Design of Two-wheeled Mobile Control Robot with Holographic Projection

In this paper, we design a two-wheeled mobile robot which could be control by Android mobile phone. The way that controlling robot through Android software is easy and convenient for people to use; while the two-wheeled mobile robot owns the characteristics of adaptation and flexibility. As a platform, this robot can accomplish a series of functions by combining it with different additional modules. Therefore, this robot has significant spreading value and promising application future. As for the principle of controlling the robot: by adjusting the direction of rotation of two isolating electric motor, we can keep its balance. By changing the dip of the robot, in other words, changing the speed of rotation of electric motor, we can determine the speed of the robot. Through controlling the difference of the speed between two electric motors, we can adjust the direction of the robot. All controlling depends on the feedback provided by optical encoder, gyroscope and accelerometer. As for human-computer interaction, we accomplish human-computer communication on the basis of Bluetooth, and we design an Android software used for direct the robot. Through experiment, we confirmed that the robot can keep balance itself, and can be controlled to move in a specific direction by our Android software. In the end, through establishing small-scale holographic projection equipment on the robot, we discuss the prospect of it. 展开更多

Based on a large number of researches and engineering practices both domestic and overseas, it is shown that the building parameters to be determined during scheme phase can exert a great effect on the building energy consumption. In this paper, through a combination of the popular design method of building parameterization at present and the design goat of energy saving during the scheme phase, the author carries out researches on the design methods and toot development which are applicable to parameterization of building energy saving in this stage. In connection with the characteristics of both modeling process of parameterization and energy saving design, and by means of steady calculation as wetl as simulation, this paper establishes an simplified model to calculate the overall energy consumption of air-conditioning, heating, lighting and equipments, and ultimately gives suggestions on design of scheme for energy saving by optimization with the genetic algorithm (GA). On the basis of the model, a software platform is developed by computer language QTand openGL interface and is oriented to the design users and sets up the MMI (human-computer interaction) software interface for parameterization of building energy saving, which achieves automatic modeling of parameterization and promotes research on oractical design cases. 展开更多

The combination of virtual reality(VR)and virtual globes–VR globes–enables users to not only view virtual scenes in an immersive manner at any location on Earth but also directly interact with multi-scale spatial data using natural behaviors.It is an important direction for the future development of 3D GIS and geovisualization.However,current VR navigation are primarily based on small real spaces.For virtual globes,which are 3D multi-scale globe environment,the realization of VR navigation in the multi-scale virtual globe space within a limited real space is the first problem that needs to be addressed.A multi-scale VR navigation method that consists of two algorithms is proposed in this study.The first algorithm maps the real space to the virtual globe space and connects the VR user with the VR viewpoint.The second algorithm is an octree structure-based viewpoint correction algorithm that is proposed to correct the location of the moving VR viewpoint in real time.The proposed method is validated by experimentation.The experimental results indicate that the proposed method enables a VR user to interactively view the 3D multi-scale globe environment and lays a foundation for human–computer interaction in VR globes. 展开更多
