Numerical Treatment of Initial Value Problems of Nonlinear Ordinary Differential Equations by Duan-Rach-Wazwaz Modified Adomian Decomposition Method

We employ the Duan-Rach-Wazwaz modified Adomian decomposition method for solving initial value problems for the systems of nonlinear ordinary differential equations numerically. In order to confirm practicality, robustness and reliability of the method, we compare the results from the modified Adomian decomposition method with those from the MATHEMATICA solutions and also from the fourth-order Runge Kutta method solutions in some cases. Furthermore, we apply Padé approximants technique to improve the solutions of the modified decomposition method whenever the exact solutions exist.

The Existence of Solutions of Initial Value Problems for Nonlinear Second Order Impulsive Integro-Differential Equations of Mixed Type in Banach Spaces

By the use of Mnch fixed point theorem and a new comparison result,the solutions of initial value problems for nonlinear second order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces are investigated and the existence theorem is obtained.

Local and Global Existence of Solutions to Initial Value Problems of Modified Nonlinear Kawahara Equations

This paper is devoted to studying the initial value problem of the modified nonlinear Kawahara equation the first partial dervative of u to t ,the second the third ＋α the second partial dervative of u to x ,the second the third ＋β the third partial dervative of u to x ,the second the thire ＋γ the fifth partial dervative of u to x = 0,（x,t）∈R^2.We first establish several Strichartz type estimates for the fundamental solution of the corresponding linear problem. Then we apply such estimates to prove local and global existence of solutions for the initial value problem of the modified nonlinear Karahara equation. The results show that a local solution exists if the initial function uo（x） ∈ H^s（R） with s ≥ 1/4, and a global solution exists if s ≥ 2.

Local and Global Existence of Solutions to Initial Value Problems of Nonlinear Kaup-Kupershmidt Equations

This paper is devoted to studying the initial value problems of the nonlinear Kaup Kupershmidt equations δu/δt ＋ α1 uδ^2u/δx^2 ＋ βδ^3u/δx^3 ＋ γδ^5u/δx^5 = 0, （x,t）∈ E R^2, and δu/δt ＋ α2 δu/δx δ^2u/δx^2 ＋ βδ^3u/δx^3 ＋ γδ^5u/δx^5 = 0, （x, t） ∈R^2. Several important Strichartz type estimates for the fundamental solution of the corresponding linear problem are established. Then we apply such estimates to prove the local and global existence of solutions for the initial value problems of the nonlinear Kaup- Kupershmidt equations. The results show that a local solution exists if the initial function u0（x） ∈ H^s（R）, and s ≥ 5/4 for the first equation and s≥301/108 for the second equation.

EXISTENCE AND NONEXISTENCE FOR THE INITIAL BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM OF ONE CLASS OF SYSTEM OF MULTIDIMENSIONAL NONLINEAR SCHRDINGER EQUATIONS WITH OPERATOR AND THEIR SOLITON SOLUTIONS

The nonlinear interactions between the monochromatic wave have been considered by K. Matsunchi, who also proposed one class of the nonlinear Schrdinger equation system with wave operator. We also obtain the same type of equations, which are satisfied by transverse velocity of higher frequency electron, as we study soliton in plasma physics. In this paper, under some condition we study the existence and nonexistence for this equations in the cases possessing different signs in nonlinear term.

Initial Value Problems for Second Order Impulsive Integro-Differential Equation in Banach Spaces

By an established comparison result and using the upper and lower solutions,one sufficient condition of existence of minimal and maximal solutions to initial value problem for second order impulsive integro-differential equation in Banach spaces is obtained and the related results are essentially improved.At the same time, another sufficient condition of existence of minimal and maximal solutions based on the Kuratowski measure of noncompactness is given.

Initial value problem for a class of fourth-order nonlinear wave equations

In this paper, existence and uniqueness of the generalized global solution and the classical global solution to the initial value problem for a class of fourth-order nonlinear wave equations are studied in the fractional order Sobolev space using the contraction mapping principle and the extension theorem. The sufficient conditions for the blow up of the solution to the initial value problem are given.

INITIAL-BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM AND CAUCHY PROBLEM FOR A QUASILINEAR EVOLUTION EQUATION

In the present paper,the local existence of classical solutions to the periodic boundary problem and the Cauchy problem of a quasilinear evolution equation are studied under the assumptions that do not require the monotonicity of σi(s) (i= 1,…, n). The nonexistence of global solutions to the initial-boundary value problem of the equation is also discussed, a blowup theorem is proved and a concrete example is given.

Mixed Monotone Iterative Technique and Boundary Value Problem for a Class of Impulsive Integro-Differential Equations

In this paper,the existence and uniqueness of iterative solutions to the boundary value problems for a class of first order impulsive integro-differential equations were studied. Under a new concept of upper and lower solutions, a new monotone iterative technique on the boundary value problem of integro-differential equations was proposed. The existence and uniqueness of iterative solutions and the error estimation in certain interval were obtained.An example was also given to illustrate the results.

In this paper, we study the initiial-boundary value problem of one class of nonlinear Schrodinger equations described in molecular crystals. Furthermore, the existence of the global solution is obtained by means of interpolation inequality and a priori estimation.

Some integral identities of smooth solution of inhomogeneous initial boundary value problem of Ginzburg-Landau equations were deduced, by which a priori estimates of the square norm on boundary of normal derivative and the square norm of partial derivatives were obtained. Then the existence of global weak solution of inhomogeneous initial-boundary value problem of Ginzburg-Landau equations was proved by the method of approximation technique and a priori estimates and making limit.

The Third Initial-boundary Value Problem for a Class of Parabolic Monge-Ampère Equations

For the more general parabolic Monge-Ampère equations defined by the operator F （D2u ＋ σ（x））, the existence and uniqueness of the admissible solution to the third initial-boundary value problem for the equation are established. A new structure condition which is used to get a priori estimate is established.

In the present paper, an equation of nonlinear chromatography is derived from the physical chemistry A recursion formula of the symmetries of the equation as well as an infinite number of symmetries is found. A series of Backlund transformations of the equation are constructed by means of the symmetries. The exact solutions of two boundary-initial value problems on the half straight line for the equation are given m terms of the solutions of the corresponding linear problems.

Multi-Cuspon Solutions of the Wadati-Konno-Ichikawa Equation by Riemann-Hilbert Problem Method

In this paper, we consider the initial value problem for a complete integrable equation introduced by Wadati-Konno-Ichikawa (WKI). The solution ?is reconstructed in terms of the solution of a ?matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem via the asymptotic behavior of the spectral variable at one non-singularity point, i.e., . Then, the one-cuspon solution, two-cuspon solutions and three-cuspon solution are discussed in detail. Further, the numerical simulations are given to show the dynamic behaviors of these soliton solutions.

Blow-up of solution for a generalized Boussinesq equation

This paper studies the initial boundary value problem for a generalized Boussinese equation and proves the existence and uniqueness of the local generalized solution of the problem by using the Galerkin method. Moreover, it gives the sufficient conditions of blow-up of the solution in finite time by using the concavity method.

QUALITATIVE ANALYSISFOR THE SOLUTION OFKURAMOTO-SIVASHINSKY EQUATION

In this paper, two kinds of initial boundary value problems for Kuramoto_Sivashinsky equation are considered. Some prior estimates are derived by Galerkin methods. The existence, uniqueness and regularities of the generalized global solutions and the classical global solutions for the equation are proved. Morever, the asymptotic behavior of these solutions are considered under some conditions.

Global solution for quantum Zakharov equations
