Service Level Agreement (SLA) is thereby proposed to manage telecom services with guaranteed QoS and to address the QoS issues between Service Providers (SP) and users. SLA representation template, violation process and metrics evaluation are three key techniques to implement SLA. A typical SLA management system includes SLA data management, SLA problem management, and SLA management. SLA research is still in its primary stage and SLA management is yet to be standardized With general and special management approaches to be defined in the future, the unified industry standard will finally take shape.展开更多

The generalized Born approximation is an approximation method that represents the scattering term by the error between the exact Green's function and the approximate Green's function,mainly for the gradient sc...The generalized Born approximation is an approximation method that represents the scattering term by the error between the exact Green's function and the approximate Green's function,mainly for the gradient scattering problem.However,so far,the research on the generalized Born approximation has only stayed in theory,and its implementation techniques are rarely reported.In order to fill this gap,the basic theory of generalized Born approximation is reviewed,and the implementation method of generalized Born approximation is discussed in this paper.In particular,the problem of calculating boundary effect elimination is discussed in detail.Finally,through model trial calculation,the calculation of gradient scattering,by comparing Born approximation and finite difference method,shows that using the generalized Born approximation to calculate gradient scattering achieves higher computational accuracy.展开更多

Industry 4.0,known as the fourth technological transformation towards digital-physical systems in manufacturing,creates a disruptive impact on industries.Manufacturing companies,especially small and medium-sized ones,...Industry 4.0,known as the fourth technological transformation towards digital-physical systems in manufacturing,creates a disruptive impact on industries.Manufacturing companies,especially small and medium-sized ones,are facing various challenges and must constantly innovate to remain competitive.One way to innovate is by implementing new technologies into company processes.In this study,we investigate how technology,company and industry related factors are associated with the implementation of Industry 4.0 in SMEs.We collect data via a survey with a focus on Industry 4.0 in SMEs.The results indicate that knowledge and expected benefits of technology are the drivers for the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies.They also show that companies with high levels of process automation and high product variety are more likely to implement Industry 4.0 technologies.Our study creates a better understanding of the status,challenges and plans within Industry 4.0 implementation in SMEs,which will support the development of SME-friendly manufacturing tools and systems and craft managers’and policymakers’understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies.展开更多
