With the vigorous development of higher vocational education,public elective courses,as one of the core components of the higher vocational curriculum system,occupy a pivotal position.Based on the perspective of academic affairs management and taking Guangdong C Vocational College as an example,this paper meticulously analyzes the operational problems in the declaration,setting,teaching,and management of public elective courses through questionnaire surveys and other methods.It also puts forward a series of targeted solutions,with a view to continuously improving the teaching quality and management level of public elective courses.

The Dilemma and Innovative Countermeasure of Student Archives Management in Higher Vocational Colleges

Student archives in higher vocational colleges are the true records of students' learning and living conditions during their schooling,and are an important part of personnel archives in Higher Vocational colleges. Faced with the fierce competition in the socialenvironment, how can the management of students' archives in Higher Vocational Colleges adapt to the development of society is aproblem in Higher Vocational colleges. Therefore, the author conducts research and analysis on the predicament and innovativecountermeasures of student file management in higher vocational colleges. The results show that the student's archives level can beimproved by improving the archives awareness of the whole society, enriching the archives content, building the student filemanagement platform and developing the archives information resources, and better serving the graduates' employment work.

MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT OF PART-TIME ENGLISH TEACHERS AT HIGHER VOCATIONAL COLLEGES

There is an ever growing number of part-time teachers in higher vocational education due to the expansion of recruitment of students, especially English teachers. This is raising concerns about how they are managed, and supported in their teaching role. In this article, the significance of employing part-time English teachers is discussed.The main findings of a study of good practice in the management and support of part-time English teachers in Guangdong higher vocational education are summarized. Three areas of support are analyzed: college policies and practices; systems for monitoring and evaluation; and formal and informal support measures in departments. The key processes and the problematic issues in each of these three areas are discussed and suggestions are made about the way forward.

Strategies on Curriculum Reform of Hotel Management by Integrating Theory and Practice into Teaching

Integrating theory and practice into teaching is an advanced pedagogy, particularly suitable for the cultivation of applied talents in higher vocational colleges. In this paper, the author first discusses the connotation of the teaching method as integration of theory and practice and illustrates the background and significance of employing this teaching method in the curriculum reform of hotel management in higher vocational colleges. 产教融合视阈下高职院校高水平专业群治理的逻辑框架必须遵循产业发展需求的逻辑、知识关联的逻辑和组织治理的逻辑。以56份“双高计划”学校中期绩效自评报告为研究对象,运用NVIVO12.0软件对专业群治理逻辑归纳而建构的要素指标进行数据挖掘和分析,结果表明专业群产教融合形态由“单一虚体”向“多元实体”蜕变有待突破,专业间知识关联由“弱关联”向“强关联”演变有待强化,组织管理形态由“科层治理”向“多元治理”转变有待革新。产教融合视域下高职院校高水平专业群治理应坚持“以产定群”,搭建区域产业集群与专业知识关联耦合的专业群;坚持“以群治院”,打造治理结构与治理效能相匹配的组织体系;坚持多元共治,搭建产教协同与利益共享的实体育人平台。
