These catatysts were characterized by IR spectra and XPS methods. The XPS investigation indicated that the-electron transfer from Fe atom in Fe2O3 to Pd, enhanced the hy-drogenation activity of the catalysts,and Bi2O3 drew electrons from Pd, leading to the lowering of the hydrogenation rate. When Pd/Bi atom ratio = 1, the hydrogenation was inhibited entirely. The IR spectra of resin 1)3520 showed no significant changes when Pd and the metallic oxides were supported on the polymer particles. That indicates that there are no obvious inter-actions between Pd (or metallic oxides) and supporter. Finally , a possible hydrogenation mechanism ,was also supposed.展开更多

PCT plateaus are ...The PCT degradation behaviours of LaNi 5, LaNi 4.7 Al 0.3 and MINi 4.5 Al 0.5 alloys were investigated by measuring the difference between pure hydrogen and hydrogen containing CO. PCT plateaus are inclined after poisoning of all these alloys. LaNi 5 has no plateau. The plateaus of LaNi 4.7 Al 0.3 and MINi 4.5 Al 0.5 alloys are both lifted and inclined, the width of PCT cuve are shorter, and the absorbed hydrogen content is reduced drastically after poisoning. The resistance of alumiium substituted alloys to CO is therefore improved.展开更多
