We study the dynamics of a quantum dissipative system. Besides its linear coupling with a harmonic bath modelling the dissipation, we suppose that it is coupled with an oscillator with an interaction of the form s 2 x 2 . In our study, we integrate over the bath and the oscillator, extract the corresponding influence functionals and then solve the system’s sign problem. We apply the theory to the case of a double well and study the time evolution of the expectation value of the position. 展开更多

In this paper,the Kalman filter(KF)and the unbiased finite impulse response(UFIR)filter are fused in the discrete-time state-space to improve robustness against uncertainties.To avoid the problem where fusion filters may give up some advantages of UFIR filters by fusing based on noise statistics,we attempt to find a way to fuse without using noise statistics.The fusion filtering algorithm is derived using the influence function that provides a quantified measure for disturbances on the resulting filtering outputs and is termed as an influence finite impulse response(IFIR)filter.The main advantage of the proposed method is that the noise statistics of process noise and measurement noise are no longer required in the fusion process,showing that a critical feature of the UFIR filter is inherited.One numerical example and a practice-oriented case are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.It is shown that the IFIR filter has adaptive performance and can automatically switch from the Kalman estimate to the UFIR estimates according to operating conditions.Moreover,the proposed method can reduce the effects of optimal horizon length on the UFIR estimate and can give the state estimates of best accuracy among all the compared methods. 展开更多

The error of gaugemeter equation decreases the gap setting precision.The precision of gaugemeter equation is strongly influenced by plate width,work roll radius,backup roll radius,work roll crown,backup roll crown and rolling force.And these influences are hard to measure.All these factors are converted to roll deflection deformation and roll flattening deformation for calculation.In order to calculate the deformation,the theory of influence function method was adopted.By using simulation program,the influence of these factors on deformation was obtained.Then a simple model can be built.With this model,it is convenient to analyze the influence of different factors on gaugemeter equation. 展开更多

The necessity for understanding normal human cognitive processes and behavior, and themechanisrns which result in dysfunction in these processes are dependant on utilization of a suitable animal model. In order to develop pharmaceutical agents to alleviate mental disturbances and enable the individual to cope within the norms of society, it is incumbent upon investigators to choose a species in which pharmacokinetic principles are established and resemble those of hurnans. The choice of rats in cognition research studies has specific advantages in that these anirnals possess similar pharrnacodynamic parameters to hurnans. Further advantages include availability, low cost, ease of breeding, maintenance and an extensive literature database which enable comparisons to present findings. However, there are substantial differences in the perforrnance of various rat strains in tasks of learning, memory, attention, and responses to stress or drugs. In addition to rat strain, quantity of thed also exerts profound consequences on animal behavior. The aim of this review is to demonstrate that there are differences in the central nervous systern responsivencess of rat strains to chemicals and these could be related to factors such as source of supplier, type and quantity of feed, or season of the year. It is also evident that the genotype differs amongst strains and this may be responsible for the observed differences in CNS sensitivity to chemicals. Strain differences must be identified and taken into consideration in interpretation of assessrnent of neurobehavioural functions. It is also incumbent upon the investigators to utilize healthy (diet-controlled) animal models. 展开更多

The calculation error of the gauge-meter model will affect the gap setting precision and the self-learn precision of rolling force. The precision of the gauge-meter model is strongly influenced by plate width, working roll radius, backup roll radius, working roll crown, backup roll crown, and rolling force. The influence rules are hard to get by measuring. Taking a conventional 4-h plate mill as the research subject, these influences were transferred into the calculation of roll deflection and flattening deformation. To calculate these deformations, the theory of the influence function method was adopted. By modifying the traditional gauge-meter model, a novel model of the effect of roll elastic deformation on the gap setting was built by data fitting. By this model, it was convenient to analyze the variation caused by the rolling condition. Combining the elastic deformation model of rolls with the kiss-rolls method, a gauge-meter model was put forward for plate thickness prediction. The prediction precision of thickness was greatly improved by the new gauge- meter model. 展开更多

Optical membrane mirrors are promising key components for future space telescopes. Due to their ultra-thin and high flexible properties, the surfaces of these membrane mirrors are susceptible to temperature variations. Therefore adaptive shape control of the mirror is essential to maintain the surface precision and to ensure its working performance. However, researches on modeling and control of membrane mirrors under thermal loads are sparse in open literatures. A 0.2 m diameter scale model of a polyimide membrane mirror is developed in this study. Three Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) patches are laminated on the non-reflective side of the membrane mirror to serve as in-plane actuators. A new mathematical model of the piezoelectric actuated membrane mirror in multiple fields,(i.e., thermal,mechanical, and electrical field) is established, with which dynamic and static behaviors of the mirror can be analyzed.A closed-loop membrane mirror shape control system is set up and a surface shape control method based on an influence function matrix of the mirror is then investigated. Several experiments including surface displacement tracking and thermal deformation alleviation are performed. The deviations range from 15 μm to 20 μm are eliminated within 0.1 s and the residual deformation is controlled to micron level, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed membrane shape control strategy and shows a satisfactory real-time performance. The proposed research provides a technological support and instruction for shape control of optical membrane mirrors. 展开更多

Using three-dimensional rigid-plastic finite element method base on Lagrange multiplier to analyze the deformation of strip,influence function method to calculate the elastic deflection of rolls and three-dimensionalelastic FEM to analyze the flattening deformation between work roll and strip,a coupled model was established with a iteration way.The effect of various kinds flatness control method such as bending force,rolls shift and cross angle and also various kind of influence factors such as friction coefficient,strip crown,rolls wear and thermo-crown on strip flatness can be analyzed using this coupled model.A great deal of information for example outlet crown of the strip,front and back tension,rolling force distribution for per length,rolls elastic deformation and forward slip can be obtained.In order to improve computational efficiency,the average change of rolling force for per unit length was added into the criterion to determine if the coupled process is end,which can save 30 percent computing time for one pass but the changes of strip thickness is not large than 5μm.The exploration has certain conductive significance for improving efficiency of other type of mill. 展开更多

The method to predict roll deformation precisely and efficiently is vital for the strip shape control of a six-high rolling mill. Traditional calculation methods of roll deformation, such as the finite element method and the influence function method, have been widely used due to their accuracies. However, the required calculation time is too long to be applied to the realtime control. Therefore, a rapid calculation method for predicting roll deformation of a six-high rolling mill was proposed, which employed the finite difference method to calculate the roll deflection and used a polynomial to describe the nonlinear relationship between roll flattening and roll contact pressure. Furthermore, a new correction strategy was proposed in the iteration, where the roll center flattening and the roll flattening deviation were put forward and corrected simultaneously in the iteration process according to the static equilibrium of roll. Finally, by the comparison with traditional methods, the proposed method was proved to be more efficient and it was suitable for the online calculation of the strip shape control. 展开更多

Fluid jet polishing(FJP)is a versatile polishing process that has many advantages compared to other polishing processes.Stand-off distance(SOD)is one of the key parameters in flu id jet polishi ng.However,relatively little research work has been carried out to investigate its effect of SOD on material removal characteristics and surface generation in FJP.In this paper,a systematic investigation of the effect of SOD on the tool influence function and surface topography in FJP was conducted.Experiments were designed for FJP two kinds of materials corresponding to ductile and brittle materials.They are nickel copper(NiCu)alloy and BK7 optical glass,respectively.In this study,the SOD was varied from 2 to 35 mm.Analysis and discussions were made on its effect on the shape of TIF,material removal rate,and surface topography.It is interesting to note that the TIF shape becomes a Gaussian-like shape with large SOD both on NiCu and BK7,which provides a novel way to optimize the TIF in FJP.The variation of the material removal rate and surface roughness versus SOD on NiCu and BK7 were also determined from the experimental results.Moreover,the surface topography of NiCu and BK7 were characterized from the results measured from the white light interferometer and scan electron microscope.The outcome of the study provides a better understanding of the material removal characteristics and surface generation mechanism in FJP. 展开更多
