Solitonic Information Transmission in General Relativity

An exact solution of the vacuum Einstein＇s field equations is presented, in which there exists a congruence of null geodesics whose shear behaves like a travelling wave of the KdV equation. On the basis of this exact solution, the feasibility of solitonic information transmission by exploiting the nonlinearity intrinsic to the Einstein field equations is discussed.

A Method of Image Symmetry Detection Based on Phase Information

Traditional methods for detecting symmetry in image suffer greatly from the contrast of image and noise, and they all require some preprocessing. This paper presents a new method of image symmetry detection. This method detects symmetry with phase information utilizing IogGabor wavelets,because phase information is stable and significant, while symmetric points produce patterns easy to be recognised and confirmable in local phase. Phase method does not require any preprocessing, and its result is accurate or invariant to contrast, rotation and illumination conditions. This method can detect mirror symmetry, rotating symmetry and curve symmetry at one time. Results of experiment show that, compared with pivotal element algorithm based on intensity information, phase method is more accurate and robust.

Studies on GIS Based Tracing and Traceability of Safe Crop Product in China

The safety of safe crop products （SCP） is critical to maintain people＇s health and living standard. With the global efforts on the improvement of the traceability of food products, it is inevitable to establish corresponding traceability systems to monitor the safety of crop products in China. In this article, the supply chain pattern of SCP in China has been analyzed and its spatial characters have been described in detail. The study deals with on how to relate traceability technology with GIS, and on how to trace and retrace the safety of SCP using the function of excellent spatial representation, spatial locating, and spatial analysis provided in GIS, which has been discussed from several aspects, such as coding technique of traceability information, transferring technique of traceability information, spatialization of traceability information, and application integration of traceability system. A pilot study was carried out to present the basic functions of the system, which provided an efficient and credible way to trace and retrace the safety of SCP in a real supply chain. An innovative idea has been brought forward for how to establish an efficient, credible, applied traceability system of SCP.

A watershed-based adaptive knowledge system for developing ecosystem stakeholder partnerships

This study proposes a Watershed-based Adaptive Knowledge System(WAKES) to consistently coordinate multiple stakeholders in developing sustainable partnerships for ecosystem management.WAKES is extended from the institutional mechanism of Payments for Improving Ecosystem Services at the Watershed-scale(PIES-W).PIES-W is designed relating to the governance of ecosystem services flows focused on a lake as a resource stock connecting its inflowing and outflowing rivers within its watershed.It explicitly realizes the values of conservation services provided by private land managers and incorporates their activities into the public organizing framework for ecosystem management.It implicitly extends the "upstream-to-downstream" organizing perspective to a broader vision of viewing the ecosystems as comprised of both "watershed landscapes" and "marine landscapes".Extended from PIES-W,WAKES specifies two corresponding feedback:Framework I and II.Framework I is a relationship matrix comprised of three input-output structures of primary governance factors intersecting three subsystems of a watershed with regard to ecosystem services and human stakeholders.Framework II is the Stakeholder-and-Information structure channeling five types of information among four stakeholder groups in order to enable the feedbacks mechanism of Framework I.WAKES identifies the rationales behind three fundamental information transformations,illustrated with the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis and the Strategic Action Program of the Bermejo River Binational Basin.These include(1) translating scientific knowledge into public information within the Function-and-Service structure corresponding to the ecological subsystem,(2) incorporating public perceptions into political will within the Serviceand-Value structure corresponding to the economic subsystem,and(3) integrating scientific knowledge,public perceptions and political will into management options within the Value-and-Stakeholder structure corresponding to the social subsystem.This study seeks to share a vision of social adaptation for a global sustainable future through developing a network to adopt contributions from and forming partnerships among all ecosystem stakeholders.

Efficient Security Sequencing Problem over Insecure Channel Based on Homomorphic Encryption

In the field of sequencing of secret number,an important problem is how to establish an efficient and secure protocol for sorting the secret number.As a powerful tool in solving privacy sequencing problems,secure multipart computation is more and more popular in anonymous voting and online auction.In the present study,related secure computation protocol for sequencing problem is not many by far.In order to improve the efficiency and safety,we propose a security sequencing protocol based on homomorphic encryption.We also give analysis of correctness and security to highlight its feasibility.

Research on Part Experssion Methodology of Part Library Based on ISO13584

ISO13584(PLIB) is an international standard, which is established to realize computer’s identification of data expression and data exchange of part library. In this international standard, part expression methodology of part library is an important characteristic, which distinguishes itself from STEP. So, the methodology is a focus in the research of part library. This article describes the principles of part information expression of part library based on ISO13584, and the research results of the methodology in details.

Transforming information from spin encoding to route encoding

Spin （polarization） is widely used in free-space optics, while in photouic integrated circuits （PICs）, infor- mation is usually encoded in optical route. So a practical way to connect these two encoding methods is necessary for information communication. In this letter, an encoding convertor is designed to connect spin encoding and route encoding. Finite element method is used to calculate the conversion efficiency and extinction ratio of the encoding convertor and the theoretical analyses are also given. Our protocol shows a friendly way to convert optical spin information to route information, which will promote the compatibility of free-space optics and PICs.

Holographic software for quantum networks

We introduce a pictorial approach to quantum information, called holographic software. Our software captures both algebraic and topological aspects of quantum networks. It yields a bi-directional dictionary to translate between a topological approach and an algebraic approach. Using our software, we give a topological simulation for quantum networks. The string Fourier transform(SFT) is our basic tool to transform product states into states with maximal entanglement entropy. We obtain a pictorial interpretation of Fourier transformation, of measurements, and of local transformations, including the n-qudit Pauli matrices and their representation by Jordan-Wigner transformations. We use our software to discover interesting new protocols for multipartite communication. In summary, we build a bridge linking the theory of planar para algebras with quantum information.
