Optimization of antenna array pattern used in a spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system is considered in this study. A robust evolutionary algorithm, Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms (the improved NSGA-Ⅱ), is applied on a spaceborne SAR antenna pattern design. The system consists of two objective functions with two constraints. Pareto fronts are generated as a result of multi-objective optimization. After being validated by a test problem ZDT4, the algorithms are used to synthesize spaceborne SAR antenna radiation pattern. The good results with low Ambi- guity-to-Signal Ratio (ASR) and high directivity are obtained in the paper. 展开更多

Tornadoes can destroy or severely damage physical infrastructure including buildings in a community.This can result in direct losses but also indirect losses such as the closure of key social institutions reverberating further through the community(e.g.,schools).Despite significant losses in past events,building codes and standards have not previously included tornado hazards because of the relatively low probability of a direct strike.The recent release of the ASCE 7-22 standard considers tornadoes for Risk Category 3 and 4 buildings,i.e.ranging from schools to critical facilities.This study proposes a series of design combinations of a reinforced masonry school building with different performance targets intended to enable schools to reopen sooner.Tornado fragilities were developed for a school building having improved designs using tornado loads determined based on the new tornado chapter in ASCE 7-22,and then integrated into a community level model with school attendance zones to examine the effect.The ultimate goal in this study is to investigate the effect of improving school building designs would have on maintaining school continuity(and more rapid return)for school children. 展开更多

The improvement on the calculation of anti-Stokes energy transfer rate is studied in the present work. The additional proportion coefficient between Stokes and anti-Stokes light intensities of quantum Raman scattering theory as compared with the classical Raman theory is introduced to successfully describe the anti-Stokes energy transfer. The theoretical formula for the improvement on the calculation of anti-Stokes energy transfer rate is derived for the first time in this study. The correctness of introducing coefficient exp{△E/kT} from well-known Raman scatter theory is demonstrated also. Moreover, the experimental lifetime measurement in Er0.01YbxY1-0.01-xVO4 crystal is performed to justify the validity of our important improvement in the original phonon-assisted energy transfer theory for the first time. 展开更多

The method first selects a patch of mesh around an irregular node. It then seeks the best connection of the selected patch according to its irregular valence using a new topological operation: small polygon reconnection (SPR). By replacing the original patch with an optimal one that has less irregular valence, mesh quality can be improved. Three applications based on the proposed approach are enumerated: (1) improving the quality of a quadrilateral mesh, (2) converting a triangular mesh to a quadrilateral one, and (3) adapting a triangle generator to a quadrilateral one. 目的通过常规微创穿刺手术和改良微创穿刺手术的对比研究,评价改良微创穿刺手术治疗基底节脑出血的临床应用效果。方法选取2009年1月—2016年12月我院共施行基底节脑出血微创穿刺手术的患者61例作为研究对象。采取随机分组方式,将接受... 目的通过常规微创穿刺手术和改良微创穿刺手术的对比研究,评价改良微创穿刺手术治疗基底节脑出血的临床应用效果。方法选取2009年1月—2016年12月我院共施行基底节脑出血微创穿刺手术的患者61例作为研究对象。采取随机分组方式,将接受常规手术的33例患者列为常规手术组,将接受改良手术的28例患者列为改良手术组。对比两组患者的治疗效果。结果改良手术组病例在术后继发出血方面优于常规手术组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);改良手术组病例在住院天数、住院费用、手术用时、手术失血等方面与常规手术组比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论改良微创穿刺手术治疗基底节脑出血可以取得更加理想的治疗效果,适合基层医院开展。 展开更多

Model 1 determines the searching area. We predict the trajectory of floats generated after the disintegration of the plane by using RBF neural network model, and then determine the searching area according to the trajectory. With the pass of time, the searching area will also be constantly moving along the trajectory. Model 2 develops a maritime search plan to achieve the purpose of completing the search in the shortest time. We optimize the searching time and transform the problem into the 0-1 knapsack problem. Solving this problem by improved genetic algorithm, we can get the shortest searching time and the best choice for the search power. 展开更多

In the materials of micro-structured, the propagation of wave modeling should take into account the scale of various microstructures. The different kinds solitary wave solutions of strain wave dynamical model are derived via utilizing exp(-φ(ξ))-expansion and extended simple equation methods. This dynamical equation plays a key role in engineering and mathematical physics. Solutions obtained in this work include periodic solitary waves, Kink and antiKink solitary waves, bell-shaped solutions, solitons, and rational solutions. These exact solutions help researchers for knowing the physical phenomena of this wave equation. The stability of this dynamical model is examined via standard linear stability analysis, which authenticate that the model is stable and their solutions are exact. Graphs are depicted for knowing the movements of some solutions. The results show that the current methods, by the assist of symbolic calculation, give an effectual and direct mathematical tools for resolving the nonlinear problems in applied sciences. 展开更多
