Hierarchical pattern recognition of landform elements considering scale adaptation

Landform elements with varying morphologies and spatial arrangements are recognized as feature indicator of landform classification and play a critical role in geomorphological studies.Differential geometry method has been extensively applied in prior landform element research,while its efficacy in differentiating similar morphological characteristics remains inadequate to date.To reduce reliance on geomorphometric variables and increase awareness of landform patterns,geomorphons method was generated in previous study corresponding to specific landform reclassification map based on lookup table.Besides,to address the problem of feature similarity,hierarchical classification was proposed and effectively utilized for terrain recognition through the analytical strategy of fuzzy gradient features.Thus,combining the advantages of these two aspects,a hierarchical framework was proposed in this study for landform element pattern recognition considering the morphology and hierarchy factors.First,the local triplet patterns derived from geomorphons were enhanced by setting the flatness threshold,and subsequently adopted for the primary landform element recognition.Then,as geomorphic units with the same morphology possess different spatial analytical scales,the unidentified landform elements under the principle of scale adaptation were determined by calculating the spatial correlation and entropy information.To ensure the effectiveness of this proposed method,the sampling points were randomly selected from NASADEM data and then validated against a real 3D terrain model.Quantitative results of landform element pattern recognition demonstrate that our approach can reach above 77%average accuracy.Additionally,it delineates local details more effectively than geomorphons in visual assessment,resulting in a 7%accuracy improvement in overall scale.

Capacity Building Needs for Manual and Computer Assisted Teaching of Pattern Drafting for Entrepreneurship in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria

This study investigated the capacity building needs for manual and computer assisted teaching of pattern drafting for entrepreneurship in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.The study was conducted and guided by two research questions and two hypotheses.This study adopted an ex-post facto research design.The population for the study consisted of 131 Home Economics lecturers from the Universities,Polytechnic,and Colleges of Education in South East Nigeria.The entire population was studied because of its manageable size,hence there was no sampling.The results of this study showed that the Home Economics lecturers are competent in drafting patterns using manual method.Technical skills required for lecturers of Home Economics to advance from manual to computer-assisted teaching of pattern drafting were identified.They include ability to grade patterns,ability to use software packages,and ability to discuss procedures of pattern drafting among others.Based on the findings,it was recommended among others that computer assisted teaching of pattern drafting should be incorporated and applied by Home Economics lecturers to ensure that students acquire technical skills that will enable them to enter into entrepreneurship.

Oral Report in RICH English Teaching Pattern

RICH teaching pattern is directed by humanistic thought with main goals to develop comprehensive qualities of students,to improve English applying abilities of students and cultivate teaching qualities of students.Firstly,a brief review is presented about RICH teaching pattern including its background,connotation and gained achievements.Next,as for the important step in RICH teaching pattern-oral report,this paper analyzes its necessity and function in English class and introduces its types and application in the class.In sum,oral report reflects student-centered thought of RICH teaching pattern and is a new method to improve college English teaching efficiency.

The Importance of Thought Patterns in English Teaching

In English teaching,during the communication,students arrange languages to express their ides according to their own thought patterns and they could understand other people's language simultaneously to form a kind of thought pattern similar to other people's thought patterns. This paper compares English thought pattern with Chinese thought pattern,and provides some suggestion for English teaching of syntax and translation.

Prescribing patterns of antibiotics at two teaching hospitals in Sanandaj

We report here the results of a prospective analysis of the pattern of antibiotics use over a one month period(May 2009)at two teaching hospitals in Sanandaj,western part of Iran.Data on antibiotic usage were obtained from the pharmacy services.Data was coded,computed and analyzed using SPSS version 11.5.A total of 1336 and 556 patients from Beasat and Tohid hospital respectively received antibiotic.Male patients represented 758(41.5 %)and females 1080(58.5 %)of the total number of patients evaluated by physicians at the two hospitals during the one month period.Usage of antibiotics varied from hospital to hospital;Beasat hospital had the highest usage.The ward-wise distribution of antibiotic use showed that the prevalence of prescribing was highest in the post partum ward(66.58%).Similarly,among Tohid hospital wards,men surgical ward and women surgical ward prescribed antibiotics significantly more than all other wards.The route of administration of antibiotics was parentrally for 85.5% and 88.2% at Beasat anf Tohid hospitals respectively.The distribution of use of individual antibiotics showed that cepfzoline was the most frequently prescribed antibiotics used at both the hospitals.Delivery(childbirth)and pneumonia were the most frequent diagnosed pattern for which an antibiotic was prescribed at Beasat and Tohid hospital respectively.In conclusion our study suggests that there is considerable scope for improving prescribing pattern among the practitioners and minimizing the use of antibiotics.The improvement would be facilitated by providing feedback,prescriber education and hospital formulary.

Exploration on 5E Teaching Principle-based Education for the Object-oriented Software Construction Course

Most current object-oriented programming courses offered by domestic colleges and universities generally focus on the object-oriented programming language itself,i.e.,the programming grammar of the language,but ignore the design pattern.However,design patterns are essential to software engineering because they can solve common problems in software design and improve code reuse,readability,extensibility,and reliability.Our Object-oriented Software Construction Course is creative since it aims at cultivating students’object-oriented thinking as well as basic abilities required to construct high-quality,object-oriented software.Specifically,we exploit the 5E teaching principle during the education of this course,and present the whole pipeline in the paper.We also provide one case of the factory pattern to further demonstrate the implementation of the 5E teaching principle in the course.The effect of the 5E teaching principle has also been demonstrated.

分层递进式教学在国家卒中血管超声示范中心培训中的应用

目的探索分层递进式教学模式在血管超声专业对进修医师的培训效果。方法纳入2021年1月—2023年3月于首都医科大学宣武医院血管超声科进修的医师124人,根据入科时医师对血管超声和TCD技术的掌握水平进行分层,分为单技术组和颈-脑一体化技术组,采用分层递进式教学模式培训满6个月后,进行理论及实践考核。结果单技术组及颈-脑一体化技术组在入科时理论考核成绩和上机操作考核成绩差异无统计学意义。通过分层递进式教学培训后,单技术组的理论考核成绩[(83.8±6.9)分vs.(65.2±9.6)分,P<0.001]和上机操作考核成绩[(93.2±4.5)分vs.(91.4±4.3)分,P<0.001]均有提高。颈-脑一体化技术组理论考核成绩提高[(86.9±7.7)分vs.(67.7±6.4)分,P<0.001]。结论分层递进式教学模式在血管超声专业对进修医师具有较好的教学效果和较高的教学满意度。

从句式视角谈汉语书面语教学

文章首先就语体而言对“汉语书面语”作了扼要说明:其次从三方面阐述了观点:一是对汉语句式作了分类说明,并指出汉语书面语教学主要需关注和抓好两类句式的教学:一类是口语和书面语通用句式,另一类是书面语句式中的“正式语体”句式;二是以实例说明从“句式”视角开展汉语书面语教学所需研究的种种问题;三是如何从句式视角进行汉语书面语教学,提出两点具体建议。

分层次教学培训对护士医院感染防控知识掌握水平及管理质量的影响

目的探讨和分析分层次教学培训对护士医院感染防控知识掌握水平及管理质量的影响和改善效果。方法选择安徽医科大学第二附属医院402名护士作为研究对象,于2023年3月1日—7月31日开展分层次教学培训,采用回顾性分析,对是否担任过医院感染管控护士的护士知识掌握程度、培训前后护士医院感染防控知识掌握水平和医院感染管理质量进行比较与分析。结果担任过医院感染管控护士的护士医院感染防控知识掌握评分高于未担任过的护士,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。培训后,护士在医院感染管理规范、诊疗器械处理程序、医院感染概念、空气消毒方面的知识掌握评分高于培训前,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);护士在操作技能、应急能力、理论知识以及消毒管理方面的医院感染管理质量评分高于培训前,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论分层次教学培训的实施,显著提升了护士的医院感染防控知识掌握水平,同时也改善了医院感染管理质量。

以学生为中心的食品酶学课程多维教学模式探析

以学生为中心的教学方式是引导学生全面发展、培养顺应时代需求的新工科人才的重要教学改革方向。该文针对食品酶学课程传统教学中存在的问题与教学要求,从知识构筑维度、课堂教学维度、课后提升维度和创新突破维度进行教学模式的探索与应用,实现对学生基础理论知识与创新实践能力的引导与培养,从课程教学方面为培养食品领域新工科人才提供助力。

分层次分阶段带教法在胸外科临床护理教学中的应用研究

目的探究以老年肺癌患者护理疾病知识为考核目标的分层次分阶段带教法在胸外科临床护理教学中的应用效果。方法选取2021年7月—2022年6月在吉林大学第一医院胸外科实习的应届护理专业学生90例为研究对象,通过随机数字表法将其分为试验组45例和对照组45例。试验组采用分层次分阶段带教法,对照组采用传统教学法。两组学生经过4周带教后,通过老年肺癌患者护理相关理论知识、操作技能考试和实习满意度问卷调查以及护理临床决策能力评价比较两组实习学生的教学效果。结果试验组老年肺癌患者护理相关理论考试成绩和操作技能考试成绩均高于对照组(P<0.05);试验组实习满意度高于对照组(P<0.05);两组学生护理临床决策能力评价比较,试验组本科学生在发现问题能力、确定目标能力、决断方案能力、总分评价均优于对照组本科学生(P<0.05);两组专科学生护理临床决策能力评价比较,5个维度差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论在胸外科临床护理教学中,以老年肺癌患者护理相关理论知识和操作技能为考核目标应用分层次分阶段带教法,提高了学生的理论知识水平、实践操作技能和临床护理决策能力,使学生对临床护理教学满意。此教学方法值得在胸外科临床护理教学中推广应用。

新工科背景下Python程序设计课程教学模式设计与实践
