The chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG)model in rats was made by pouring medicine which was a kind of mixed liquor including 2% sodium salicylate and 30% alcohol down the throat for 8 wk to stimulate rat gastric mucosa, combining with irregular fasting and compulsive sporting as pathogenic factors; 3.36, 4.80, and 6.24J/cm2doses of He-Ne laser were used, respectively for three different treatment groups, once a day for 20 d. The pH value of diluted gastric acid was determined by acidimeter,the histopathological changes such as the inflammatory degrees in gastric mucosa, the morphology and structure of parietal cells were observed, and the thickness of mucosa was measured by micrometer under optical microscope.RESULTS: In model control group, the secretion of gastric acid was little, pathologic morphological changes in gastric mucosa such as thinner mucous, atrophic glands, notable inflammatory infiltration were found. After 3.36 J/cm2 dose of He-Ne laser treatment for 20 d, the secretion of gastric acid was increased (P<0.05), the thickness of gastric mucosa was significantly thicker than that in model control group (P<0.01), the gastric mucosal inflammation cells were decreased (P<0.05). Here, we explored the effects of continuous wave He-Ne laser irradiation (632 nm, 5 mW·mm-2, 2 min·d-1) on proliferating-cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) damage repair function of wheat seedlings exposed to enhanced UV-B radiation (10.08 kJ·m-2·d-1) at the early growth stages. Wheat seedlings were irradiated with enhanced UV-B, He-Ne laser treatment or a combination of the two. We explored the transcripts of PCNA in each treatment group using RT-PCR. In addition, total proteins were extracted from the 7-day-old wheat leaves, analyzed by SDS-PAGE and identified by western blot. The results showed that the transcription of PCNA was weakened following UV-B radiation compared to the control. However, when seedlings were subjected to elevated UV-B-damaging radiation followed by He-Ne laser irradiation, the expression of PCNA was signifi-cantly higher than UV-B radiation alone. These results suggest that He-Ne laser has an active role in repairing the UV-B damaging effects. In order to further investigate the function of PCNA, dynamic arrangements of PCNA in wheat root-tip cells were observed with confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM). The PCNA was marked fluorescent dimming and strength weakened in en-hanced UV-B radiation (UV-B) compared with the control group (CK) during processing. Winter wheat (Triticum aestivum), as a kind of economic crop cultured in the Northern China, is also damaged by present-day ultraviolet-B (UV-B) radiation. It was reported that He-Ne lasers could alleviate cell damage caused by UV-B radiation in plants. To get the proteomic changes of wheat alleviated by He-Ne lasers, we studied protein expression profiles of winter wheat (Jin Mai NO.79) leaves by running 2-DE (two-dimensional gel electrophoresis), which allowed the identification of some significantly different gel spots. The spots were further verified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry, in which they were confirmed to be winter wheat proteins. The results showed: 1) the proteomic changes between the ultraviolet-B radiation group and normal light group were significantly different on sixth day;2) The expression of some proteins such as catalase, DNA polymerase and reduced glutathione declines at the ultraviolet-B radiation group and increases at the UV-B + He-Ne laser group. This indicates UV-B could regulate genes encoding proteins in Winter wheat leaves and affect the growth of the Winter wheat. He-Ne lasers treatment could significantly alleviate UV-B-induced damage in wheat.展开更多

The HB was irradiated by He-Ne laser;(λ = 632 ...The aim of the present work is to investigate the effect of the He-Ne laser irradiation on the whole human blood (HB) in order to enhance the conditions of conservation. The HB was irradiated by He-Ne laser;(λ = 632 nm, continuous wave, power 30 mW, 2 mm diameter beam spot), electrical properties and complete blood count CBC were measured at three doses (0.0287, 0.0563 and 0.198 J/cm3) to the relevant best exposure dose during storage periods 9, 24, 30, 35 & 50 days. The irradiation process with the selected dose was performed by the exposure of the laser beam on the blood sample flow through narrow tube of cross section area, 0.0831 cm2. Blood dielectric parameters, (electric conductivity, dielectric constant, dielectric loss and dipole moment) and CBC, (red blood cell, white blood cell, hematocrit, hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, and mean cell or corpuscular hemoglobin in concentration) were measured. The obtained results were compared with that of the control and showed that the best irradiation exposure dose suitable for increasing the time of blood storage with minimum changes in properties is 0.198 J/cm3 and storage period of about 50 days. The present study revealed that irradiation by He-Ne laser could be considered a good means to improve the conservation conditions of human blood.展开更多
Exsolution,as an effective approach to constructing particle-decorated interfaces,is still challenging to yield interfacial films rather than isolated particles.Inspired by in vivo near-infrared laser photothermal the...Exsolution,as an effective approach to constructing particle-decorated interfaces,is still challenging to yield interfacial films rather than isolated particles.Inspired by in vivo near-infrared laser photothermal therapy,using 3 mol%Y_(2)O_(3)stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals(3Y-TZP)as host oxide matrix and iron-oxide(Fe3O4/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/α-Fe_(2)O_(3))materials as photothermal modulator and exsolution resource,femtosecond laser ultrafast exsolution approach is presented enabling to conquer this challenge.The key is to trigger photothermal annealing behavior via femtosecond laser ablation to initialize phase transition from monoclinic zirconia(m-ZrO_(2))to tetragonal zirconia(t-ZrO_(2))and induce t-ZrO_(2)columnar crystal growth.Fe-ions rapidly segregate along grain boundaries and diffuse towards the outmost surface,and become‘frozen’,highlighting the potential to use photothermal materials and ultrafast heating/quenching behaviors of femtosecond laser ablation for interfacial exsolution.Triggering interfacial iron-oxide coloring exsolution is composition and concentration dependent.Photothermal materials themselves and corresponding photothermal transition capacity play a crucial role,initializing at 2 wt%,3 wt%,and 5 wt%for Fe3O4/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/α-Fe_(2)O_(3)doped 3Y-TZP samples.Due to different photothermal effects,exsolution states of ablated 5 wt%Fe_(3)O_(4)/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/α-Fe_(2)O_(3)-doped 3Y-TZP samples are totally different,with whole coverage,exhaustion(ablated away)and partial exsolution(rich in the grain boundaries in subsurface),respectively.Femtosecond laser ultrafast photothermal exsolution is uniquely featured by up to now the deepest microscale(10μm from 5 wt%-Fe_(3)O_(4)-3Y-TZP sample)Fe-elemental deficient layer for exsolution and the whole coverage of exsolved materials rather than the formation of isolated exsolved particles by other methods.It is believed that this novel exsolution method may pave a good way to modulate interfacial properties for extensive applications in the fields of biology,optics/photonics,energy,catalysis,environment,etc.展开更多

Using methylene blue (MB)-triethanolamine (TEOA) as the photosensitive system, the photopolymerization followed a nonsteady-state kinetic scheme in the initial period of polymerization (the monomer conversion C%<2%) and then followed a steady-state kinetic scheme (5% >C%>2%). Accirding to the steady-state hypothesis, the mechanism of photopolymerization was proposed. As to the laser with two longitudinal modes, the variation amplitude is commonly less than 500 kHz, proven by experiments and theories. This study reveals an anomalous variation of the beat frequency when a piece of element is put into the cavity and is aligned with the laser axis. Consequently the variation amplitude couM reach 22 MHz, several dozen times larger than that without the intra-cavity element. This cannot be explained only by laser mode pulling and pushing effects. Some influencing factors are investigated experimentally, including the tilted angle of the element and the distance between its surface and cavity mirror. The qualitative analysis is discussed, which agrees with the experimental results.展开更多

Pre-sowing laser irradiation treatment ...The paper presents a study on the effects of low intensity laser irradiation on morphological changes in plants sprouted from maize hybrid seeds (two hybrids) and wheat seeds. Pre-sowing laser irradiation treatment on the seeds was done, intervals from 10 s to 15 min (approximately), by using a diode laser output power of 12 mW at 904 nm wavelength or with He-Ne laser with output power of 50 mW and 632.8 nm wavelength. Before irradiation seeds were divided into groups (wet and dry, and then in subgroups-irradiated or control groups). We used maize hybrids, Amilacea and Identata and wheat (Triticum aestivum). The reflection coefficient in visible range was done for maize varieties. Obtained data show the influence of laser beam to better plant growth. Better results are obtained for dry seed irradiation than for wet. In order to investigate the effect of laser beam and in general to clarify a lot of unsolved photo processes related to bioorganisms at macroscopic and microscopic levels, some optical constants of selected plant families were researched. At the same time, the influence of laser beams of common wavelengths to the selected plants was monitored. Morphological processes of plants (seeds and leaves) irradiated under different conditions and plant growing dynamics were contemplated. The definite correlation analyses of obtained results were made, clearly speaking about the influence of small-dose radiation to characteristics (quantitative and other genetic, bio-stimulating effects) of future plant growth.展开更多

To investigate the histological change and the expressions of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in atrophic gastric mucosa in rats so as to appraise the effect of these regulato...To investigate the histological change and the expressions of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in atrophic gastric mucosa in rats so as to appraise the effect of these regulators on the formation of atrophic gastritis, to study the expressions of EGF and EGFR in rats with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) after the irradiation of He-Ne laser, and to investigate the relations of He-Ne laser and precancerous lesion or apoptosis. The rats were divided into normal group, model group and laser group. The models of CAG rats were established with enema which was the mixed liquor consisted of sodium salicylate and alcohol, combined with irregular fasting and compulsive sporting as pathogenic factors. He-Ne laser(3.36 J/cm2 ) was used to irradiate CAG rats, once a day for 7 min, 20 days as a course of treatment; the expressions of EGF and EGFR were detected with immunohistochemical method. During the process of antral atrophy, the expressions of EGF and EGFR increased, they were higher in model group than those in normal group (P<0.05). After the irradiation of He-Ne laser, the expressions of EGF and EGFR were obviously lower than those in model group (P<0.05). We draw the conclusion as follows: gastric mucosa of model rat is in a hyper-proliferation status, with high protein expressions of apoptosis suppressor EGF and EGFR. CAG has some correlation with the imbalance between cell proliferation and apoptosis. He-Ne laser (3.36 J/cm2 ) can reduce the expressions of EGF and EGFR, which is an effective physiostimulator to stimulate the gastric mucosa of rat. The appropriate secretions of EGF and EGFR are propitious to the repair and regeneration for the gastric mucosa tissues, thus preventing CAG to canceration.展开更多

文摘Exsolution,as an effective approach to constructing particle-decorated interfaces,is still challenging to yield interfacial films rather than isolated particles.Inspired by in vivo near-infrared laser photothermal therapy,using 3 mol%Y_(2)O_(3)stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals(3Y-TZP)as host oxide matrix and iron-oxide(Fe3O4/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/α-Fe_(2)O_(3))materials as photothermal modulator and exsolution resource,femtosecond laser ultrafast exsolution approach is presented enabling to conquer this challenge.The key is to trigger photothermal annealing behavior via femtosecond laser ablation to initialize phase transition from monoclinic zirconia(m-ZrO_(2))to tetragonal zirconia(t-ZrO_(2))and induce t-ZrO_(2)columnar crystal growth.Fe-ions rapidly segregate along grain boundaries and diffuse towards the outmost surface,and become‘frozen’,highlighting the potential to use photothermal materials and ultrafast heating/quenching behaviors of femtosecond laser ablation for interfacial exsolution.Triggering interfacial iron-oxide coloring exsolution is composition and concentration dependent.Photothermal materials themselves and corresponding photothermal transition capacity play a crucial role,initializing at 2 wt%,3 wt%,and 5 wt%for Fe3O4/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/α-Fe_(2)O_(3)doped 3Y-TZP samples.Due to different photothermal effects,exsolution states of ablated 5 wt%Fe_(3)O_(4)/γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/α-Fe_(2)O_(3)-doped 3Y-TZP samples are totally different,with whole coverage,exhaustion(ablated away)and partial exsolution(rich in the grain boundaries in subsurface),respectively.Femtosecond laser ultrafast photothermal exsolution is uniquely featured by up to now the deepest microscale(10μm from 5 wt%-Fe_(3)O_(4)-3Y-TZP sample)Fe-elemental deficient layer for exsolution and the whole coverage of exsolved materials rather than the formation of isolated exsolved particles by other methods.It is believed that this novel exsolution method may pave a good way to modulate interfacial properties for extensive applications in the fields of biology,optics/photonics,energy,catalysis,environment,etc.

文摘Toluidine blue(TB) is a good sensitizer for the polymerization of acrylnmide(AM) induced by He-Ne laser. With TB as a sensitizer and various alcoholamine as donors, the photoredox of TB and the polymerization kinetics of AM induced by He-Ne laser were investigated. It was found that either for the photoredox of TB or for the polymerization of AM, the activity of alcoholamine increases in the order of EOA<DEOA <TEOA in TB-alcoholamine sensitized system. The overall apparent kinetic equations of AM polymerization at 30℃ have been determined. In addition, the molecular weights under various conditions was measured.
文摘The kinetics of the photopolymerization of sensitized acrylamide (AM) system induced by He-Ne laser has been investigated. Using methylene blue (MB)-triethanolamine (TEOA) as the photosensitive system, the photopolymerization followed a nonsteady-state kinetic scheme in the initial period of polymerization (the monomer conversion C%<2%) and then followed a steady-state kinetic scheme (5% >C%>2%). Accirding to the steady-state hypothesis, the mechanism of photopolymerization was proposed. The deduced kinetic equation of the photopolymerization of AM is in good coincidence with the experimental results.

文摘The beat frequency in a dual frequency He-Ne laser varies while the resonant cavity length is tuned. As to the laser with two longitudinal modes, the variation amplitude is commonly less than 500 kHz, proven by experiments and theories. This study reveals an anomalous variation of the beat frequency when a piece of element is put into the cavity and is aligned with the laser axis. Consequently the variation amplitude couM reach 22 MHz, several dozen times larger than that without the intra-cavity element. This cannot be explained only by laser mode pulling and pushing effects. Some influencing factors are investigated experimentally, including the tilted angle of the element and the distance between its surface and cavity mirror. The qualitative analysis is discussed, which agrees with the experimental results.
文摘The paper presents a study on the effects of low intensity laser irradiation on morphological changes in plants sprouted from maize hybrid seeds (two hybrids) and wheat seeds. Pre-sowing laser irradiation treatment on the seeds was done, intervals from 10 s to 15 min (approximately), by using a diode laser output power of 12 mW at 904 nm wavelength or with He-Ne laser with output power of 50 mW and 632.8 nm wavelength. Before irradiation seeds were divided into groups (wet and dry, and then in subgroups-irradiated or control groups). We used maize hybrids, Amilacea and Identata and wheat (Triticum aestivum). The reflection coefficient in visible range was done for maize varieties. Obtained data show the influence of laser beam to better plant growth. Better results are obtained for dry seed irradiation than for wet. In order to investigate the effect of laser beam and in general to clarify a lot of unsolved photo processes related to bioorganisms at macroscopic and microscopic levels, some optical constants of selected plant families were researched. At the same time, the influence of laser beams of common wavelengths to the selected plants was monitored. Morphological processes of plants (seeds and leaves) irradiated under different conditions and plant growing dynamics were contemplated. The definite correlation analyses of obtained results were made, clearly speaking about the influence of small-dose radiation to characteristics (quantitative and other genetic, bio-stimulating effects) of future plant growth.

Group 2: very good—30%, good—50% and moderate—20%. </span><b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Conclusion:</span></b> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">The combination of He-Ne laser with topical clindamycin shows more rapid clinical improvement compared to topical clindamycin alone in the treatment of mild and moderate AV.</span>
文摘To investigate the histological change and the expressions of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in atrophic gastric mucosa in rats so as to appraise the effect of these regulators on the formation of atrophic gastritis, to study the expressions of EGF and EGFR in rats with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) after the irradiation of He-Ne laser, and to investigate the relations of He-Ne laser and precancerous lesion or apoptosis. The rats were divided into normal group, model group and laser group. The models of CAG rats were established with enema which was the mixed liquor consisted of sodium salicylate and alcohol, combined with irregular fasting and compulsive sporting as pathogenic factors. He-Ne laser(3.36 J/cm2 ) was used to irradiate CAG rats, once a day for 7 min, 20 days as a course of treatment; the expressions of EGF and EGFR were detected with immunohistochemical method. During the process of antral atrophy, the expressions of EGF and EGFR increased, they were higher in model group than those in normal group (P<0.05). After the irradiation of He-Ne laser, the expressions of EGF and EGFR were obviously lower than those in model group (P<0.05). We draw the conclusion as follows: gastric mucosa of model rat is in a hyper-proliferation status, with high protein expressions of apoptosis suppressor EGF and EGFR. CAG has some correlation with the imbalance between cell proliferation and apoptosis. He-Ne laser (3.36 J/cm2 ) can reduce the expressions of EGF and EGFR, which is an effective physiostimulator to stimulate the gastric mucosa of rat. The appropriate secretions of EGF and EGFR are propitious to the repair and regeneration for the gastric mucosa tissues, thus preventing CAG to canceration.
