Traditionally,language is considered to be a grammar vocabulary dichotomy system,and grammar and vocabulary seem to be independent of each other.This deep-rooted notion is particularly prevalent in Chinese English teaching and learning.Michael Lewis,the author of the Lexical Approach challenged the standard view of dividing language teaching into grammar and vocabulary.He believes that language is grammaticalised lexis,not lexicalized grammar,and lexis is the core of language learning while grammar is subordinate to it.This paper intends to explore its theoretical foundations and emphasize the great significance of the Lexical Approach to college English teaching in China. 展开更多

Some researchers call them "lexical phrases" (Nattinger and DeCarrico,1992) or "lexical chunks" (Lewis, 1993); others use the term "multi-word chunks" or just "chunks"of language. Whatever the terms are, they are characteristic of language use and language acquisition and present advantages for language teaching and learning. The lexical approach to English teaching has received interest in recent years as an alternative to grammar-based approaches. Hence, various modes of word memorizing methods are collected and a brief classification and remark are available. By an overall analysis of those methods, a new approach compromised by different kinds of methods turns out. Content-based language teaching(CBLT)has come to be known as an effective and motivating way to develop higher levels of communicative ability than more traditional grammar-based approaches.Whereas traditional methods isolate the target language from any substantive content except for the mechanical workings of the language itself,CBLT enriches classroom discourse in a way that provides both a cognitive basis for language learning and a motivational basis for purposeful communication.CBLT,how ever,does not preclude language instruction but instead promotes its integration through a counterbalanced approach that entails a dynamic interplay betw een language and content.Drawing on classroom-based research,this paper illustrates the feasibility and effectiveness of a counterbalanced approach to CBLT whose flexibility has the potential to accommodate a range of instructional settings. 展开更多

目的探讨产出导向法(production-oriented approach,POA)在医学遗传学课程教学中的应用效果。方法选取杭州医学院2020级和2021级四年制卫生检验与检疫专业93名学生为研究对象。采用试验对照研究方法,将2021级48名学生设为试验组,采用PO... 目的探讨产出导向法(production-oriented approach,POA)在医学遗传学课程教学中的应用效果。方法选取杭州医学院2020级和2021级四年制卫生检验与检疫专业93名学生为研究对象。采用试验对照研究方法,将2021级48名学生设为试验组,采用POA教学方法;将2020级45名学生设为对照组,采用传统教学方法。两组学生教学均为32学时。教学结束后,比较两组学生的平时成绩、实验成绩、期末考试成绩和总成绩;同时,对两组学生进行问卷调查,了解两组学生对各自教学方法应用效果的评价。结果试验组学生平时成绩、实验成绩、期末成绩和总成绩均高于对照组学生,其差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。调查结果表明,试验组学生在“课前学习资源丰富”“学习目标清晰明确”“课堂教学生动有趣,知识点易于理解”“教学内容不限于课本,注重知识点迁移”“积极参与课堂互动,气氛活跃”“增强自主学习的兴趣”“加深对课程内容的理解与认识”“提高文献检索与阅读能力”“提高碎片时间学习能力”等方面的评价均优于对照组学生,其差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论将POA教学方法应用于医学遗传学课程教学中,可以显著提高学生的综合成绩和教学效果满意度,值得推广应用。 展开更多

为了了解领会教学法在小篮球俱乐部教学中的效果,该文采用文献资料法、实验法和数理统计法等方法,选取30名实验对象,并将其随机分为实验组、对照组,实验组采用领会教学法,对照组采用传统教学法,实验周期为12周,分别观察实验前后身体素... 为了了解领会教学法在小篮球俱乐部教学中的效果,该文采用文献资料法、实验法和数理统计法等方法,选取30名实验对象,并将其随机分为实验组、对照组,实验组采用领会教学法,对照组采用传统教学法,实验周期为12周,分别观察实验前后身体素质、基本运动技能、篮球技术指标的变化,并通过SPSS25.0软件进行统计学处理。结果表明:实验后实验组学生身体素质指标、基本运动技能指标、篮球技术指标均明显优于实验前和对照组(P<0.01),具有非常显著性差异。结论:领会教学法能显著提高小篮球俱乐部学员的下肢肌肉爆发力、耐力及腰腹核心肌肉力量,全面提高侧滑、跳、投、抓、踢等基本运动能力,以及三步上篮、定点投篮、运球绕杆等篮球技术,效果优于普通教学法,是适合在小篮球俱乐部教学中推广普及的一种教学方法。 展开更多

STEAM教学的有效性问题,是决定STEAM教育能否长远发展与深入应用的根本性问题。STEAM教学本身所具有的诸多不同于传统课堂教学的本质特征,决定了教师不能完全照搬传统课堂教学情境下有效教学的标准,来评价STEAM教学的有效性。美国STEAM教师在实施STEAM教学中的具体举措与经验,为探讨STEAM有效教学的设计与实施提供了新视角。STEAM有效教学体现出五个关键特征:一是以真实问题的解决为重要导向;二是以得当的学科整合为基本依托;三是以必需技能的培养为实践重点;四是以艺术的深度融合为发展趋势;五是以公平的教学参与为根本原则。在具体的实施路径上,一是精心准备教学设计,保障STEAM教学质量;二是充分利用教学资源,创设STEAM教学条件;三是灵活开展教学评价,促进学生的持续发展;四是积极参加专业培训,提升STEAM教学能力。 展开更多
