Results: Incidence rates of the lack of BE, AIA and CTAin 92 cases were 60. 87%, 57. 61 % and 72.83% respectively. The lower levels of BE,AIA and CTA were elevated significantly (P< 0. 05 ~0. 01 ), and the serial levels β- hCG, P and E2 were markedly increasing (P< 0. 01 ) in all successful pregnant patients. The rate of the successful pregnancy of 92 cases was 89. 13 % (to TA 91. 67%, to RSA 88.24 % respectively). Conclusions: It suggeststhat the lack of blocking antibody (BA) andendocrine hormone deficiency may result inspontaneous abortion during early pregnancy. The therapeutic mechanism of those herbs intreating spontaneous abortion was associatedwith the growing levels of BA and hormone byregulating the maternal-fetal immunity and endocrine.展开更多

Despite its widespread use in clinical settings, a major challenge in TCM is to study it scientifically. This difficulty arises from the fact that TCM views human body as a complex dynamical system, and focuses on the balance of the human body, both internally and with its external environment. As a result, conventional tools that are based on reductionist approach arc not adequate. Methods that can quantify the dynamics of complex integrative systems may bring new insights and utilities about the clinical practice and evaluation of efficacy of TCM. The dynamical complexity theory recently proposed and its computational algorithm, Multiscale Entropy (MSE) analysis, are consistent with TCM concepts. This new system level analysis has been successfully applied to many health and disease related topics in medicine. We believe that there could be many promising applications of this dynamical complexity concept in TCM. In this article, we propose some promising applications and research areas that TCM practitioners and researchers can pursue.展开更多

文摘Objective:To observe the effects of Ginger moxibustion combined with iontophoresis with traditional Chinese medicine on the improvement of symptoms, serum platelet activating factor (PAF) level and uterine artery pulsation index in patients with primary dysmenorrhea. Methods 114 patients with primary dysmenorrhea who were treated in our hospital from August 2017 to February 2019 were divided into two groups according to the different treatment schemes. 57 patients in the control group were treated with ibuprofen capsules, and 57 patients in the study group were treated with Ginger moxibustion combined with iontophoresis with traditional Chinese medicine. After three menstrual cycles of treatment, the curative effect was evaluated and the improvement of symptoms was counted. PAF, PAF-AH and platelet adhesion rate were compared, uterine artery hemodynamics was measured, and levels of serum hs-CRP and IL-6 were measured. Results The overall response rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the scores of different symptoms in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), and the scores of different symptoms in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, PAF and platelet adhesion rate in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), PAF-AH was significantly higher than that before treatment (P < 0.05), and PAF and platelet adhesion rate in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05), PAF-AH was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the pulsation index, resistance index and peak systolic-diastolic ratio in the study group were significantly lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), and the pulsation index, resistance index and peak systolic-diastolic ratio in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum hs-CRP and IL-6 in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), and the levels of serum hs-CRP and IL-6 in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusions Ginger moxibustion combined with iontophoresis with traditional Chinese medicine is helpful to improve the overall response rate of primary dysmenorrhea treatment, reduce the score levels of different symptoms, rationally improve PAF, PAF-AH, platelet adhesion rate, and the pulse index, resistance index, peak systolic-diastolic ratio are decreased significantly, and serum hs-CRP and IL-6 levels tend to be normal.
文摘Objective: To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on abnormalmaternal-fetal immune and endocrine in 24cases of threatened abortion (TA) and 68 cases of recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA).Methods: The levels of blocking effect (BE),antiidiotype antibody (AIA), cytotoxin antibody (CTA), β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG), progesterone (P), estradiol (E2)were measured in all 92 patients. The therapeutic mechanism of those herbs intreating spontaneous abortion was associatedwith the growing levels of BA and hormone byregulating the maternal-fetal immunity and endocrine.
文摘Objective:To explore the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion with acupoints on the treatment of chronic gastritis with sleep disorders. Methods:Sixty patients with chronic gastritis and sleep disorders in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were selected and recruited. These patients were divided into two groups, namely the control group and experimental group by using random number table method. Each group consisted of 30 cases. The control group was treated with conventional drugs, whereas the observation group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion with acupoints on top of the treatment prescribed for the patients in control group. The TCM syndrome score, gastrin level, and sleep quality level were compared between the two groups. Results:After four weeks of treatment, the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom score, gastrin level, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture and moxibustion with acupoints can improve TCM symptom scores, reduce gastrin levels, and improve sleep quality in patients with chronic gastritis and sleep disorders.

文摘Objective To investigate and analyze the residents’cognition and use of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and put forward corresponding countermeasures for its existing problems. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the cognition and trust of TCM from 380 residents in Liaoning Province. Then, the differences of residents’way of purchasing TCM and gaining the knowledge of TCM.Finally,Polygonum multiflorum was taken as an example to analyze the problems in residents’cognition and use of Chinese medicinal materials,Chinese traditional decoction pieces, and Chinese patent medicine. Results and Conclusion A total of 402 questionnaires were collected, and 380 were valid. The effective rate was 94.53%.Residents’understanding of the top three TCM processing techniques were simmering(58.95%),baking(56.84%),and parching(45.00%).The top three best-known TCM for them were chrysanthemum(72.63%),tangerine peel(63.16%),and hawthorn(62.11%).The main factors influencing residents’willingness to purchase TCM were doctors’advice(52.63%),and experts or experienced people’s suggestion(54.21%).The top three ways of residents’gaining TCM knowledge were:TCM knowledge lecture(64.21%),health care knowledge(55.79%),and personal experience of Chinese medicine such as acupuncture and cupping(54.21%).However,due to the lack of professional knowledge of TCM,insufficient supervision and inconsistent standards, residents frequently took TCM by mistake.Residents have a high recognition of TCM,so its future development is optimistic. However, some residents’insufficient knowledge of TCM often leads to the misapplication of the medicine. Therefore,to improve residents’cognition of TCM,it is not only to actively publicize the professional knowledge of TCM,but also to improve the professional skills of practitioners, and the supervision standards and intensity of TCM market,so as to make residents feel at ease to buy safe and high-quality TCM products.
文摘Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been gradually accepted by the world. In this article, we propose some promising applications and research areas that TCM practitioners and researchers can pursue.

文摘Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),an ancient system of alternative medicine, played an active role in the prevention and control of COVID-19 in China. It improved the clinical symptoms of patients, reduced the mortality rate, improved the recovery rate, and effectively relieved the operating pressure on the national medical system during critical conditions. In light of the current global pandemic,TCM-related measures might open up a new channel in the control of COVID-19 in other countries and regions. Here,we summarize the TCM-related measures that were widely used in China, including TCM guidelines, the Wuchang pattern, mobile cabin hospitals, integrated treatment of TCM and modern medicine for critical patients, and non-medicine therapy for convalescent patients, and describe how TCM effectively treated patients afflicted with the COVID-19.Effective TCM therapies could, therefore,be recommended and practiced based on the existing medical evidence from increased scientific studies.
