A portable EN monitoring system was established and two e...This work aimed to in-situ monitor the atmospheric corrosion of steels exposed to Zhoushan offshore environment by using electrochemical noise(EN) technique. A portable EN monitoring system was established and two electrochemical probes(named as Q235 B and T91) were designed. Experimental results indicated that the noise resistance of T91 steel was higher than that of Q235 B steel, revealing that the corrosion resistance of T91 was higher than that of Q235 B. A 60-day monitoring result indicated that the noise resistance was well correlated with the weight loss data. Wavelet analyses results of EN data indicated that Q235 B underwent uniform corrosion and T91 suffered from localized corrosion, which was further confirmed by the surface observation. It is concluded that EN can be used as a new method to identify the corrosion form and corrosion resistance in atmospheric conditions.展开更多

We assumed that FIF technique may result in improved dose distribution and reduced acute toxicity in these patients. </span><b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Methods: </span></b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Forty breast cancer patient</span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">s</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> participated in this study. A total dose of 50 Gy in 25 fractions was prescribed to the planning target volume. FiF plan was generated in treatment planning system. A total dose of 40.05 Gy in 15 fractions was prescribed to the Planning Target Volume (PTV) of the whole bilateral breast cancer with the supraclavicular and infraclavicular nodes, with a complementary boost of 10 Gy in 4 fractions to the surgical bed (PTV</span><sub><span style="font-family:Verdana;">boost</span></sub><span style="font-family:Verdana;">). For both radiotherapy techniques, several V</span><sub><span style="font-family:Verdana;">xGy</span></sub><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> parameters were analyzed for the PTVs, together with the Conformity index (CI), the Homogeneity index (HI) and the critical organs at risk (OARs), lungs and heart. </span><b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Results:</span></b><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> The patient was treated by the VMAT technique and the daily treatment time was less than 20 minutes with daily CBCT imaging. The reconstruction of bare rock area arbor-shrub-grass ecosystems is a global environmental science problem. Paying attention to Geological conditions with rich rock fissures and abundant groundwater in these fissures, following the idea to reconstruct ecosystem from arbor to shrub and grass and the principle one tree in a baseplate, authors develop a baseplate technique for tree planting in bare rock area. The baseplate includes the parent body, the root, and the cover to prevent evaporation. Especially, there are filled in nutritional soil for the parent body and the root, and the composition of nutritional soil are selected by test in laboratory, while optimal mix ratio of the composition is obtained. Then, application method in field is put forward. The technique can guarantee survival at early stage and growth in the later for tree planting in the baseplate. In particular, the root provides a good channel to guide tree roots into fissure rock and absorb groundwater in rock. Test in field shows that the baseplate technique has strong practicality in vegetation recovery of bare rock area. Strawberry is one of the popular fruits with numerous nutrients.The ripeness of this fruits was estimated using the hyperspectral imaging(HSI)system in field and laboratory conditions in this study.Strawberry at early...Strawberry is one of the popular fruits with numerous nutrients.The ripeness of this fruits was estimated using the hyperspectral imaging(HSI)system in field and laboratory conditions in this study.Strawberry at early ripe and ripe stageswere collected HSI data,coveredwavelength ranges from370 to 1015 nm.Spectral featurewavelengths were selected using the sequential feature selection(SFS)algorithm.Two wavelengths selected for field(530 and 604 nm)and laboratory(528 and 715 nm)samples,respectively.Then,reliability of such spectral featureswas validated based on support vectormachine(SVM)classifier.Performance of SVMclassification models had good resultswith receiver operating characteristic values for samples under both field and laboratory conditions higher than 0.95.Meanwhile,the spatial feature images were extracted from the spectral feature wavelength and the first three principal components for laboratory samples.Pretrained AlexNet convolutional neural network(CNN)was used to classify the early ripe and ripe strawberry samples,which obtained the accuracy of 98.6%for test dataset.The above results indicated real-time HSI system was promising for estimating strawberry ripeness under field and laboratory conditions,which could be a potential application technique for evaluating the harvesting time management for farmers and producers.展开更多
