Live births from in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer following the administration of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist without gonadotropins:Two case reports

BACKGROUND The prevalence of female infertility between the ages of 25 and 44 is 3.5%to 16.7%in developed countries and 6.9%to 9.3%in developing countries.This means that infertility affects one in six couples and is recognized by the World Health Organization as the fifth most serious global disability.The International Committee for Monitoring Assisted Reproductive Technology reported that the global total of babies born as a result of assisted reproductive technology procedures and other advanced fertility treatments is more than 8 million.Advancements in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation procedures led to crucial accomplishments in human fertility treatments.The European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology guideline on ovarian stimulation gave us valuable evidence-based recommendations to optimize ovarian stimulation in assisted reproductive technology.Conventional ovarian stimulation protocols for in vitro fertilization(IVF)–embryo transfer are based upon the administration of gonadotropins combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH)analogues,either GnRH agonists(GnRHa)or antagonists.The development of ovarian cysts requires the combination of GnRHa and gonadotropins for controlled ovarian hyperstimulation.However,in rare cases patients may develop an ovarian hyper response after administration of GnRHa alone.CASE SUMMARY Here,two case studies were conducted.In the first case,a 33-year-old female diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome presented for her first IVF cycle at our reproductive center.Fourteen days after triptorelin acetate was administrated(day 18 of her menstrual cycle),bilateral ovaries presented polycystic manifestations.The patient was given 5000 IU of human chorionic gonadotropin.Twenty-two oocytes were obtained,and eight embryos formed.Two blastospheres were transferred in the frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycle,and the patient was impregnated.In the second case,a 37-year-old woman presented to the reproductive center for her first donor IVF cycle.Fourteen days after GnRHa administration,the transvaginal ultrasound revealed six follicles measuring 17-26 mm in the bilateral ovaries.The patient was given 10000 IU of human chorionic gonadotropin.Three oocytes were obtained,and three embryos formed.Two high-grade embryos were transferred in the frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycle,and the patient was impregnated.CONCLUSION These two special cases provide valuable knowledge through our experience.We hypothesize that oocyte retrieval can be an alternative to cycle cancellation in these conditions.Considering the high progesterone level in most cases of this situation,we advocate freezing embryos after oocyte retrieval rather than fresh embryo transfer. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Gastric ulcer(GU)is a common digestive tract disease,and medical records of GU combined with depression are increasingly common.Currently,the risk factors and pathogenesis of GU complicated with depression remain unclear.Low immune function and gastrointestinal hormone levels may also be significant risk factors.Therefore,this study explored the immune function and gastrointestinal hormone levels in patients with GU combined with depression.AIM To explore the immune function,gastrointestinal hormone level,and clinical significance of patients with GU combined with depression.METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted on 300 patients with GU combined with depression admitted to Guizhou Provincial People’s Hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 as the study subjects.According to the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score,patients were divided into mild-to-moderate(n=210)and heavy(n=90)groups.Basic data,immune function indices[immunoglobulin A(IgA),IgM,IgG,serum CD4+and CD8+percentage,and CD4+/CD8+ratio],and gastrointestinal hormone indices[serum gastrin(GAS),cholecystokinin(CCK),and motilin(MTL)levels]were collected.The basic data of the two groups were compared,and the immune function and gastrointestinal hormone indices were analyzed.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the factors influencing the severity of GU complicated with depression.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and area under the ROC curve(AUC)were used to analyze the value of the immune function index,gastrointestinal hormone index,and combined index in predicting the severity of GU complicated with depression.RESULTS There were no marked differences in sex,age,body mass index,abdominal distension,abdominal pain,belching,nausea,vomiting,or sleep disorders between the heavy and mild-to-moderate groups(P>0.05).There was a marked difference in the family history of depression between the heavy and mild-to-moderate groups(P<0.05).There were significant differences in serum IgA and IgM levels and serum CD4+,CD8+,and CD4+/CD8+ratios between the heavy and mild-to-moderate groups(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that IgA,IgM,GAS,and CCK serum levels influenced the severity of GU with depression(P<0.05).The AUC of the ROC curve for serum IgA level predicting GU with depression severity was 0.808[95%confidence interval(CI):0.760-0.857],the AUC of the serum IgM level was 0.757(95%CI:0.700-0.814),the AUC of the serum GAS level was 0.853(95%CI:0.810-0.897),the AUC of the serum CCK level was 0.762(95%CI:0.709-0.822),the AUC of immune function(IgA,IgM)and gastrointestinal hormone levels(GAS,CCK)for the prediction of GU with depression severity was 0.958(95%CI:0.933-0.976).CONCLUSION Important factors influencing GU complicated with depression are serum IgA,IgM,GAS,and CCK indicators.They can be used as indicators to predict the severity of GU complicated with depression. 展开更多

[Objective]The aim was to select the suitable hormone factors for flowering induction in vitro culture of Dendrobium officinate Kimura et Migo.[Method]The test-tube plantlets from the stems of Dendrobium officinate Kimura et Migo were used as the experimental materials and MS medium as the basic medium.Comparative tests have been done between single-factor hormone treatments(different concentrations of PP333 or TDZ) and multi-factor hormone treatments(different combinations of PP333,TDZ,6-BA and NAA) to research the effects of hormone factors on the flowering induction of the plantlets.[Result]Among the single-factor hormone treatments,the suitable concentration and the rate of flower buds formation of PP333 treatment were 0.2 mg/L and 8.5%,the that of TDZ treatment were 0.06 mg/L and 15.5%;the effects of multi-factor hormone treatments on the flowering induction were ordered as follow:(PP333 + 6-BA + NAA + TDZ)〉 (PP333 + 6-BA + NAA)〉 (PP333 + 6-BA) and(PP333 + NAA) ;the most suitable treatment was PP333 0.3 mg/L + 6-BA 0.5 mg/L + NAA 0.5 mg/L + TDZ 0.06 mg/L,the rate of flower bud formation and the rate of the blossomed flower were respectly reached to 80.4% and 90.3%.[Conclusion]PP333 and TDZ showed the important effect on the flowering induction in vitro culture of Dendrobium officinate Kimura et Migo.The effect of TDZ was better than that of PP333.It is much more conducive to the flower bud formation,when using appropriate concentration of TDZ combined with other hormones properly. 展开更多

Background: The filamentous fungus Talaromyces versatifis is known to improve the metabolizable energy of wheat- based poultry diets thanks to its ability to produce a pool of CAZymes and particularly endo-β(1,4)-xylanases. In order to appreciate their in vivo mode of action, the supplementation effect of two of its xylanases, XynD and XynB from families GH10 and GHll respectively, have been evaluated on two different wheat cultivars Caphorn and Isengrain, which were chosen amongst 6 varieties for their difference in non starch polysaccharides content and arabinoxylan composition. Results: Polysaccharides digestion was followed during 6 h along the digestive tract using the TNO gastrointestinal model-1, to mimic monogastric metabolism. Polysaccharide degradation appeared to occur mainly at the jejunal level and was higher with Isengrain than with Caphorn. For both cultivars, XynD and XynB supplementation increased notably the amount of reducing end sugars into the jejuno-ileal dialysates, which has been confirmed by a valuable increase of the soluble glucose into the jejunal dialysates. Conclusions: The amounts of arabinose and xylose into the dialysates and ileal deliveries increased consequently mainly for Caphorn, suggesting that XynD and XynB supplementation in wheat-based diet could alleviate the anti-nutritional effects of arabinoxylans by limiting the physical entrapment of starch and could increase the available metabolizable energy. 展开更多

Red and blue light illumination has been reported to significantly affect plantlet growth.Potato is an important food and feed crop in the world and potato plantlet cultured in vitro plays an important role in potato production.However,few studies have documented the effects of red and blue light on the growth of potato plantlets revealed at the transcriptome level.The objective of this study was to determine the growth and physiological responses of potato plantlets cultured in vitro under monochromatic red(RR),monochromatic blue(BB)as well as combined red and blue(RB)LEDs using the RNA-Seq technique.In total,3150 and 814 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were detected in potato plantlets under RR and BB,respectively,compared to RB(used as control).Compared to the control,the DEGs enriched in"photosynthesis"and"photosynthesis-antenna proteins"metabolic pathways were up-regulated and down-regulated by BB and RR,respectively,which might be responsible for the increases and decreases of maximum quantum yield(F_(v)/F_(m)),photochemical quantum yield(φ_(PSII)),photochemical quenching(q_(P))and electron transfer rate(ETR)in BB and RR,respectively.Potato plantlets exhibited dwarfed stems and extended leaves under BB,whereas elongated stems and small leaves were induced under RR.These dramatically altered plantlet phenotypes were associated with variable levels of endogenous plant hormones gibberellin(GAs),indoleacetic acid(IAA)and cytokinins(CKs),as assessed in stems and leaves of potato plantlets.In addition,monochromatic red and blue LEDs trigged the opposite expression profiles of DEGs identified in the"plant hormone signal transduction"metabolic pathway,which were closely related to the endogenous plant hormone levels in potato plantlets.Our results provide insights into the responses of potato plantlets cultured in vitro to red and blue LEDs at the transcriptomic level and may contribute to improvements in the micro-propagation of potato plantlets cultured in vitro from the light spectrum aspect. 展开更多

Enhanced Free Radical Scavenging and Inhibition of DPP-4 and ACE Activities by Compounds from Salmon Tissues Digested in Vitro with Gastrointestinal Proteases

Research on marine bioactive peptides has mainly focused on characterization of peptides in hydrolysates prepared with commercial industrial enzymes and the usefulness of such hydrolysates in health and functional foods. However, a relevant question is whether digestion of fish proteins with gastrointestinal proteases per se generates peptides that also can have health promoting properties and can reduce, e.g., diabetes 2, inflammation and hypertension either in relation to gastrointestinal digestion or as alternative to industrial proteases. The aim of the study was to investigate hydrolysates obtained from in vitro sequential digestion of salmon muscle and skin with gastrointestinal proteases including pepsin, pancreatic and pancreatic + mucosal proteases for their ability to scavenge ABTS^+ radicals and inhibit activity of angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) and dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4). Furthermore, it was the aim to study the inhibitory mechanism and stability towards ACE and DPP-4 activity. Analysis of〈 10 kDa hydrolysates showed that gastrointestinal proteases generated peptides with clear radical scavenging activity and DPP-4 and ACE inhibiting activity as well. Hydrolysates from pepsin digestion exhibited the lowest ECso values for radical scavenging activity and ACE inhibition, whereas ECso increased in hydrolysates after subsequent digestion with pancreatic and mucosal proteases. Interestingly, ECso values for the DPP-4 inhibition were hardly affected by sequential digestion. Inhibition modes for the muscle hydrolysates were both competitive and non-competitive, but prolonged incubation showed that the inhibitory properties were unstable and therefore they were probably digested as competitive substrates by gastrointestinal proteases. 展开更多

Objective:To observe the effect and mechanism of Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction(XSLJZD)drug serum on gastric antrum smooth muscle cells(SMCs)in rats with functional dyspepsia(FD).Methods:Gastric antrum SMCs from rats with FD were isolated,cultured,and then divided into six groups as follows:control,model,domperidone,low-dose XSLJZD(LXSLJZD),medium-dose XSLJZD(MXSLJZD),and high-dose XSLJZD(HXSLJZD).Each group was administered the corresponding drug serum for intervention.Drug serum intervention conditions and proliferative activity of SMCs were tested by cholecystokinin octapeptide.Ghrelin,gastrin,somatostatin,and substance P(SP)levels were measured by ELISA.Somatostatin and SP mRNA expression was measured by real-time PCR.Results:A concentration of 10%drug serum for 24 h was decided to be the best intervention condition for later study.The mean optical density value in the model group was lower than that in the control group(P紏.001).Optical density values in the domperidone and HXSLJZD groups were higher than those in the model group(P?.025,P?.032,respectively).Gastrin,SP,and ghrelin levels in the model group were lower(P?.007,P?.037,P?.005,respectively),but somatostatin levels were higher,compared with those in the control group(P?.031).Gastrin,SP,and ghrelin levels in the domperidone,MXSLJZD,and HXSLJZD groups were higher than those in the model group(all P<.05).Somatostatin levels in the four drug-treated groups were lower than those in the model group(P?.002,P?.007,P?.001,P?.009,respectively).SP mRNA levels in the model group were lower than those in the control,domperidone,MXSLJZD,and HXSLJZD groups(P?.037 P?.016,P?.025,P?.002,respectively).Somatostatin mRNA levels in the model group were higher than those in the control and MXSLJZD groups(P紏.042,P紏.035).Conclusions:XSLJZD and domperidone drug serum effectively promote proliferative activity of gastric antrum SMCs in an FD model.The mechanism of this activity may be regulated by gastrointestinal hormones. 展开更多

The aim was to compare the effects of hormone treatments on the ovari- an follicular development and in vitro embryo development between 5-week and 13- week old lambs. FSH and pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG) treatment were used to compare the number of 2-8 mm follicles in the ovary and the in vitro embryo development. The results showed that: the 5-week old lambs had larger fol- licular numbers and collected oocytes numbers (58.6±1.9, 47.4±4.2) than the 13- week old lambs (14.4±4.1, 11.6±1.7), and the difference was significant (P〈0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the cleavage rate (60.0±1.9%, 61.6± 5.2%) and blastocyst rate (27.4±2.1%, 28.2±3.7%) of the fertilized oocytes between the 5-week and 13-week old lambs. 展开更多

Methods: A total of 117 patients with IBS-D who were admitted in our hospital were included in the study and randomized into the control group (n=58) and the treatment group (n=59). The patients in the control group were given trimebutine;while the patients in the treatment group were given trimebutine in combined with alprazolam. The patients in the two groups were continuously treated for 4 weeks. The levels of gastrointestinal hormones and brain-gut peptide before and after treatment in the two groups were detected and compared. SF-36 was used to analyze the living quality before and after treatment in the two groups. Results: MOT;GAS;SP;and 5-HT levels after treatment in the two groups were significantly reduced;while VIP;SS;CCK;and CGRP levels and SF-36 score in each dimension were significantly elevated;and the comparison between the two groups was statistically significant. Conclusions:Trimebutine in combined with alprazolam in the treatment of IBS-D can significantly improve the gastrointestinal hormones and brain-gut peptide;and enhance the living quality;with a significant efficacy. 展开更多

Methods:A total of 68 patients who received radical operation for pancreatic cancer in Chengdu Third People's Hospital between May 2015 and February 2017 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into TPF-T group and TP group who received early postoperative enteral immunonutrition intervention and conventional enteral nutrition intervention respectively. The levels of gastrointestinal hormones MTL, GAS, CGRP, Ghrelin and stress hormones ACTH, Cor,R, AT-II, ALD in serum as well as the levels of immune cells CD4+T, CD8+T, NKT, Treg, Breg, MDSC in peripheral blood were detected before surgery as well as 3 d and 7 d after surgery. Results: 3 d and 7 d after surgery, MTL, GAS, CGRP and Ghrelin levels in serum as well as CD4+T cell, CD8+T cell and NKT cell levels in peripheral blood of both groups of patients were significantly lower than those before surgery while ACTH, Cor, R, AT-II and ALD levels in serum as well as Treg, Breg and MDSC levels in peripheral blood were significantly higher than those before surgery, and MTL, GAS, CGRP and Ghrelin levels in serum as well as CD4+T cell, CD8+T cell and NKT cell levels in peripheral blood of TPF-T group were significantly higher than those of TP group while ACTH, Cor, R, AT-II and ALD levels in serum as well as Treg, Breg and MDSC levels in peripheral blood were significantly lower than those of TP group. Conclusion: Early postoperative enteral immunonutrition intervention can regulate the gastrointestinal hormone secretion, inhibit stress response and improve immune response. 展开更多

Plant in vitro organogenesis is well-controlled and thus provides an ideal system for plant propagation and studying mechanisms of plant development. However, the data on systematic in vitro organogenesis from leaf explant with various concentrations and combinations of hormones are limited. Arabidopsis is a very useful model plant species for many aspects of plant biological study. Here, we reported a simple, fast and efficient one-step process for evaluating leaf explant-derived in vitro Arabidopsis organogenesis involving the application of various concentrations and combinations of exogenous hormones. The central portion of the fourth rosette leaf was harvested from the 21-days-old seedling and cultured in vitro on the media containing 216 combinations of exogenous hormones. Different types of organs, including roots, shoots, inflorescences, and leaf-like organs were initiated from leaf explants. Several optimal experimental combinations were selected. A hormone combination, 1.00 μM NAA + 10.00 μM ZT, was considered as the most efficient one for adventitious shoot regeneration. And for adventitious root regeneration, six hormone combinations, [(NAA + ZT: 1.00 + 0.10 μM;10.00 + 0.01 μM;20.00 + 0.10 μM;20.00 + 1.00 μM) and (NAA + 6-BA: 10.00 + 0.10 μM;20.00 + 10.00 μM)], were thought to be the best ones. BACKGROUND With the change in people’s lifestyles,the incidence of colorectal cancer(CRC)is increasing.It is essential to study the efficacy of various treatment methods for CRC patients to prevent and treat CRC.AIM To investigate the efficacy of biofeedback therapy combined with Baduanjin in improving the quality of life and gastrointestinal hormone levels of patients with CRC.METHODS A total of 120 patients with CRC who were admitted to our hospital from June 2020 to June 2021 were included in the study.They were randomly divided into four groups(n=30):the control group(group A),the biofeedback therapy intervention group(group B),the Baduanjin exercise intervention group(group C),and the combination group(group D).Patients in group A adopted the standard nursing mode and necessary health education.Patients in group B were treated with biofeedback therapy based on routine nursing care.Patients in group C were given Baduanjin intervention for 12 wk based on conventional drug treatment and care.Patients in group D were treated with biofeedback therapy and Baduanjin exercise.In this study,patients’quality of life,gastrointestinal hormone levels,and clinical efficacy in the four groups were observed at baseline and 12 wk after intervention.Meanwhile,the correlation between gastrointestinal hormone levels and various functional areas of quality of life was analyzed.By comparing the observed indicators of patients in the four groups,the efficacy of biofeedback therapy combined with Baduanjin in improving the quality of life and gastrointestinal hormone levels of patients with CRC was explored.RESULTS At baseline,there were no significant differences in quality of life,gastrointestinal hormone levels,or clinical efficacy among the four groups(P>0.05).Twelve weeks after the intervention,the combination group’s quality of life,gastrointestinal hormone levels,and clinical effectiveness were better than those of the three other groups.CONCLUSION On the basis of routine nursing care,patients with CRC combined with biofeedback therapy and Baduanjin exercise can improve the quality of life of patients with CRC and the efficacy of gastrointestinal hormone levels. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the effect of intestinal flora from Henoch-Schönlein purpura(HSP)on visceral sensitivity,gastrointestinal hormones and cytokines in pseudo-sterile rats.Methods:The pseudo-sterile rat model was established.The rats were was given fecal microbiota solutions of children with abdominal HSP and healthy children,respectively.The visceral sensitivity was determined by abdominal withdrawal reflex(AWR)which was induced by rectal balloon distention in all the rats.And serum gastrin(Gas),motilin(MTL),cholecystokinin(CCK),substance P(SP),tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αand interleukin(IL)-6 levels in rats were measured with ELISA method.Results:The volume of rectum water injection under the score 3 of AWR in the rats administrated with fecal microbiota solution from HSP children(HSP group)was significantly decreased compared with that in the rats administrated with fecal microbiota solution from healthy children(HC group),and there was significant difference between these two groups(P<0.05).The serum Gas,MTL,CCK and SP levels were higher in HSP group than those in HC group.And serum MTL,CCK and SP levels in HSP group were significantly different from those in the HC group.The serum TNF-αandIL-6 levels were higher in HSP group than those in HC group,there was significant difference between these two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Intestinal flora from HSP can induce the production of visceral sensitivity,inhibit gastrointestinal hormone secretion and prompt cytokine production. 展开更多

Correlation between serum CGRP and gastrointestinal hormones, inflammatory response in patients with reflux esophagitis

Objective:To detect serum content of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) in patients with reflux esophagitis (RE), evaluate the relationship between CGRP and gastrointestinal hormones, inflammatory response.Methods: 119 cases of RE patients diagnosed in our hospital during August 2015 to March 2018 were divided into stage I-II RE group (n=72) and stage III-IV RE group (n=47) according to Savary-Miller criteria, 100 cases of healthy volunteers underwent routine gastroenteroscopy at the same time were selected as Normal control group. Serum content of CGRP, gastrointestinal hormones and inflammatory response indexes were measured and their correlations were evaluated.Results: Serum content of CGRP in stage I-II RE group, stage III-IV RE group were higher than those in Normal control group;contents of GAS and MTL in stage I-II RE group, stage III-IV RE group were lower than those in Normal control group, contents of VIP and SS were higher than those in Normal control group;contents of inflammatory reaction indexes such as IL-4, IL-17, IL-23 and IFN-γwere higher than those in Normal control group (P<0.05). Along with aggravation of RE, above indexes increased significantly (P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that, serum content of CGRP in RE patients were directly related to the levels of gastrointestinal hormones and inflammatory markers (P<0.05).Conclusion: Expression of CGRP in RE patients is abnormally high, and the specific content is directly related to the degree of gastrointestinal hormone secretion disorder and systemic inflammatory reaction, which is of great significance to the auxiliary evaluation of RE. 展开更多

Objective: To discuss the effects of minimally invasive surgery under transrectal anoscope on pain stress, gastrointestinal hormones and vascular endothelial function in patients with rectal cancer. Methods Totally 64 patients with rectal cancer who underwent minimally invasive surgery under transanal anastomosis from January 2017 to December 2018 in our hospital were selected as the observation group and the retrospective analysis of clinical data was conducted. Another 64 patients who underwent traditional laparotomy at the same time in our hospital were selected as the control group. Pain stress, gastrointestinal hormones, vascular endothelial function, and tumor marker changes were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in pain stress index, gastrointestinal hormone, vascular endothelial function index and tumor marker level between the two groups before operation (P>0.05). After operation, the levels of SP, BK and PGE2 in the two groups were higher than those before surgery (P<0.05), and the levels of GAS, MTL, VIP, VEGF, MMP-9, ET-1, CEA, CA724, CA125 and CA19-9 were higher with preoperative reduction of P<0.05. The levels of SP, BK, PGE2, VEGF, MMP-9, ET-1, CEA, CA724, CA125 and CA19-9 in the observation group after operation were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the GAS, MTL and VIP levels were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Minimally invasive surgery under transanal anoscope can reduce the pain stress of patients with rectal cancer, and the influence of gastrointestinal hormones is slight. It can effectively reduce the vascular endothelial function index and tumor marker level, help the immune function recovery of patients, and promote postoperative rehabilitation of patients. 展开更多

Objective: To investigate the effects of laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer on gastrointestinal hormones, visceral protein and pain stress. Methods: A total of 96 patients with rectal cancer radical resection from January 2017 to December 2017 in our hospital, were selected as the research objects, the patients were randomly divided into the observation group (48 cases) and the control group (48 cases). The observation group received laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer, while the control group underwent open radical resection of rectal cancer. The levels of gastrin (GAS), motilin (MTL), vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), transferrin (TRF), retinol binding protein (RbP), albumin (ALB), prealbumin (PRE), P substance (SP), bradykinin (BK), and prostaglandin-E2 (PGE2) were measured and compared in the two groups. Results: Before operation, there was no significant difference in GAS, MTL and VIP between the two groups. 1, 3, and 5 d after operation, the GAS, MTL and VIP of the two groups were significantly lower than those before operation, and the differences were statistically significant. 1, 3, and 5 d after operation, GAS of the observation group were (66.60±5.79) μmol/L, (71.95±6.16) μmol/L and (77.68±6.38) μmol/L respectively, MTL were (225.68±19.83) pg/mL, (253.76±21.42) pg/mL and (289.98±24.74) pg/mL, VIP were (1.99±0.42) μmol/L, (2.43±0.46) μmol/L, (2.80±0.51) μmol/L, respectively, which were higher than that of the control group at the same time, and the difference was statistically significant. Before operation, there was no significant difference in TRF, RbP, ALB and PRE levels in the two groups. 1, 3 and 5 d after operation, the TRF, RbP, ALB and PRE levels in the two groups were significantly lower than those before operation, and the differences were statistically significant. 1, 3 and 5 d after operation, TRF of the observation group were (1.64±0.33) ng/L, (1.44±0.30) ng/L, (1.46 ±0.32) ng/L, RbP were (19.05±3.85) mg/L, (21.83±4.26) mg/L and (24.54±4.45) mg/L respectively, and ALB were (31.49±2.54) ng/L, (28.21±2.05) ng/L and (28.43±1.99) ng/L, PRE were (0.20±0.06) ng/L, (0.16±0.05) ng/L, (0.15±0.05) ng/L, which were all higher than those in the control group at the same time, and the differences were statistically significant. Before operation, there was no significant difference in SP, BK and PGE2 between the two groups. 1, 3 and 5 d after operation, the SP, BK and PGE2 of the two groups were significantly higher than those before operation and the differences were statistically significant. 1, 3 and 5 d after operation, SP of the observation group was (7.31±0.87) μg/mL, (5.43±0.51) μg/mL and (3.10±0.24) μg/mL, BK was (9.53±0.80) μg/L, (7.81±0.79) μg/L and 6.30±0.53) pg/mL, and PGE2 were (152.42±14.80) pg/mL, (131.22±13.35) pg/mL, (117.86±11.95) pg/mL, which were all lower than those in the control group at the same time, and the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion: Laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer can help patients recover gastrointestinal function faster and cause less pain stress. 展开更多

This study is aimed to investigate the effect of luteinizing hormone (LH) on maturation and fertilization in vitro of ovine oocytes. The ovine oocytes were cultured in vitro in medium with or without LH, and then checked by confocal laser scanning microscope to observe the distribution of cortical granules stained with FITC-LCA during different maturation periods. Similarly, some in vitro matured oocytes were also fertilized in vitro for analysis of their developmental potentiality further. After being cultured in vitro for 4 h, there were significant differences about the rate of germinal vesicle break down (GVBD) between the treatment (with LH) and the control groups (without any hormones) (36.76% vs 18%, P〈0.05). Further, there were also significant differences of the cleavage and blastocyst rates between these two groups (67.15% vs 42.37%, 21.9% vs 12.71%, P〈0.05, respectively). The distribution of cortical granules appeared to spread from the edges to the central site of sheep oocytes following their delaying durations of maturation in vitro. It can be concluded that LH may play a role to delay the occurence of GVBD, prolong the maturation duration of cytoplasm, and enhance the nuclear and cytoplasm synchronization of ovine oocytes matured in vitro and finally improve their in vitro developmental potentiality. 展开更多

Plant growth hormone BAP (benzyl amino purine), KIN (kinetin), NAA (1-naphthalene acetic acid) and IBA (indole-3 butyric acid) effect was studied on in vitro multiplication of shoots and rooting of Drepanostachyum falcatum. In vitro micropropagation of himalayan weeping bamboo is explained by in vitro shoot induction and proliferation. Excised explant with axillary bud is surface sterilized with 0.1% HgCl<sub>2</sub> for 10 - 12 minutes, cleaned with 90% ethanol and inoculated on liquid Murashige and Skoog (MS) culture medium supplemented with different concentrations of BAP/ KIN. Effect of BAP/KIN on shoot induction is with different rate and number of shoots produced by explants with axillary bud cultured on MS media supplemented with 0.0 mg/L BAP/KIN - 5.5 mg/L BAP/KIN. Shoot multiplication with highest rate is achieved on MS medium supplemented with 3.5 mg/L BAP after 4<sup>th</sup> sub-culturing. The most effective with highest rate and number of root induction combination is 6.5 mg/L IBA after 5 weeks. The roots produced by 6.5 mg/L IBA is best compared with other combination of auxin NAA (1-naphthalene acetic acid). 展开更多

Cyclamen leaves and petioles explants were cultured on MS media supplemented with different concentrations of 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2, 4-D) or 1-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) to induce callus. The effect of 2, 4-D on shoot regeneration was also studied. Either in media containing 2, 4-D or in media containing NAA, callus was observed, but the quality or quantity of callus induced by 2, 4-D or NAA were different. The callus induced by 2, 4-D was white, compact and having powerful multiplication capacity. The callus was inclined to browning then was poorly organogenetic. While the callus induced by NAA was yellowish in appearance. It was pultaceous and proliferated bradytelicly. The callus usually can give rise to many shoots. But the frequency of inducing callus of 2, 4-D is higher than that of NAA. The regenerative plantlets derived from the callus respectively induced by 2, 4-D or NAA were transferred into rooting medium. The frequency of rooting were no difference. 展开更多

The purpose of our study was to establish a regeneration system for micropropagation of Populus euphratica Olivier. On the basis of an analysis of plant leaf mineral nutrients, a special medium was proposed, called MP2. In optimizing media for in vitro plant cultures including MS, B5 and MP2 media we employed hormones, auxin IAA, cytokine benzyladenine (BAP) and gibberellic acid (GA) in our factorial experiments on media. Adventitious shoots were derived from cuttings of adult plants taken from Xingii- ang, west China, on selected media with MP2^+ 0.5 mg·L^-1BA+0.1 mg·L^-1 NAA. The shoots were elongated on a medium with 0.25 mg·L^-1 BAP, 0.1 mg·L^-1NAA and 2 mg·L^-1 GA and were then rooted on a medium with 0.2-0.5 mg·L^-1 IBA. All the media were incorporated with 30 g·L^-1 sucrose and an adjusted pH at 6.3. 展开更多
