice by vaporization; (2) the HCB concentration in rice grains was surprisingly high; (3) the observed HCB decrease in rice rhizosphere offers a potential means for in situ HCB degradation; (4) HCB might not be transported along transpiration in rice.展开更多

The title compound crystallizes in orthorhombic Pbca space group with α = 17.2649(5), b = 10.4680(3), c = 17.4457(7) ?, V = 3152.94(18) ?3, C12H17N6O3Zn, Mr = 358.71, Z = 8, Dc = 1.511 g/cm3, F(000) = 1480, μ = 1.579 mm-1, the final R = 0.0379 and wR = 0.0971 for 2785 observed reflections (I 〉 2σ(I)). Single-crystal X-ray structural analysis reveals that compound 1 features a 2D undulated layer with a 3-connected hcb topology.
