Plantsare ligh red, 0. 9 - 2 cm high. Margin of branches gives rise to uniseriate hair-like rhizoids, formed out-ward from the fusion of the second-and third-order cells. Blades are single layered (except the midrib)and unconicated. Tetrasporangial sori are formed on the middie part of blades.
